After getting seated, I noticed on our receipt that the Sweet Potato Fries was regular size, instead of the large we normally order. I should have noticed this before paying so I went back to the register to see if I could get this changed and pay the difference. After explaining the mistake to the team member, he immediately went to the kitchen to let them know. He then said that there wouldn't be a charge. He also delivered our food, making sure that everything was correct. It was all prepared perfectly! Notably excellent service during a peak dining period!

The price I paid for the starter was 16.00 (full price), the happy hour price for the same item is 9.00, a 7.00 difference. I asked the waitress if I would be charged the 16.00 or the 9.00. She said that I ordered it at 2:40. Interesting that she didn't have to look at what time I ordered the item, she knew as if she thought I would ask about it later. It would have been nice if she had let me know, so I could have chosen to wait. I could have waited and ordered our regular food first. This situation made a late lunch/early dinner less enjoyable (I felt frustrated). It might not seem like a big deal, but I've only been to Finney's a few times. I just felt it was a lack of consideration on the server. The food was good and the portions were adequate-that earned them the 3 stars.

Yelp recommended Hook Burger, so I listened. This local burger joint serves up all your favorites: burgers, sammies, salads, and more. I ordered the chicken caprese sandwich. Since this meal was around $13, I expected it to be pretty average. I was shocked to find the sandwich was absolutely delicious. I devoured it in minutes. While the concept is fast-casual, they have a pretty large dining space. This place is great for big groups, family outings, etc. I could easily see myself stopping here on my next road trip!

We decided to hang out a little longer and ordered something sweet -- Vanilla Frosty and Cinnabon Pull-Apart. The Frosty was very nostalgic for the husband. I really enjoyed that warm, perfectly sweet pull-apart. The music playing was also nice. We ended up talking a bit longer. The place is super clean. The people were all so friendly. A second…read morereview as well but due to a misunderstanding with Yelp, as to whether I was dining compliments of them during an Elite event ( I wasn't). Or whether I and my wife paid for our own meal (we most assuredly did). And that, about a week after the free Yelp event had ended. My first review was still scrapped by Yelp. Sometimes we just can't make those Elite invitations. Now if my current Funburger review is allowed to remain, here is my take on them. We love the whole vibe of this place. Great for a fun time dining out; whether alone, couples, families, or groups. With mostly above average menu choices. Our takeout order for three people consisted of the following; my Lone Star Beef Ribs plate, with a side of fries and garlic bread. My wife's brisket burger. And our son's brisket plate with his choice of mac & cheese and garlic butter toast. My beef ribs were as tender as any I've ever eaten! And with huge cuts of meat; the two that come in an order are equivalent to at least four you'd usually get most other places. No joke! With only one complaint of the sauce not being the most satisfying. Rather weak flavor wise. So a little Sweet Baby Rays added is recommended. Or any favorite choice you may desire. But these ribs were so well grilled they can stand the test of no sauce required. Now as for my fries, sort of meh after the short trip home. And the garlic butter toast could really use more garlic. But those ribs! Hats off to the kitchen! My wife enjoyed her brisket sandwich, but our son has yet to chime in. A definite future return visit is in the cards.

Service? What Service?? Drove through this Jimmy Dean's on…read morethe old road to get a char grilled chicken sandwich, one of my favorites for many years. My "lack of service" experience began at the drive-through order box. To be fair, there's a loud air conditioner next to the drive-through making it harder to hear. There's also a car wash next-door, adding noise. I asked for a chargrilled chicken sandwich, she replied back a tropical chicken sandwich, I said no a chargrilled chicken sandwich. She replied back "thats what I said". She repeated it again, sounding like a tropical chicken sandwich, which is another choice on their menu, but I cut my losses here. Decided to ride this one out at the window. Now, at the window, 2:30 PM, this female ( wore glasses, dark hair pulled back) attendant was on her headset, obviously listening to somebody, as she was talking to me, so clearly distracted. Took my credit card, gave it back with no interaction. No smile, she acted as if I was bothering her & the last priority on her mind truly. Then gave me my food with NO thank you, no smile, as a matter of fact, a grimace face the whole time! I remained there after she walked away, since I decided to get ranch dressing too. When she came back to the window, she acting annoyed that I was still there, I said "I'd like some ranch dressing, please". She replied, "75 cents" ". I said, "sure no problem" & gave her the .75 cents. She then gave me the dressing without thanking me again. She had three opportunities to thank me but elected not to do so. She didn't smile once, and remained listening to her headset. Call it a sticking point BUT leaving restaurant establishments feeling neglected and miss treated is NOT ACCEPTABLE! There's an obvious lack of monitoring employees by the afternoon shift manager at this location. I felt her poor attitude and even anger. shift Managers need to be watching their employees consistently & provide real - time customer service training, with consequences for not providing it. I left there so annoyed! After two days, I'm still annoyed enough to write this review. She was rude and I found this unacceptable in a service business. I probably won't go to that location again. She lost my business for them.

There was a line wrapping out the door and the drive-thru was backed up just as far. I decided to stick out the drive-thru, and it turned out to the best decision. Even though it took about 45 minutes to get my food, that was nothing compared to the inside line, which was a brutal 1 to 1.5 hour wait.
