1/2 rack ribs
Cassandra C.

This was my first time here to eat. All I can say is Wow. The service was immediately welcoming and amazing. The waitress was quick and attentive. The food comes out fast. We started with wings , which were crispy but moist on the inside. Pork belly bites holy smokes ! So Good. We then had the jalapeños popper which was so flavorful and delish. We were already almost full but still ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs and tri tip. Both were exactly what we were craving ! The side dishes were so good. Fries, beans , coleslaw, corn bread. I'm super sad that I only now ate there. This will be the new go to spot. Weather and vibes were perfect. There was a band. Thanks for the great food and the great service . See y'all soon.

This place is fantastic and we found it by chance after striking out on several locations we wanted to try. Not only is this location located in a picturesque setting, surrounded by mountains, train sounds in the distance, water flowing from the nearby river; they even have an RV park where you can stay at. All this is before you even talk about the food. The food is delicious, BBQ in front of you, amazing outdoor communal dining, on the weekends they even have live music to enjoy. This place was amazing and just the kind of place we were looking to enjoy on Valentine's Day Weekend. Amazing food, super friendly staff, great beer selection, great live music, honestly what else could you ask for?! They made it truly enjoyable and we'll be looking forward to coming back and enjoying some brisket and delicious Mac and cheese, cornbread, and honey butter. Thank y'all for an amazing time!

Came here to celebrate my son's birthday after he kept telling us we had to try this place--and I'm glad we listened. This spot is truly a hidden gem in Santa Clarita for American BBQ. The food was excellent and the service made the experience even better. Ray, our server, was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the night. The vibe in the evening is really nice too--relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for a casual dinner. I was a little worried my wife might not enjoy it since she's not usually a big fan of American BBQ, but to our surprise she loved it. If you're coming here, the brisket is a must-try--tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. For appetizers, the jalapeño poppers and the loaded fries were both standout items and definitely worth ordering. Overall, great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

River's End is one unassuming but fantastic BBQ spot that is worth making your way out to! Although I wanted to try the Tri-Tip, Brisket, and Pulled Pork, the special of the day was a huge Beef Short Rib (~1LB) with two sides that my wife and I shared. Meat was seasoned and smoked well, fall of the bone tender, and fat was rendered through. One of the better short ribs I've had in a long time, and while the spicy bbq sauce wasn't needed, it was tangy enough to help even out the richness of the meat. The side of sprouts are smoked, then deep fried and hit with a balsamic glaze, and were quite good. Fries were seasoned well and crispy, I could have had a ton of them. I did get to try some brisket and onion rings from another person in our party and the brisket was decent considering it was pretty close to closing and the onion rings were tasty. Food came out in a timely fashion and service was extremely friendly. We felt like we were regulars even though we had never been. Extra point for having a good local beer on draft (I wish they had more local options, but at least they had Lucky Luke!). Wind your way through Soledad Canyon and pop in to River's End for a cold beer and good BBQ! You might even get lucky and find live music or comedy on their outdoor stage or inside the pub, but one thing's for sure, you're guaranteed to get a good plate of BBQ!

My parents have been raving about this place so of course when I came to visit they had to take my husband and I for some good BBQ. Growing up in Acton, I was definitely hesitant about a BBQ place in an old RV Park I used to drive by whenever I took the scenic drive home from SCV, but dang this place far exceeded my expectations. First of all, huge shoutout to our waitress, Lorna, as well as the hostess. They were both super friendly and offered exceptional service. The restaurant was pretty big. There was a fairly large indoor dining area, a separate bar, a covered patio, and picnic tables outside. We chose to sit outside since the weather was so nice. We loved the string lights as it added to the cozy atmosphere. They also have live music, but we came later in the evening and missed it (hoping to catch the music next time we come). Now let's talk BBQ. There are a ton of amazing BBQ joints in the State & City I now live, but River's End was some of the best we've had in a long time. My husband and I split the Sunday Special, the beef short rib, which was MASSIVE! It looked like a dinosaur bone. The meat was so tender that we never needed a knife and it had great flavor. We had fries and Brussel sprouts for our sides; fries were standard but good, the Brussels were sooooo delicious. My mom got the 50/50 plate with brisket and pulled pork. Both meats were super tender and juicy, but we all enjoyed the pulled pork slightly more than the brisket. My dad had a mad craving for a burger and said it was pretty good. Going in with low expectations, I was certainly blown away and I'm looking forward to the next time we visit my folks so we can come back for dinner.

