They're honest with what they can or can't do so that you get exactly what you want. They also take the time to ask what you'd like, and even go nail by nail if that's you're thing, just to make sure you're happy. I don't get my nails done often because I don't find the process relaxing usually and if I spend that much time in there, I feel like I need some nail art or something I can't do at home which other places can't do intricate nail art, but this spot is perfect! Also, they were so accommodating to seat my friend and I together who got different services ie mani vs Pedi that we had such a great time that I actually found it relaxing and want to make this a routine thing rather than special treat. I've been going to Jo for a few years now, and I honestly can't imagine going anywhere else!…read more The biggest thing I've noticed is how healthy my natural nails are. They're strong, don't bend, and rarely break, which I credit to the care she puts into every appointment. She never rushes and always pays attention to the details. Jo is also incredibly talented. During my wedding era, we went through what felt like every bridal nail option possible while I spiraled over finding the perfect shade, and she was patient through all of it. Whether it's a simple set or a more intricate design, she can make your vision happen. What really sets her apart is how well she listens and remembers your preferences. She knows what shades I tend to like, remembers things I haven't loved in the past, and even little details like not wanting my natural nail to show through the dip. It makes every appointment feel personalized, and I never feel like just another client. On the rare occasion I break a nail (which is usually my own fault), she's always found a way to squeeze me in and fix it. Her customer service is truly above and beyond. And as a bonus, she's great company. If you want to chat the entire appointment, she'll happily yap with you. If you'd rather relax quietly, she's just as comfortable with that. She really matches your energy. If you're looking for someone who is talented, attentive, and genuinely cares about her clients and the health of their nails, I highly recommend Jo

We have visited this salon a few times with my daughter, and unfortunately, we've had the same…read moreissue with our gel manicures more than once. Within just a few days, the gel polish started peeling off both of our nails. The first time it happened, we didn't complain. When it happened again, however, we returned to the salon and asked them to fix it. Since the polish had peeled so quickly on multiple nails, we were concerned about the quality of the product and asked to have the polish replaced on all of the affected nails with a different polish. We were told that they would only fix the nails for free if we used the exact same polish, and that choosing a different polish would require us to pay for a new polish change. This made very little sense to us, especially since there was no record of the polish number in their system. Gel manicures should not routinely start peeling within a few days, and when the same problem happens repeatedly, I would expect the salon to stand behind its work rather than charge the customer again to correct it. Unfortunately, the way this was handled left us feeling that we were being asked to pay twice because of a quality issue with the original service. I'm sharing our experience so other customers are aware of this policy before getting a gel manicure here.

She's hands-down the most friendly, fast, and reliable nail tech I've ever had. She's always super accommodating and respectful of my time- even if I only have 15 minutes, she still gets my nails done perfectly. She never makes me feel rushed and is always willing to let me try different options and gives her honest opinion on what looks best with my skin tone. That's something I haven't experienced at other salons. I can honestly say that I always leave happy with both how my nails LOOK and how they FEEL and the pricing is fair too! She's great with designs, she's gentle when filing, and just consistently does amazing work. I recommend her 100%.

My biggest regret is not checking the yelp page and seeing the other reviews. This is the last time I will fall for an Instagram ad... TLDR this place is a price gouging SCAM This place is ridiculously overpriced. I got a hard gel manicure with a design on my NATURAL nails and it cost me $210... ridiculous. Keep in mind when I booked online it was $80 + design. Who could've known my *complicated* French nails would be an extra $130... There are many hidden fees including MANDATORY 20% gratuity that they are not upfront about at all The manicure prep was odd itself. No cuticle pushing or soaking... and she clipped the cuticles after apply the gel base already?? Lots of messy paint of skin and chips as well... I'm not saying the women here aren't talented, but I think they're charging way too much for designs you can get anywhere. I was quoted a price and then halfway through the set she changed the design on me. I wanted to leave but obviously as she had started painting I couldn't just walk out Not to mention... the brand of nail polish and hard gel being used isn't even salon quality.... It's BEETLES brand which is available on Amazon I also want to say as someone who understands Vietnamese this place is incredibly rude and disrespectful. Hearing them discuss rates so causally based on the client and not an actually system was jarring. I came by to have my nails done nautical style before a cruise, and the technician (?) was able to nail the design I wanted! They didn't do the cuticle fixing like I assumed they would. (I did get a bit of sticker shock upon seeing the price, since I'd never done it before... that "price varies" thing is really sneaky!) The only thing I really didn't like was how small it was and how strong the chemical smell in the room was (exacerbated by how small it was). If you're not too concerned about price and don't have a sensitive nose, I think this is a nice place.
