To be a truly great restaurant you need all three if there's a chance of a return visit. Maginn's Irish Pub did everything to a very high standard. The Fish and Chips I ate was superb. These had skinny fries while the sandwiches had thick pub fries. Didn't order any drinks but most people looked happy with the selections. You can ask to get 10% off your meal if you go to a movie and show your ticket. I asked our server about it and said she'd take care of it. Well she didn't. Whatever! I figure it's tough making a profit these days so I didn't push it. Wouldn't want the pub to go under for just $8. Service seemed pretty slow as it may have been understaffed the night we went. Several people outside waited quite a while for their checks to be handled. Didn't take any pictures, plenty are already posted in other reviews. Free Parking is in the garage adjacent. That is a nice draw in Newhall.

At that point after waiting 30 minutes and no service at all the whole family got up and walked out. The hostess downstairs was surprised we were finished that quickly. Told them what happened and they seemed surprised. Unfortunately no one was able to talk to us and we ended up going somewhere else for dinner. Since then sent e-mails. Called. Commented on social media. Absolutely no response at all. So thanks for that birthday surprise. At this point I doubt I will set foot in their doors again unless something seriously changes. Which is sad because I have frequented the brewery in the past and this was our first time trying the public house. Never again.

The sauces were very good and I loved that part of the restaurant. It was pretty quite and calm atmosphere. They have a full bar. The bill came and it was $200 plus tip. My kids had a kids plate and another adult plate. It's pricey. We didn't want to go to a chain to support our local spots. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. I went to a famous steakhouse the next week, purchased a bunch of cocktails, 2 plates, and an appetizer for $200. Food is good. Service is so so and prices are high.

The barbecue sauce needed to be doused on the meat to make sure there's some flavor. My boyfriend also got the tri-tip plate that is worth $30. The meat was more seasoned and spiced. But I did not like the taste of it. It was hard to finish this plate, even though it's barbecue and I love meat. The corn bread also was unsurprisingly not good. Overall didn't finish up our plates even with the pricing too, which shows just how lackluster our lunch was. Maybe it's better in the actual establishment, but that means the food truck needs to be consistent. The staff was friendly however.

Went with a couple girlfriends on a whim when I was in Santa Clarita. Bartenders were so rude, carrying on like there was nobody waiting for a drink, not care in the world or sense of urgency to help people.