We heard about this place on Instagram. Decided to give them a try. Its a short 10 min drive up Soledad from Sierra hwy/Soledad intersection. We drove into the RV park and found parking right away. We could hear the band and considered sitting outside but decided to sit indoors instead. My friend and I decided to split a brisket plate and share their pulled pork fries . Our server's name was Janet or Janice. I don't remember. (Sorry girl) She had a warm smile and provided great service. My friend and I decided to split a brisket plate. The brisket plate comes with two sides. We decided on mac and cheese and brussel sprouts. We also ordered pulled pork fries and an extra side of cornbread. The fries came out first. The flavor was well balanced and very delicious. Our brisket platter came shortly after. The Brisket was very good with great flavor, a little dry for my taste but I assume it because we came towards the end of the night. Very good nonetheless. The indoor dining experience was great. We were able to catch some of the dodger game and still have time to go outside and enjoy the band. My friend and I really enjoyed this place. We will definitely come back and bring her husbands.

Nestled in the Soledad canyon, this isolated place is a sweet find. If you want to get away from the city and take in a more rustic ambiance, this is a great spot to grab some grub and a drink. Price - $$$ Quality - 5 Ambiance - 4 Portions - 3 Cleanliness - 5 Although mixed cocktails are not available, variations of great beers and seltzers are and I would recommend them. The BBQ is well smoked but portions are a tad small for the cost. The smash burgers rock and deserts are nice touches to end the meal. The band this evening was a gem and better then 98% of live band acts. Recommend visiting this establishment

Off the beaten path, but worth the drive. Friendly staff. Chill spot with country vibe. Ribs were Outstanding. Tender, flavorful cooked just right. Pork belly bites were delicious little nuggets. Juicy and tasty with a sweet spicy kick. Brisket sandwich had great texture on the meat, and topped with pickled unions and cabbage. Sauces had a zesty flavor and complemented the meats very well. We look forward to going back to enjoy one of their nights with live music, and to check out the bar side or the outdoor bar area.

You gotta check this place out! Legit barbecue, (native Texan here), and amazing vibes. Friendly people, and live music. We were there on a rainy Sunday and can't wait to go back when it's more lively.

Wildman burger! Right to business double patty, double cheese. Not messing around. So goooood!!!!

What a hidden gem!!!!!!!!!!! This place is so close to LA yet feels like you are not only in another state but in another time period. The vibe is very western. The staff is great! Very kind and personable. You mean something here. They dont just serve you beer and food but great conversation as well. But the gold is the food!!!! The BBQ is top notch! Should be Michelin Star 110% With 10 taps flowing including everybody'sfavorites! 805,, Lucky Luke's, Hazy IPA, Space Dust by Elysian, Brown Knows Cider and for those looking to keep it simple they have good old Coors, Models and Michelob Ultra for those trying to keep it light. Its a fantastic spot for family (kid friendly), friends get together, motorcycle club meets, car club gatherings and so on with a great canyon to drive just out of the driveway. But it doesnt stop there every weekend they host some of the best local bands in Southern California!!! Worth the drive no matter where you're coming from this spot will not disappoint!!! I can guarantee it.

The smoked chicken with cherry glaze is the best. So tender and juicy was the half chicken throughout. You could taste that smoky cherry glaze and it set it apart from a plain old bbq. I enjoyed all the sides especially the cornbread which was really moist and had a perfect texture. Iced tea is fresh brewed and bold just the way I like it. The staff treated me and my family well so that's what I really appreciated.

