This place did nothing but disappoint. I asked for a simple square nails with a colorful French tip. The pic below is what they gave me. Not only did they (Natalie) do a terrible job at the acrylic, she also cut me & then had the audacity to blame me. I was so disappointed in my nails but still I paid for this botched service. After a sleepless night, I came back the next day and had Natalie redo them as best as possible. Not only could she not do a simple clean French tip to save her life, she also complained the entire time in my face. Don't come here. Go to a WAAAAY better one down the street called resort nails and spa. They took me in after Natalie messed my nails up and I wanted nothing to do with her work and THEY fixed me up (before & after pics are uploaded on their yelp)! After I even left, I called for a refund because I was dissatisfied with their work and even after I came back so they could fix it, I still did not like it. No refund was given. **UPDATE : the first time I went to this place a little over a year ago, I had no problems. It looked like an older couple owned the shop, and I had a great experience with them. I went back to the salon a few days ago (after a long time of me going to a different salon in the area), and I had an experience that was VASTLY different from my experience a year ago. First off,I noticed the interior of the shop looked different and there seemed to be all new staff and possibly new management/ownership. It was a bit dirtier and they had this strong scented candle lit. Still, I didn't really care too much about the interior because I figured that the new owners/management decided to change it up. I proceeded To get my nails done a bright, mint green color with sparkles (SNS dip). After I left the salon, I started to notice that my hands smelt odd and the color of the polish had CHANGED from a mint green to a grayish white(second photo). I immediately soaked my SNS off after I saw another person's review where they said they got a fungus infection from this salon. So, I literally had JUST had them done a little over an hour earlier and now I was soaking them off on my own at my house. I did this because I was afraid that the SNS dip they used had some sort of fungus or bacteria that caused the smell and color Change. I've gone through a lot of the previous reviews and I feel as if I need to give my take on this place. For pedicures, I would HIGHLY recommend going to Don (pronounced like John with a D instead of a J). He is the only person I trust doing my toes. I have been going to him for years now. Beforehand, I struggled to find someone that can help me with my ingrown toe nails. I get TERRIBLE INGROWN TOE NAILS. Don has never had trouble taking them out. Does it hurt when he does it? Yes a little. But I've come used to it because the relief I feel after he removes them does not compare. He does lovely pedicures and I feel so pampered. He does really nice flowers as well. If you are planning to get your hands done, I recommend Kevin. I've read previous reviews that say that he tried to rush people, I feel that in the past I have observed some instances like this, however I believe he has gotten better. I personally do not get my hands done (as I do them myself). However, my mom and my sister only go to Kevin. He is the only one that truly knows how to do shapes really well, I feel like when you make an appointment he takes more time. If you come toward the end of the night when they're closing, he might rush a little. Because they tend to stay after their closing time for people. I know many people go to nail places trying to get extravagant nail designs, this place is not it. You can get good shape, nice basic color, good gel and so on. But you will not get the Instagram style nails with lots of bling. I use to get Gel a year back and I liked getting gel here. But I would not say they are able to do those complicated designs you see on Instagram. In summary. Don is the way to go for pedicures. Kevin is the way to go when it comes to your nails. They are pretty inexpensive. I believe that's why they cannot really do complicated designs you might see on Instagram. I was in dire need of a pedicure, so I looked to yelp for the nearest salon with reasonable prices. I found this place, and it was empty, but the salon quickly filled within my hour spent there. $15 for their spa pedicure, but anyone who's seen me in flip flops or sandals these past few weeks KNOWS that I needed that extra callus removal service ($5 additional), so your girl went ahead and did that. Lol. The lady who worked on me did such a great job, and from what I could tell was not talking (that much) crap about me in Vietnamese, teehee. She was really nice, and gentle. I felt bad that she had to twerk extra hard for my dancer's feet calluses. At the end, I decided to get a gel manicure ($15) with the #112 pink color, very cute for spring. It was my first time getting gel, and I love it! Def recommend this place, it's not a high end salon, but the quality is comparable to one for a great price. I definitely will come back here if I'm ever passing through the Corona area. Everyone was eyeing my Lee's iced coffee, and sadly I had to tell them I got it from the LB area. My fault for coming here. Possibly the worst place I've been to... Asked for a full set and the guy would not let me tell him how I wanted my nails! I told him I was picky and wanted them a specific way and he kept saying he had been doing nails for 60 years and knows how to do his job. He told me not to tell him how to do his job and raised his voice at me because I asked him not to make my nails so flat and follow my curve. He said I did not know what I was talking about and my nails WERE flat...um..I think I know my own nails... Eventually yes they ended up flat and they hurt because the acrylic is pulling on the sides of my nail beds. Oh and he will cut your skin so beware of that as well..if you decide to still give them a try.
