It's been a couple weeks since then and I forgot to write down their names right away (so this may be wrong), but I believe the ones who helped me were Helen and Chris! Helen was amazing and super gentle with cleaning, shaping, and doing the base for my nail polish, and Chris did the design I wanted so skillfully. Came out so cute! I started going to this establishment about 3 months ago. I had to wait over 1 hour, they forgot I was waiting or something. Several times after that I felt like they didn't want my money because everytime I call they say call tomorrow. We are busy, I call and they say the same thing. I tip well so im not sure what the problem is. No one speaks English, they are always talking in their language and you dont understand. No one is friendly. I wouldn't recommend this place. I am a cheerful giver but if no one is smiling back at you I think its uncomfortable. The inside is really dirty, the bathroom smells as well. I would not go here if you want good friend service I. I was in search of a new nail salon to get dip powder and found Vivi Nails on Yelp. I spoke to Vinh and got a quote. I was able to get an appointment. While Vinh was preparing my nails, he asked me if I had tried Builder Gel which last longer than dip powder and more selection on colors. This is the 2nd time I've come here. The 1st time to get a full set right before Easter Sunday, so they were really busy. I did notice a not so clean look to the salon, but I chalked it up to it being really busy and not having time to clean that day. I did very much like the design I got from one of the female techs (I forgot her name, but she was nice. Her service is why I'm giving 2 stars. Otherwise it would only be 1). Today I came back for a fill and the place was very dirty looking, in terms of layers upon layers of dust from filing and grinding nails. A light dusting is understandable for a busy day, but the shelves looked like they haven't been dusted in months. I was brought over to a table that had someone else's cut acrylics on it, and pieces of them were still on the towel I was expected to rest my arms on. During my fill service, the male tech was so aggressive with my fingers and ground down so close to my skin I could feel it burn at times. He also kicked his legs so far out that he kept stepping on my feet and kicking me. I also didn't notice until I got home that he had ground the entire underside acrylic nail away, only leaving the hardened powder left hanging. I wonder how long it will take me to break that off. Needless to say I will not be coming back. read more

He was also quick but detailed on my nails, asking if the shape and length was okay with me. I didn't feel rushed and that's very important to me. The nails are not thick and the gel had no bubbles. It was my first time trying somewhere new which is always risky but my experience was awesome and I'm happy to find a new nail salon. $40 for a fill btw. I'll be returning! I have been to a few in Eastvale and I couldn't find a place worth repeating. I went to Vivi nails because I couldn't get a same day appointment at my regular spot and was venturing out to a new spot with good ratings and found this gem. Vivi had 4.5 stars compared to Eastvale's 3 star rating spas and so I had some reservations- ok I'll give this spot a try. One thing I enjoyed was the quiet ambiance - I was able to hear the nice music for once! It wasn't noisy or chaotic like most spas.. Vinh took the time to create the set I wanted and took time to pay attention to the details that most places rush through. Here are a few of the professional differences he did that regular nail clients would appreciate; 1. He drilled and sanded down the the nail bed. He ensured the natural nail was cut down, clean and softened down so it's clean and transparent. 2. He sanded down the under sides of the nails that curved inward - it was thick and concave in. 3. He did 3 coats with top coat of gel nail polish. Most places do only 2. 4. He tripled buffed and ensured the nails were even and symmetrical. 5. Final touch included cuticle oil, with a hot towel to wipe and rub the oil out. I would highly recommend you to call and make an appt. Vinh is soft spoken, and takes the time to take care of your nail needs. Located at the new Dollar store center on Second st behind Jack in the Box and 7 Eleven. read more

Poorly ventilated as there wasn't any Air Conditioning on either. Service: (2 out of 5) Received a very rushed gel manicure & a rushed pedicure with few color options. It was the attitude of "these are your options, so take it for leave it". I also overheard the staff pressuring a customer to do her nails a certain way instead of an Ombré because they couldn't do it the way she wanted. Unfortunately, all the good reviews are for "vinh" who was not there. And the other staff members are not up to date with the latest trends and styles. So you're kind of pigeonholed into what they can only offer...which is deceiving from what is seen on Yelp. Payment: was requested for cash payment upon completion and charged an extra $1 for using a credit card. Overall: I wouldn't come back to this location and will continue trying other nail salons. read more
