Between this place and Jersey Mikes, Subway and Capriottis, I found the value and taste to be better at this place. The ingredients are pure and don't have artificial and natural flavors in the bread. These actually are found in the Subway and Jersey Mikes bread. It may also be in Capriottis bread as it did taste like an artificial type of bread. I ordered number 26, which was a roast beef, Swiss cheese, lettuce tomatoes and vinegar like dressing. The food itself was sour, but not in a fowl way. The sandwhich was about $14 and although that seems high, it was a decent size and it filled me up. The taste and texture of the food was really good. I enjoyed it. Service was average as you would expect. Nobody seemed excited working there but the food came out right and came out on time which is very important. Ambiance inside was nice, cozy and seemed calm and serene. Surround environment was okay, a parking lot with a lot of space, no graffiti anywhere or loiters. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot and not many people were around when I came. Overall, better than the other three sandwhich places mentioned in Santa Clarita, however; Las Vegas has better options and better tasting sandwiches at Greenberg. I would say of Santa Clarita, it's pretty dang good for what it is and the menu is unique with plenty of different options if you're into sandwiches. These sandwiches are not too easy to make so I'll give them that, a lot of care and ingredients required to assemble some of their sandwiches which would otherwise be difficult to make if I were to handpick each ingredient. The sauces options were vast and I would personally stay away from them as they are added calories and my roast beef sandwich didn't need it as it was already fine as it was. I'd come back again if I crave a good sandwich. One thing to note, make sure you heat up the sandwich as it is cold and I should have asked to grill it but didn't. It would have a crunchy texture to the bread which was needed. My bread was a little wet and soggy but not enough to destroy the sandwich. Great to bring a date if that exists nowadays. read more

Really disappointed with how much this place has declined since the recent ownership change. It used to be one of the best sandwich spots around, but the quality and value just aren't the same anymore. They're noticeably using much less of everything (tomatoes, onions, avocado, and even the protein) while still charging the same premium prices. The sandwiches feel noticeably under-portioned compared to what they used to serve. Orders also seem to take longer now, which I can understand with a change in ownership, but the decline in quality and portions is much harder to overlook. It's honestly sad to see a place I used to really enjoy going downhill like this. At this point, I'd much rather go to Jersey Mike's, pay about $4 less per sandwich, and still get a much more appropriately portioned sandwich. We had a good run. I used to come here almost once a week for my beloved tuna sandwich. Was it expensive? Yes. Did I care? No. Because she was WORTH IT. Fresh tuna. Plenty of lettuce and tomato. Avocado in every glorious bite. Fresh bread. Generous portions. Every bite had a little bit of everything, and you could tell they did not believe in skimping. I paid premium sandwich prices and received a premium sandwich. Then management changed. And apparently, so did my sandwich. I ordered my usual last week and thought, "Surely this is a fluke." So, in the name of science, journalism, and my own denial, I ordered the exact same sandwich again today. Unfortunately, the results have been peer reviewed. The tuna is now noticeably salty and has lost that fresh taste I loved. The lettuce is sparse. Each half of my sandwich received approximately half a slice of tomato. HALF. A. SLICE. The avocado--which once made an appearance in nearly every bite--has apparently been reduced to a special guest star. A tiny sliver here, a brief cameo there. The ingredients are no longer evenly distributed, and the bread-to-filling ratio has become less "sandwich" and more "bread featuring tuna." At this price point, I simply can't justify it anymore. To add a little salt to the already salty tuna, both of my recent orders were ready almost 15 minutes after the pickup time given online. If that's the new normal, please adjust the estimated pickup time so we know when to arrive. I say all of this with a heavy heart because this really was my favorite tuna sandwich. I was loyal. I was committed. I thought we had a future. I'm going to give us some space. I'll come back in a month and see if the old magic has returned. Looking for a quick bite to eat and something "easy to eat" in the car, I came across the Sandwich Spot as I was heading out of town. About 2 minutes off the freeway, it was easy to get to and had plenty of parking in front. Immediately greeted by friendly staff asking if I had any questions and ready to make my order whenever I was ready. It took a few minutes to read though all the offerings of which so many sounded amazing. I was a bit overwhelmed trying to choose. As a 1st time visitor I defaulted to building my own. The sandwich is perfect size and kept me quite full for hours. It was delicious and I would definitely return to explore some of the pre-set sandwich options. The only downside was it wasn't very "eat in the car" friendly. The secret sauce which is a delicious garlic oil (i think) was dripping everywhere. When I finally got a chance to eat the sandwich, I was slightly disappointed as the sandwich is described as to have sliced avocado on it.
