    Hickory Burger

Tried Hook Burger after many years and I can see why people are hooked! Had the hickory burger loaded with crispy onions, bbq sauce and bacon. It was hearty to say the least. The patty was juicy and medium rare, where you can taste the difference from ordinary fast food joints. Fries were cooked well and you can tell they were freshly made. Next time I need to check out their other menu options - salads looked good! My burger, fries and drink came out to about $20. You pay for quality here. Docking a star because they charge extra for ranch. Otherwise everything was great.

Whenever I come home to visit my parents, I have to make a stop here! Their meat quality is 10/10. The patty was cooked to perfection... not too greasy but the meat was juicy! It was my first time trying the pastrami sandwich, and it was good for a burger place. Slightly salty, but that's typically expected for pastrami. The trio (French fries, onion rings, and sweet potato fries) is great for sharing as you can get all 3 of their sides. I love that they have this option!! All 3 were fried well. My favorite is the onion rings! Crispy, yumminess. Thanks for such delicious burgers and fries for a reasonable price!!

I went here on a Saturday afternoon and ordered a hickory burger and the trio. There's a lot is seating and acrylic over the tables. It's a very clean place. The food arrived in about 10 minutes and I quickly realized it was too much for one person. The Trio could've been an entire meal on its own. The fries were all very good. The onion rings were good too but I like the fries better. The burger is pretty tall, and everything felt like it was in harmony. The only thing that was lacking were the sauces. They had ranch and an orange sauce that tasted similar to a cocktail space. Overall it was a great meal.

Absolutely love this chain and wish the one in Woodland Hills didn't close and get replaced by another Starbucks. Such great quality burgers and love their Trio which consists of onion rings, regular fries, and sweet potato fries! We dropped by over the weekend for some lunch since we were in the area to run some errands at the Target in the same plaza. Huge parking lot which is nice since it shares the lot with a bunch of other shops. It wasn't very busy when we dropped by, maybe like 3 or 4 other couples/families. Love that they have a high table and a long one too. It's actually really wide which makes for a lot of room. The windows are so open and really brighten up the place. They also have an outside patio area to dine in as well. Overall a great location and the staff members come around to check and make sure you're doing alright which you don't really expect from a fast food chain! Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back. IG: @ammysalamii

The food here is great and the portions are very fair! I got the kids meal chicken strips and fries along with a kid size Oreo shake and it was super filling, and I had enough to share the leftovers with my friends! The Oreo shake had a great flavor, I just wish it was thicker and creamier. The chicken strips were also great and tasted like good quality natural white meat chicken. I will say that they slightly lacked in flavor and seasoning though. The service here is sooo nice it's almost suspicious LOL. Everyone is so polite and they came to check on our table, clear our trays, and apologize for the delayed shakes multiple times. Great place and the food always hits!

Came by tonight about 40 mins before they closed. There were a lot of people dining in and more patrons still coming in up until almost closing time. We ordered a veggie burger (black bean) and 2 hook burgers with the sampler (French fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings). The burgers were all made fresh to order and the veggie burger had all fresh ingredients with fresh avocado on it. I couldn't believe how light the burger was but very filling. I asked for some hot sauce and the helpful employee got us a sample of everything spicy they had: chipotle mayo, chalula, tapatio and small peppers. Everything was so delicious! We'll be back to have a different burger next time or maybe we'll get the same order.

Delicious food, excellent service, and chill ambiance! Ordered a hook burger and a spicy fried chicken sandwich. The burger was incredible! Everything was fresh and full of flavor. The chicken sandwich was good as well! It reminded me of a fancier version of McDonald's McCrispys (in the best way possible!!!) Everyone working was so kind and welcoming! Great value for great food!

I've gone to Hook Burger several times and never disappoints. Conveniently located across from Valencia Mall, so after you've worked up an appetite from that "shop till you drop" - head down here for a big ol burger packed with so much flavor. They got an extensive menu of options yet clearly organized if you're craving chicken, beef, and salads. My weakness are the fries, nice golden brown with that slight crunch to them. A burger so delectable and fresh all for a reasonable price. Excellent service from the staff and your order is brought out to your table in a timely manner. Excited to check more of this place and try all their menu options. Highly recommend!

Not worth the price. It's about $25 for a meal. Fries just taste blah. Much better food for the same price point.

I thought that it was a great addition to our night, ontop of the food we got. Maria was our server and she checked in on us pretty frequently while we were there!!! Food ratings: Bread plate- Our appetizers. Pretty standard bread with a crust outside and soft inside. It was accompanied with olive dip. Jambalaya- This plate was pretty good but as time went on, the spice began to really build up for me. My spice tolerance is also pretty low. The flavors and the pasta noodles were good but yeah I did feel like there was a good amount of red peppers in my plate. Had some extras for leftovers. Tri-Tip Plate- You can choose what sauce you want with your meat (which can be cooked to your liking). We didn't like how the meat was literally doused in the sweet, tangy BBQ sauce. It was tender but yeah, the sauce felt like too much and it made the plate too sweet somehow. Sundried Tomato Pesto- The linguini noodles were delicious and creamy with the sauce. Good flavored pasta. Pine nuts included!!! Be aware for any allergies. Good portion size, took some home to-go. Spicy Thai pizza- Has peanut sauce and almonds on the dough. It was enjoyed by my friends and they found it pretty tasty. The beers on tap were pretty delicious, some of us ordered another. Hmm, I dont remember if there was still a happy hour going on even though it was Monday night since I didn't see any menu for it.

Lovely spot for drinks and dinner in Santa Clarita…read more I was in the area running errands and decided to grab dinner nearby on a Thusday evening around 6:30 pm. I found this place on Yelp and dropped by for dinner. My party of 2 was seated immediately. Personally I thought the menus were hard to read. The gray lines in the background were quite dark and clashed with the actual menu items. My suggestion to the restaurant would be to reprint the menus with lighter background. They have an extensive cocktail menu with a lot of gin-based drinks. They also have good selection of wine and NA drinks as well, including some mocktails. I got the I'm Driving mocktail ($13), which I really liked. It had good passion fruit flavor without being too sour. Felt like a really nice tropical juice. My friend really liked his drink Bramblin' Man ($17), which had strong notes of bourbon and blackberry. I wasn't super hungry, but the braised short rib looked amazing so I got that for $43. It was very tender, but I personally found it bland especially on the inside. I asked for additional sauce so I could drench each bite in the sauce. My favorite part of the plate was surprisingly the potato croquette, which was perfectly crispy and well flavored. My friend got the chicken club ($23), which he enjoyed. I stole a bunch of his seasoned fries since they were so good. I would've loved to get dessert but was too stuffed. Next time!
