Yum! Affordable, quick, and tasty. I recommend coming here if you're into meat and rice/ veggies. They also have tofu bowls. Meat selection is large: steak (beef), chicken, shrimp, salmon. read more

Stopped by on a Sunday for a tofu veggie bowl. Allen took our order at the drive thru. We aren't from this area, we're from Los Angeles and let me telllllll you, it was such a breath of fresh air to receive great customer service. Allen was super friendly and genuine. He deserves a raise! read more

Decided to try this place a few times - and i really enjoyed it tbh. They offer a variety of healthy options with "WaBa sauce" (it's like a teriyaki spice blend or something) along with a meat, rice and/or veggies. Simple and tasty. What really impressed me though is that the customer service and cleanliness at this location. The employees are extremely kind too - specifically Greg, he was spot on with our order. On top of that, they have the nutritional info online which is a huge plus IMO. 5/5, will keep coming here in the futurr read more

Probably the best fast food you're gonna get. I was surprised it actually is pretty dang good. The salad on the plate was ridiculous tho, just leaves. Barely any dressing or anything. But whatever, it is fast food after all. The salmon is good, haven't tried anything else tho. read more

Great place to stop by to grab food! I love the need teriyaki with veggies, steamed rice, and half avocado on top! Definitely recommend it!

Eminem once said, "you only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow" and unfortunately, Waba Grill blew it. I had never been here and because I wanted to switch it up from the usual "on the road Panda Express obligatory stop" and eat "healthily," I stopped here. They have a sign saying "we are not fast food because our ingredients are blah blah blah" okay fine. I order the Waba Plate and the guy working goes "do you want veggies and avocado?" I said "this is my first time here, do those come with it?" "Avocado costs $1.75" Sure! Why not! Go for the gusto. I'm waiting for like 15 min and the people behind me get their food first. I hate when that happens. I ask "is that plate coming?" And he says "plate right? It's coming up in just a minute." A few more minutes go by and he goes "you got the bowl right?" "No...I got the plate." "No you got the Waba bowl. You wanted veggies right? Veggies only come with the Waba bowl." As a first timer, of course I should've known this!!! The bowl had been sitting out for a while with no one claiming it, so I had to take it regretfully because patience is not my strong suit. Ate in the car while driving because I had to make up for the extensive wait. My life was in jeopardy!! And to top it all off, the food wasn't even good. Portion was tiny. Tasted like a small step up from Yoshinoya. I'm probably biased because of my experience, but I thought it was very very mediocre. I appear to be an anomaly, so hopefully you have a good time. This was my one chance, and I really wanted to like it, but never again. read more

Excellent place worth of try . I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food . They have health food with good portion . I had shrimp plate with brown rice which comes with salad and fruit . One can add avocado to it which I did . Variety of choices . I will be sure to be here again . read more

So I am usually very tough on my critiques, especially to places of business where time is of the essence but I have to give it to this place, they've definitely gotten a good 5 stars out of me. Excellent service, excellent prices and excellent food. I made a pit stop at this place for the first time on my way back from a business trip and even though they have a sign that says "be patient, this is not a fast food restaurant", their food was not only fast to be served, but of top quality as well. During my wait, several different servers checked in to see if I was comfortable or I needed something, and the manager (I think her name is Nune) even threw in a complimentary side order because I waited a few extra minutes. Everybody was so nice here and so accommodating to me...I wish this location was closer to where I live because I would definitely be a regular customer to this place!! Thank you so much for the delicious food guys- I promised I'd write a review on my experience here and this was it so I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area thanks again!!! read more

Great customer service! Staff was very sweet and accommodating to my kid's preferences; food was pretty yummy too! It was our first time stopping by Wabagrill and the whole fam loved it! We will definitely be coming back! Thanks guys!!! Five stars read more

Great friendly staff. Food was tasty. Will definitely be coming back to this place with some friends.