This is a great little spot with friendly folks. I'd give it a solid 3.5 stars if I could, so don't let the 3 fool you, I'll be back for those weekend ribs! Hubby ordered the Wild Man burger("no rabbit food") just good ol' smash with 2 patties, 2 slices of 'Merican cheese and bacon - the way God intended! When it arrived he was worried he wouldn't be able to finish it but, bless his heart - literally, prayers please - he did. He gave it a thumbs up - DELICIOUS! He opted for a side of Mac n cheese, but I think he would've like the fries better. The Mac n cheese was baked & dry, not creamy the way he prefers, and burnt on the bottom. Also, on the cool side, not warm or hot. I thought the loaded fries were sounding delicious and they did look good in Yelp photos. The pulled pork was tender and flavorful & the BBQ sauce was yum, but the "house smoked queso" mentioned in the description was missing. The "crispy fries" were indeed that, but my personal preference is a thicker steak fry. That being said, hubby likes the thinner fries and ate most of those for me. Service is friendly, but this staff is constantly running, so drink refills took a hot minute. Seemed Janet & Hannah were doing bar tending, meal prep, delivery, check ins and closing tabs all at once. Whew! AND they were taking care of interior, separate bar AND patio service. All with a positive attitude and smiles. The decor is ADORABLE! And everything felt welcoming, cozy, clean and well cared for. I do look forward to returning and trying a mixed plate of BBQ meats or a burger in a bowl. Cheers! "CC"

Back for lunch Happy to see Hannah as my server. She has 5 star attitude. A door dash driver came while I was here So maybe next time I will order in. I order today's special a Nashville chicken sandwich with Brussels Sprouts. This is my favorite side. I noticed that they will be starting a weekend brunch 9am September 7th pulled pork breakfast burrito Chicken and waffles brisket hash and more sound like some great choices. The dinning area has AC and they do play background music. They are very clea

We are rarely in the area, but since we had some errands to take care of that led us to be in the nearby, and we didn't know what to eat, then my wife said how about some fish and chips from a different place, then it hit me that I had this place bookmarked and saved for some time now, and now was the perfect time. We came there and parked in the public parking building that was free. We came inside and there was a party of two in front of us waiting. The waiter, seemed to be the only one, came by and said hi to everyone and his thanks for our patience and wait. He later came by and took them to their seats. They requested outside, and the took them. We waited a few more minutes, then it was our turn and he was ready to lead us to our seats, but we asked for outside as well. He asked us to give him a few minutes to clean up a table for us. After so, he sat us and gave us menus. The service is good, considering he is the only one, but he moves about pretty quickly and still giving everyone his all. The table was pretty nasty. It was sticky. But we wiped it down and proceeded onto our night. We ended up ordering the two piece fish and chips and their pub burger with no cheese as my wife is lactose intolerant. People really need to realize that smoking is smoking, it does not mean that vaping is ok. Respect others by keep that to yourself, especially in a restaurant. The food came out pretty fast, and very hot and fresh. One of the fish was perfect and crispy, the second pieces was lacking. It was soggy and not fried long enough. The fish itself was great. It had a nice texture, firmness, and lightly salted. The batter was bland and could use some salt. However, eating it with the tartar sauce was amazing. The tartar sauce is perfection. Definitely a good fish and chips combo when consuming with the tartar. The steak fries were perfect. The burger was completely lacking. I thought it should be sent back. The idea was ok, but the execution was wrong. The burger was overcooked, way too overcooked. If it was cooked correctly, it would have been a great burger. The onion rings are great though. Great flavor, great batter, good frying. Overall, the waiter made the experience good because he was on top of it. The food was ok, as there are things that would make it better. But if you have never been here, definitely come try it. Remember, the atmosphere is still a pub, not a family type restaurant, but is ok for a family to come here as well.
