I got my nails done here 5/21 and by today (5/26) they started popping off so easily not sure if it was just cheap nail glue, or what. Today is a Saturday and when I walked In it should've been a red flag that there were only 2 customers. One lady was getting acrylics and a man getting a hand massage. Polish changes here are $15 each so my total came to $30. I was in shock! this is the most I have ever paid for this service and I didn't know this ahead of time. If i did, I would've left. When I went to pay the lady didn't inform me ahead of charging my card you cannot add a tip on your card. I paid with credit card and she told me to go to the grocery store next door to get cash but I didn't have my debit card on me. Came here last minute. I got a French manicure. My little girls also got manis and pedis. The women here were SO PATIENT. My girls and I got exactly what we asked for. Even when my 3 year old kept asking for purple color and I wanted her to get peach, the manicurist gladly took off the peach color and put purple sewing that my daughters eyes were tearing up. I've been going here for about a year now, Nancy saved my feet. When I found Nancy I had an ingrown nail from a bad pedicure elsewhere. My feet hurt so bad I couldn't wear enclosed shoes. I use to come here a few years ago, but once I moved I stopped coming, I came back about two years ago and received terrible service when I got a gel pedicure, the nail tech who did it picked the wrong color and told me to that I had to pay change the color which of course pissed me off prompting me to not return. Then recently I decided to give them another try, I wanted a simple French pedicure with gel and ombre nails. I was told to choose my two colors for my nail ombre full set in which I did. The nail tech Linda, messed up the ombre completely and instead of being honest tried to cover up the mistake that took 2 hours. The worst experience I've had there in the 10 years I've been going , I went in for a pedicure and I brought my guy friend with me and he wanted nail designs . I walked in and asked for one manicure and one pedicure and Linda the lady at the first desk laughed at my friend. But, I have to agree with others here on YELP that it is really annoying for the workers to be constantly chatting in Vietnamese with each other when they are working on the customers. Not at all professional. Also, be forewarned: if they ask you if you would like your callouses worked on, that is NOT a free treatment, which they never tell you about until the bill arrives and you find out there is a $5 upcharge for 3 minutes of extra work....Grrrr. Not cool in my mind to get hit with these things. I've been here twice and the only thing I like about this place is that they open really early and I like to start my day looking nice and pretty of course! The service is just so so nothing really special about it and the equipment is just so outdated (talk about blast from the past!) The pedi was great, lady was nice, my nails look great. The lady doing my nails told me I needed a new set, so she took off my old set as she was cutting down my under nail she keep pinching my under skin with the clippers, and it happened more than once. I kept telling her ouch that hurt. Once she started doing the filing she was going way to rough, she actually cut my finger pretty badly.
