Seattle's best scam artists!!! I made an appointment for an acrylic fill with gel, even additionally booked nail art to ensure enough time. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time, but Anna took me 15 minutes late. She began the service and didn't say much. When I showed her the design I wanted, she said she didn't have enough time. This was surprising since it was a very easy design compared to what they advertise on their instagram. We looked through some other designs I had saved and settled on an even simpler design. She rushed through the art and even had someone else step in to finish. The paint ended up very lumpy and uneven. When I went to pay, they said it would be $174!!! The service is listed as $65+ with an automatic 20% gratuity. You can see on the receipt that they just typed in a custom price, it's not based on services provided from a menu. I've been getting acrylic for a decade and I've never spent that much, even with a high-end private nail tech. I genuinely believe they must post Pinterest pics that aren't actually their work to lure people in and then price-gouge them.

Poorly done nails for a ridiculous price. This was less than a week and a half ago. I was charged $200 for this set that was so rudimentary only for a thumb nail to pop off (the base stuck on???) just a short time later. They said they cannot fix the one finger. Do NOT waste your time or money with this distasteful excuse of a nail salon. I've gone to way more skilled chop shops lol.

Booked a gel service with removal. Estimated price should've been $55. Got to my appointment, and the nail lady now said gel removal was $30, French tips was 25, and somehow the total was 125. Then when I was done, the register came to 150! The lady didn't even cut my cuticles or use a finger nail clipper during my service. I don't recommend coming here unless you want to spend 3x as much as the service should be. Prices aren't valued to the website. Not a happy customer & unfortunately won't be coming back here.

I've been a customer since 2021 and unfortunately will never be returning. Despite me double tipping for an entire year, following the implementation of included gratuity- I continued to receive poor customer service. I was charged $135 for a Gel X Set (no design, 1 gel color), where I was given the wrong shape and length. This is the most unwelcoming environment, they won't even say hello to me! As a black Woman, and a girl who has NEVER complained, The disparities in customer service between black and white customers is blatant to the point where I can no longer ignore the issue. You shouldn't be leaving your nail appointment crying!!!

My first time ever getting my nails done. Sent a picture ahead of time because I wanted something specific. Never got a response for whether they could do this style. Again, it was my first time so I booked for acrylic as it was the highest price on the website and I figured if I needed something else based on what I wanted it would be fine. When I got there, the lady told me gel X would be better for I wanted so I went with that. She did a really good job w the designs but I didn't really want this long nail style :( I don't know if there was a miscommunication but I really wanted short nails. And the nail polish to have a slight raised look. Like the reference photos. Vs what I got

If I could give zero stars, I would. I had an appointment at Vybrant Nails and when I showed up, the store was still closed. The person who was supposed to do my nails arrived a few minutes after me and had to open the place -- it honestly felt like showing up to a fast food restaurant and the workers get there at the same time you do, nothing ready. I was charged $204 for a simple French tip pedicure (not gel) and a solid color Gel-X full set. The tech was extremely rude -- he told me to stay off my phone, but then answered three phone calls during my appointment, each time stopping what he was doing. He also rushed through everything and tacked on an extra $25 just because my pedicure was French tip. On top of it all, I noticed they delete bad reviews, which says a lot. I wouldn't have even minded the price if the work and service were good, but sadly it was just a terrible experience overall. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. It's crazy I had to pay a gratitude fee for horrible service which makes sense. They don't have to be nice to get a good tip. They will automatically charge you for it. In one of their responses to my sister's review she had left. They said that they had asked me if the prices were OK. How was I supposed to say no if they already had my credit card information and told me I was gonna get charged for the full service anyway? I didn't think to take a photo of my gel X full set because I was so upset and I had to get them redone by someone else right after, but I showed my pedicure below where you can see. There's no gel polish. it's just a simple white line that I got charged extra for.

Came here with a friend this week, it was my first time and I'd definitely come back! They did such an amazing job. Super detail oriented and meticulous and I'm very picky with my nails! Got the shape and design perfect! $100 + $20 tip. $70 for dip extensions + $30 for design. A little pricey but worth it since they'll last awhile (hopefully)!

I'm from Chicago and was in Seattle visiting family. I was due for a much needed pedicure and manicure since it finally stopped raining here and I got the chance to wear sandals. I was able to make an appointment easily online and there was ample street parking. My nail technicians were friendly and had the patience to my indecisiveness for nail designs. I was so inspired by the pictures they had on their Instagram. My gel extension nails are beautifully shaped and designed and my ingrown toe nails have been worked on so that they don't hurt anymore when I wear flats. I will definitely make sure to come back to Vybrant Lash & Nails the next time I'm in town!

