It may also be in Capriottis bread as it did taste like an artificial type of bread. I ordered number 26, which was a roast beef, Swiss cheese, lettuce tomatoes and vinegar like dressing. The food itself was sour, but not in a fowl way. The sandwhich was about $14 and although that seems high, it was a decent size and it filled me up. The taste and texture of the food was really good. I enjoyed it. Service was average as you would expect. Nobody seemed excited working there but the food came out right and came out on time which is very important. Ambiance inside was nice, cozy and seemed calm and serene. Surround environment was okay, a parking lot with a lot of space, no graffiti anywhere or loiters. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot and not many people were around when I came. Overall, better than the other three sandwhich places mentioned in Santa Clarita, however; Las Vegas has better options and better tasting sandwiches at Greenberg. I would say of Santa Clarita, it's pretty dang good for what it is and the menu is unique with plenty of different options if you're into sandwiches. These sandwiches are not too easy to make so I'll give them that, a lot of care and ingredients required to assemble some of their sandwiches which would otherwise be difficult to make if I were to handpick each ingredient. The sauces options were vast and I would personally stay away from them as they are added calories and my roast beef sandwich didn't need it as it was already fine as it was. I'd come back again if I crave a good sandwich. One thing to note, make sure you heat up the sandwich as it is cold and I should have asked to grill it but didn't. It would have a crunchy texture to the bread which was needed. My bread was a little wet and soggy but not enough to destroy the sandwich. Great to bring a date if that exists nowadays.

They're noticeably using much less of everything (tomatoes, onions, avocado, and even the protein) while still charging the same premium prices. The sandwiches feel noticeably under-portioned compared to what they used to serve. Orders also seem to take longer now, which I can understand with a change in ownership, but the decline in quality and portions is much harder to overlook. It's honestly sad to see a place I used to really enjoy going downhill like this. At this point, I'd much rather go to Jersey Mike's, pay about $4 less per sandwich, and still get a much more appropriately portioned sandwich. Hopefully the new owner takes the feedback seriously and bring back the quality and value that made this place so good before.

I told her I already did a phone order, but would take the ticket up to the register to pay. While waiting for our order, I heard the three women behind the counter saying a number of times "no croutons," so I really appreciated that they wanted to make sure my order was accurate and they were following my special request. At 12:11pm, we received our order and received multiple apologies for the wait time. I, personally, didn't find the wait time to be horrendous, but maybe because I was mentally prepared for it. I could appreciated the customer service though! When we got home, I unwrapped my Caesar wrap and it was perfect. No croutons (as I had asked), and the chicken was warm while the rest was cold and refreshing. It was a yummy combo. I do wish that they had used some romaine lettuce as most caesar salads have, rather than the shredded lettuce, but oh well - it was still good. Later that night, I wanted to try my partner's Cabana Club, and that sandwich made me question if I ordered the right sandwich because that was super tasty too! Every time we've visited Papa's Deli their sandwiches are always stacked. I really like how they don't skimp here. It feels like they really use high quality ingredients, and I think it's a great price for the quality and quantity of food provided. The only con I have for this place is that parking seems to be a bit difficult. It always seems like it's either hard to find a spot, or the parking spots are really tight in this plaza.

The portions are very large and enough to split so go with a friend or take a couple home for the family and cut them up the way you want. There's abundant parking but limited seating so many people get them to go. It's in Seco Mini Market so the selection of chips and drinks is more than enough to make you happy.

After getting seated, I noticed on our receipt that the Sweet Potato Fries was regular size, instead of the large we normally order. I should have noticed this before paying so I went back to the register to see if I could get this changed and pay the difference. After explaining the mistake to the team member, he immediately went to the kitchen to let them know. He then said that there wouldn't be a charge. In addition to this, there's always the option to order online. My friend and I opted to eat in and were both so impressed that both our food was ready in less than ten minutes. I ordered the chimichurri steak sandwich with a side salad and devoured the salad and half the sandwich within minutes. The focaccia bread was so soft, the chimichurri was flavorful and the steak was tender. The salad was refreshing and delightful. I went up to the takeout area and asked for two boxes and the employee was prompt and polite. Overall this was a fantastic experience and I'm looking forward to going back.