I am typically not a fan of chain restaurants, but this WaBa is really good. Employees seem happy and are very nice, they go out of their way to make sure you are happy with the experience. The food, happily, is very delisiously concistent here. I love their kale salad...they cook the salmon very well...time after time. The food here is healthy, not greasy, very flavorful and reasonably priced. This WaBa has my stamp of approval if you want to eat a delicious, healthy meal. read more

We were pleasantly surprised to find such good fast food while on the road. They have great options with tofu and veggies and delicious brown rice. My husbands steak bowl was also very tasty. I would definitely eat here again if I'm ever coming through town! read more

We were greeted warmly by the cashier. My friend had never been so the cashier took the time to talk about WaBa Grill and their style. We ordered and received our food in a timely manner. It was so yummy!! And no feeling of regret since it wasn't something unhealthy that is sometimes the only option when you're on the road. The place has a drive-thru for those that don't have the time to sit down. It was very clean and comfortable in the restaurant. Some drinks are available behind their counter or opt for the drinks from the soda machine. They also have teas. We'll definitely be back. Also, it's easy to get here and there's an easy on/off ramp from the 5 Freeway! read more

WaBa Grill - WaBa Doo! I choose you!! - Fast Food Near Me - Castaic, California

it's supposed to be quick healthy. But it's also pretty poor quality. I got the teriyaki bowl. I might as well have just got the same thing at Jack in the box. It tasted the same and was twice as much. Not a fan. I also haven't been back, so maybe their are other items that are decent. read more

This place has amazing food and is a great deal!! Thank you sonny for catering to my dietary restriction and being an awesome manager. someone with a severe food allergy like me, it's often difficult to find a restaurant that can cater to my need. When I called this restaurant to ask them if they added black pepper to any of their food they said that it would be easy for them to create a meal for me without it. The man I spoke to was the boss and said just ask for me when you come my name is Sonny. So when I got there he asked me what I wanted and I told him I wanted some awesome grilled chicken with steamed broccoli well done no black pepper. He was able to accommodate. The food was delicious and the service was awesome plus both of our meals are under $20. Thank you Sonny and WaBa CA staff! I can't wait for one of these in my area!! read more

Fantastic experience the MOMENT I walked in - Sunny greeted me, as I was typing on my phone what I wanted (I am deaf). He immediately grabbed a paper menu for me. I ordered from the paper menu and he pointed out everything else that can be added to the meal. He also made sure everything is GLUTEN FREE (no sauce on the salmon). He even used his phone to confirm my order... This meal will be DELICIOUS because of the STELLAR customer service! Thank you, Sunny! read more

Sorry but the food was sub par. I grilled shrimp were good, but the sauce was a little bitter. I ordered the spicy salmon salad. The dressing was good but the salad came with huge slices of raw carrots and cucumbers. How are you supposed to eat that. The salmon wasn't even grilled, it looked and it tasted like it was cooked in a pouch in the microwave. My husband ordered the WaBa bowl. The beef was good and the chicken was ok. We won't come again. Go to Ono Hawaiian if you can or el pollo loco. They have much better food and quality and quantity for the price. read more

This place is so delicious! My husband and I decided to try it out for the first time and oh my this exceeded our expectations. The food is fresh they make it when you order which is amazing. Everything there is very healthy and the workers there are so nice and professional! The place is really clean we will definitely go back ! Wish there was one up north where we live but it's worth the drive! read more

WaBa Grill - Fast Food Near Me - Castaic, California

Got off the freeway and decided to try something new. I loved the food, which was sold at a reasonable cost! Will definitely return again!

Usually I don't eat in restaurant a lot but today, I was called by Mr. Sunny for electrical issue. After I did my job, he offered me a free meal especially when he knew that I never tried it. It was a really nice and healthy meal, no oils no preservatives ... I tested the grilled chicken breast with steam cooked rice and vegetables. It was really healthy ... It was like home made food. I recommend it to everyone who is looking for healthy food read more

WaBa Grill - Half and half bowl with avocado. - Fast Food Near Me - Castaic, California