I love the attention to detail, the design, and care for my nails!! There is a gratuity added but she was very transparent about the price from the start and what each service would cost.

I really tried to give this place a fair chance because the first time I came, I really liked how my nails turned out. Unfortunately, the 2 times I came after I had questionable experiences. Their tools and workspaces were not clean which already turned me off. The second time I came, I had HORRIBLE lifting of my hard gel within the first week and a half. (I often get my nails done and have never experienced this at another salon). The third time I went, the nail tech had to fix all of the lifting which was great, but she completely ripped my natural nail straight across when removing the past artists work. She then took on another client and had a different artist paint my nails. Fine, whatever, I was getting one color and not worried. This artist who took over painted the gel so far from my cuticle that my manicure already looked a week old when I left. In addition, it's been less than a week and my gel is lifting and peeling from not being cured enough. This is a major red flag for me because of 1) lack of quality and 2) the concern of contracting contact dermatitis from uncured gels. I'm really disappointed in this place and expect more for the prices they charge.

Cute, super clean little nail salon. I've been coming here since they opened, primarily due to their cleanliness, attention to detail, and good prices. Since COVID, I've been once and they were very careful about social distancing (I was the only customer inside), and they asked me to sanitize my hands before. Everyone was masked and payment was touchless via Venmo. Highly recommend their Deluxe Pedicure, which includes a fabulous hot stone massage :) read more

Update: this is my second set of an ombre dip and it is gorgeous The last pair lasted me a whole three weeks and was incredibly light, but durable. This time, we decided to go with a very natural ombre and minimalistic design. In person, you probably couldn't tell they're extensions because of how refined they are. got the deluxe pedicure and the products were less than stellar. stone message last all of 2 minutes. little to no cuticle trimming. they add 20% gratuity which would be grand if they did a good job- I also didn't see anywhere that tools were being sterilized. read more

This place is super overpriced and up charges for every thing they can think of. I wanted a specific design and had a picture of what I wanted. I was thinking I was going to get what I asked for but when it was time to do my polish and design I was told they dont have the color or skill set to do a simple hibiscus flower? I told her to forget the flowers. I paid for a "full set and design" and was charged for a design I never received (besides a few accents lines). They also charge for square shape WTF?? I basically walked away with a set of nails that I could've paid $50 or $60 less for at my old salon. Don't waste your money here. read more

Scheduling online was incredibly smooth and easy so when I walked in (the super cute and clean shop) the staff were already expecting me. After being requested to sanitize my hands, I was asked if I wanted plain painted nails or a specific design. I showed a design in mind and 2.5 hours later I walked out extremely happy with dip powder nails with tips and hand painted Halloween Disney themed nails. Nearly a week after I got it done, nails are still in pristine condition even after traveling to/from Disneyland. Definitely coming back for future visits! Thanks for the great work! read more

The first time I went there my acrylic set nails looked really good and I was happy with the service. After that I went there 3 more times and I always have to fix my nails at home! Or they are a sharp or with acrylic remaining on the sides. I paid a good amount for the fill and I need to finish the service at home. Julie is always super rude and condescending even when she's not doing my nails. They run 15-30 minutes late for literally every appointment. Nice new place. Went a couple times for a classic pedicure. First time I had Jolie and I don't recommend her. Unfriendly attitude and her work is sloppy. Second time, went with a friend. Unfortunately, she got Jolie - again same issues (crusty attitude and sloppy). Thankfully I got someone else, Nu, who I was happy with. I would go back but just not to Jolie. read more

The first time I got my lashes lifted and tinted here they were AMAZING. I think the owner did them that time. I went back yesterday and they are terrible. First she missed tinting the lashes on my bottom left eye, and the lift is so curled this time my lashes fold back on one another, making them look rolled not swept and open. There are other lash places that are cheaper and I expect that from them, but 100$ and I wished they were like the first time. read more

This place is great! Been wanting to try them out after seeing a friends nails. I dm'ed them a photo of what I wanted and set up a time really easily. My nails came out great (I got a dip manicure with tips and artwork) and it was exactly what I wanted. Price is so good for the quality and everyone was really nice and helpful. The woman that did my nails was absolutely the most unfriendly person I ever had do my nails. she was aggressive and did a horrible job on my nails. I had paint all over my finger tips. She also maybe rubbed my hands with lotion for maybe 20 seconds. The worst experience hands down. read more

They always help me pick the perfect color and even offer great suggestions on how to keep my nails strong and healthy. The customer service is consistently amazing, and I love that this salon is right here in my Phinney Ridge neighborhood. It's so convenient and always a pleasure to visit. The color selection is wide -- especially the OPI & DND lines, which they carry many of the trendy shades. The salon is spotless and well-maintained, and I've never had a single issue. At other places, I've been over-manicured and left sore, but never here. Tram, Annie, and the rest of the staff are absolute gems. I'm so grateful to have them as part of my little Phinney Ridge community!!

