So you may sweat a little, but, honestly, who cares. Also, as far as I know, they have not jacked up their prices. Thank god! I went to another salon that raised their prices by $8 dollars. Pay close attention if you come here or you will be scammed :-). I came in with my girlfriend and mom and automatically received awkward stares from all the ladies here, I'm assuming because my girlfriend is a masc lesbian. Only my mom and my girlfriend were having their pedicures done, I sat in a chair right next to my girlfriend. The nail lady asked if my girlfriend wanted regular or gel polish, and she said regular (twice, a second time after she tried to sell us the gel after we said regular the first time). I'm on my phone throughout the pedicure, and when I looked up, she was using the UV light on my girlfriend. I was obviously confused, but she was already putting lotion on her feet. So we asked her for the disposable flip flops and she said the polish completely dry. My mom intervened and repeated once again that we wanted regular polish, and she told us that she asked for gel. So she blatantly was saying that ALL 3 OF US were lying. She continued trying to convince us that gel was better even after she tried to call us liars. We asked if she was charging us for gel, and she said yes. She asked if we wanted her to remove it , but we were ready to leave and we didn't want any more services from them. They all spoke amongst themselves about us in their language for a while while I stood at the counter waiting to pay. I was over the situation and they obviously had no interest in resolving anything so I paid the $35 and left. Afterwards, my mom told me that the lady that was doing her nails also tried putting gel on her toes after she asked for regular, but she caught on when she brought out the UV light and had to tell her a THIRD TIME that she wanted regular. They only got my girlfriend because she doesn't know anything about nails. They're overall rude here, and the obviously only care about making money. read more

Thanks to the reviews about this place I tried them. I was very impressed. The environment was warm, not extra fancy as a distraction. Tamy did my nails today she was super efficient. She cleaned my cuticles the old school way, not just drilling my cuticles out. Prices are good. I looked around at others getting their nails done. They really do a good job here ! So it was my first time since like highschool prom since I've gotten a full-set done so give me a break on this review, haha! Came in here on a Thursday afternoon and requested to get a full set done. An older man, which was nice by the way, did my nails and communicated with me throughout the process. He took his time and made sure I got the exact shape I wanted. I ended up going with a round almond shape with black polish. The nails itself were all uniformed except one finger that was slightly off center(didn't notice until I left). Honestly it wasn't that noticeable, I myself noticed only because I was bored at work and kept staring at my hands. The only thing that I did not like about this place was some of the ladies here were grouping talking in their native language and clearly talking bad about some of the clients that come here. Called last minute hoping they could take me. This was after calling three other places and my original place not respecting my appt time so I left after 30 min waiting. They said Yes!, Come in. This was the best nail dip manicure I've received in a long time done by Yen and the pedicure was great too. I was done in one hour. The price was about 15 USD less than what I've been paying in other nail shops in the area. The shop is small but the staff is very professional, curtious and know what they are doing. I came here on Feb 9th to get my nails done for my birthday. I was helped by a lady who sits in the middle behind the pay station. I've been doing Gel X for the last 3 years and wanted to try this place out. Boy was that a mistake. Gel X usually lasts me about 5 weeks, keep in mind I work from home - the most I do is type. Over the last week as I've showered and washed my hands (not even washing dishes or submerging my hands in water), my nails are popping off like CVS press ons, you know the ones held on by that cheap little tape glue. I called the shop today to complain and was told that I could get them fixed for half the price. Not sure why I even need to pay when they literally have been falling off. What was I supposed to do not bathe or wash my hands to keep these on? I honestly hesitate to get my nails done because it is hard to find a good nail tech. But my husband wanted to treat me, insisted I go get my nails done for my graduation. And as usual I am left in disappointment and would rather spend $133 on something other than a pedicure and a manicure with the full set. So first off I had to get my pedicure and manicure done at the same time which is awkward and not a spa experience at all. My arms were in an awkward position while trying to pay attention to what the person doing my feet wanted me to do and I couldn't even feel the massage chair correctly because the awkward position I was in it was just a rushed and not a spa experience at all. Hardly any conversation went on I felt really uncomfortable and I don't understand why when getting a manicure with a full set wouldn't involve getting your cuticles cut. I had to ask the gentleman to take off my hangnails and cut my cuticles even though I thought it came along with the service. My pedicure came out pretty great to be honest even though I felt like she rushed through it and I was going to go with a French tip but instead got white. I wanted a pinkish peach color but she told me that the white French tip is more classy so I took her recommendation but now looking back at, it was kind of rude. As for my manicure / full set after I left and I was looking at every detail it was not done well a lot of nail polish is missing on the sides it's chipped, one of my nails has like a bump in it and the French tip is very uneven on a few of them and it just looks like it was rushed and it was done by someone that could care less about their work or maybe was inexperienced. And another thing that I thought was really odd was when the guy was doing my nails and we moved to a table once the pedicure was done I guess I was watching him too closely and wasn't relaxed so my finger would move and kind of get in his way so he grabs my phone puts it on the side of me and says here look at this so you don't focus on me because you're not relaxed and I just thought wow he really just grabbed my phone put it on the side of me and told me to look at my phone it was really awkward position and I wasn't trying to start conflict I was just kind of in awe of this action. And after reading all these reviews I'm not going to go back and complain because I have read that they will treat you like crap if you go back and they will charge you and it will just be more of a hassle and people will be rude to you and I'm just going to do with what I got and just never go back. And I also got gel nails and mind you my pedicure I got the $38 one plus gel nails I think she said it was like $10 more so my manicure was $75! Definitely not worth it! read more

My sister, cousin, and I went in and ended up paying $74 for all three and two of us had designs on our nails so we were very pleased with the price and extremely pleased with our nails, it's not often that we find a place that does all of our nails the way we want them. :) The only reason why this place has 4 stars and not 5 in my opinion is because of the size and the smell, it was small but it wasn't to the point where we couldn't handle it.