We had an order for pick up for 4pm yesterday 07/08/2022. Around 3:50pm, we had a family emergency where my family was involved in a car accident and had major injuries. We were not able to pick up the food and I did not have time to call because of everything that was going on. I explained to Manager TONY about the emergency we had and apologized for not calling. I asked if they can make the food again so we can pick it up. My husband is the only one that works and we have four kids. money is tight and we had an emergency. He stated, "since we made the food, and had to throw it away i can't do anything about it." He was not sympathetic and not understanding. I have worked in the food buisness and have never been treated like this. read more

I'm not claiming they do, but I think they add MSG on their food. I always get sick after a Chinese buffet restaurant and I know they add MSG. But when I go to Chinese restaurants that don't add MSG AND I order the same exact food, I don't get sick. So, with that in mind I know the type of sickness I get when I eat MSG. After eating at this WaBa Grill after been wanting to go for so long, I immediately got sick. The headache was terrible to deal with and I was at work (I work with computers and it was hard to look at the screen). I felt super nauseous. The worst kind of nausea I've ever had after eating MSG. I just felt the urge to throw up every 10 minutes, I managed to not, but it was very uncomfortable. MSG is an additive to make the food taste better, but the saddest part was that the food wasn't even that yummy. I ordered the half steak and half chicken. I love Asian food and I love Yoshinoya, Hungry Ninja, and similar places, but this WaBa Grill was not good. read more

We briefly stopped by here to pick up food before continuing north and it was very delicious, speedy, and fulfilling. My partner and I both got the veggie/rice bowl with chicken/beef. The rice was cooked perfectly, veggies were noticeably fresh, and the chicken and beef were cooked well and tender. We really enjoyed the seasoning as it wasn't overbearing, and was flavorful without being salty. The spicy sauce was also a pleasant addition to the vegetables and the other two sauces were also amazing but overall the sauces are not needed if you don't want a sauce. If you need to stop by somewhere before continuing on 5N I would suggest here! We will be back again! read more

Seriously my favorite go to post workout place! The steak and veggie bowl warms my heart . I hate healthier food, but this doesn't taste bland like most healthy food does! The waba sauce is ahhhhh maaaaazzing. Service , I've always done drive thru and it's a little on the slow side, but I'll give it to them , it's not gross like fast food and thus this shit takes time. Anyway the manager here that I always run into is the nicest guy ever! I felt like we were being hooked up when really we were never actually being hooked up. All in all, if you want something healthier but quick ish , give this place a try (: read more

Yikes took me 40 minutes to get a beef bowl and a chicken ball horrible very slow they seem to be busy behind the counter but horrible service and very slow 40 minutes is too long to wait for rice bowls with chicken and beef on them i do not suggest coming here I will not come back here again. I don't like this place.... read more

So far we've tried everything except the shrimp plate. The chicken and salmon are delicious! The portions are great. The ribs are not so great in comparison to the others. The service is excellent. The prices are decent and the food is very healthy. Wait time is very short and if you call in your order you can pick it up straight from their drive-through window. If dining inside, the place is very clean, not fancy, but clean. If you dare, try the hot sauce and jalapeños with your meal. read more

So disappointed, I love waba grill, but this place was so far the worst I've had. I ordered 6 bowls and was very disappointed. First off, the salmon was stiff and cold and bland. I ordered it with brown rice and got white. All the bowls had minimal amount of chicken compared to other places I've gone to. I also ordered a miso soup and it was very bad. So sad, we don't get to eat at waba grill very often because we live far from one. read more

Excellent food and service too! I ordered the salmon plate with avocado and my hubby had the short ribs and avocado and we shared. We also ordered a side of shrimp and a miso soup. Easy on and off the I-5 freeway both north and south directions and this is real food people!! Sonny and his crew provided excellent customer service and the bathrooms were clean! Absolutely TERRIBLE! Ordered on Grubhub and so many items were missing when it was delivered. I called WaBa to let them know and Eduardo said it's NOT HIS PROBLEM and there was no manager available. WaBa in Castaic is absolutely not a place you want to order food from. Horrific customer service. How can they be so rude to their customers? We will never give this place a dime ever again. read more