Been here a few times before without any issue and have seen Vy for several years, but today was the first time I've been back after a very troubling disturbance caused by another patron back in April. I wanted to leave this review to counter another false review left by that patron, Shawanda B. to provide the actual background that led her to leave her crappy review. (See her other probably false claim about another racist business here as well https://www.yelp.com/user_details?userid=TLT65WrktK4221_tOSfW-Q) There were about 3-4 other patrons in the shop when (who I believe to be) Shawanda and her friend came in. I was getting my lashes done in the private room and heard her first enter and immediately being very disruptive. It sounded like she was upset that her nail tech had asked her to wait a few minutes to start her appointment because she was finishing up with another patron. The situation seemed to escalate very quickly, to the point that Shawanda and/or her friend were verbally harassing and threatening not only the nail tech, but also the customer she was providing services to! I overheard the salon staff call the owner to try to help de-escalate Shawanda, and this incident was very upsetting to everyone who was present. The other customer who Shawanda or her friend verbally harassed (unprovoked) actually started crying and the police were ultimately called but didn't arrive until Shawanda and her friend were long gone As if it weren't hard enough for business owners to manage during COVID, it was utterly appalling to me how this entitled customer treated other completely faultless patrons and staff and then TRIED TO PLAY THE RACE CARD with zero basis nor justification to try to ruin this business's reputation. Too many black lives have been lost and too many people in our community and throughout the nation have sacrificed their own lives and safety to protest the injustices against innocent black people in the recent peaceful BLM protests for people like Shawanda to play the race card to justify her own damn shitty behavior. SHAME ON YOU SHAWANDA. All that said, my recent pedicure and lash fill went swimmingly. Since it was pretty busy on a Saturday, I recommend booking in advance (I believe no walk-ins are being accepted due to COVID restrictions anyway) read more

This is my second time at Vybrant and I was so happy with my services. I had got the deluxe pedicure with a new set of acrylics and nail art. My nails came out so beautiful and I definitely needed the relaxing pedicure. The technician, Anna was so helpful and understanding of the design I wanted for my nails. I will be returning regularly because Vybrant is the nail salon that always produces beautiful designs and give so so much attention to detail. Also, I am so happy to tip 20%, I ALWAYS do at all the restaurants, nail salons, massages, etc that I go to. Why is it so wrong to give hard working people what they deserve? The pricing is very fair compared to other nail salons I've been too in Seattle. I'm honestly so disappointed these other reviews for Vybrant are only talking about pricing+tip when they do a great job here and deserve that tip! My first time at Vybrant and had a great experience! My technician, Kim was very attentive of what I want my nail art to look like and I'm so happy how it turned out. Kim is honestly so talented in the work she does. I was surprised to find out they use Korean nail polish here! They really care about the product they use since I know Korean nail products always last the longest + look the best. I've never experienced such detailed and beautiful nail art at any other Seattle nail salon. And prices were so fair, it was actually cheaper than what I expected because the nail art I wanted was very meticulous. Vybrant is the only place I will get my nails done at! The style and work they put into designing my acrylic nails was more than any nail salon has done for me. I recommend this salon every time someone compliments my nails. They really care about doing the nail art right and I really appreciate it. The cost is well worth the outcome of my nails, and I always tip 20% for any nail salon for I am very glad to see it is included. Great quality work and clean salon. The staff here are very friendly and accommodating to my needs. I'm not sure about the other people reviewing this salon to be expensive when it is indeed similar prices to other salons IN SEATTLE. And I always tip 20%-25% for service workers! I work in the service industry and know it's hard work and I don't expect a tip but I will pass along when I can and know they deserve every dollar. If I am getting a $75 service, then they are worth the extra $15-$20 tip. I will most definitely be back because this is one of the only places that can do nail art to perfection! read more

I AM OBSSESSED! I feel so refreshed after getting my nails done here. Vybrant does my nail designs like it's an art form. I've been with them for over 2 years, and I am a repeat client for my acrylic fills/fullsets/and nail art. Absolutely love the salons vibe, the cleanliness, and the great service.
