I got the gel builder because regular gel does not keep my nails strong and healthy, they often break on the sides if I use regular gel. And they look the same if I used regular gel. This is the second time I come here and I'm obsessed with the work that has been done. I got a cute full gel x manicure the first time with Ana I believe was her name. Then today I got a pedi and a mani . I don't recall who did my pedi but she was really nice and gentle. Adam did my mani and I LOVE IT. I told him my previous experiences with male manicurists has NOT been good and he was the complete opposite of them. He was gentle and the work he did was amazing. Also, I don't think i've ever walked into a nail salon where I don't feel judged. This is the first time I actually feel comfortable being at one. I had a pedicure done here. The woman that did my nails was so aggressive with my feet. I thought telling her to be gentle I am sensitive would help, but it did not. I ended up not letting her scrub my feet, because I told her I was ticklish and she proceeded to scrub only the arch of the foot, which is the most sensitive part and there isn't even callus there. She used unsanitized tools from a bag that was already opened. I believe her name is Lynn. If you decide to come here, I would pick someone other than her to do your nails. She painted my nails so poorly the owner even noticed and tried fixing my nails. He then proceeded to take a photo of my toenails without even asking me! Wth was that about? The owner said, "I told you she was training", which he did not, sounding irritated when I asked if I could change the brand of polish for my hands. I was trying to give the benefit of the doubt and thought it might be the polish? I guess it was her? When I was moved over from the spa tub to finish my gel manicure. The owner did it, but before he started he brought my sandals and threw them to the floor. At that point he finished taking off my old gel polish and I just wanted to leave, they were just so rude and I was beyond uncomfortable. I tried to be as polite as possible so I could just finish the service. I ended up saying I don't need gel nails, so he finished taking off the old gel polish and that was that. They charged me 20 bucks for removing my gel polish and for my drink which is included with any pedicure. Adam asked me if I wanted my receipt, thank God I said yes. He typed in those charges and intentionally charged me this way. So, no wonder he asked if I wanted my receipt. I had to come back and ask why I was being overcharged and they couldn't figure out how to refund me so gave me $11 dollars cash as I still had to pay for the gel removal. I even tipped $5 bucks. If you are looking to relax and have someone be gentle and kind to you go somewhere else. I ended up going home and taking my polish off because I was unhappy with how it looked. I even soaked and cleaned my feet to make sure I don't get and infection from the unsanitary tools. If Pino Nails & Spa were to ever say I should of spoken up for the service, I did, in the politest way possible. If they offered to have me back to remedy the situation it would be a hard pass. I thought they were going to bite my head off if I even spoke and it was such a bad experience stepping back into the salon is never going to happen again. The owner is pretty intimidating. They did inspire me to go buy nail polish at Sally's Beauty supply and just do my own nails at home. It was right next to the nail shop. So, that one star I have to leave because I can't leave 0 could be for that I suppose. read more

Went there because they claim to properly disinfect their tools. But the service could be friendlier. They clearly have their favorite customers or tend to cozy up to customers who get more expensive services. But if you are only there for a basic pedicure they won't even smile at you and will just talk to each and laugh, making it seem like you are the topic of discussion. Other clients were being asked for their choice of beverage, I was only asked 10 mins before my service was about to end. Before my nails could even dry the tech asked me to walk without even giving me a bag to put my shoes in. Another tech pushed my shoes all the way behind the seat to make room for her cart. The owner/manager didn't even ask me how my service was at checkout. Weird and awkward vibes. read more

Went in for a hard gel fill. The person doing my nails was very rude. I asked her to trim them shorter and she said she would file them later. Never happened. Then when she was done I kindly said "Hey my right hand nails are longer than the left." She laughed and said no and didn't fix then. Then I was charged for a cut down. Terrible experience. Update: I called as they indicated in their response and now claimed that since it was past 10 days they wont issue a refund. Instead they offered a 20% discount after I told them I can't go in right now because I have a newborn. However when paying I did tell the girl that the tech didn't cut my nails down as requested so they were definitely aware. read more

Honestly not sure how this nail salon has 4.5 stars. I asked for a Gel x refill and a gel pedicure. This is the most mediocre fill I've ever gotten done. The shape is awful, the french tip is inconsistent, and i asked for GEL X FILL and she put acrylic powder on my nails before i realized it was too late to go back. She cut my finger, and my nails are literally sticky. I had numerous complaints as she was doing my nails until I was just so annoyed I stopped. I don't even know how my feet are dirtier after the pedicure than before. I asked them why my feet weren't clean when she was done (because she didn't exfoliate them) and they said I have to pay more if I want them to be cleaner. And she cut the skin around my toenails twice. My big toe was bleeding into the water. Maybe you'll have a better experience than me. But i won't be going back. The complimentary mimosa does not make up for the lack in quality. Edit: the owner has said he asked me and i said it was fine. That's not what happened. I complained multiple times and told your nail lady I didn't like the way she was doing my nails. Nothing changed and I got sick of asking her to fix it. Days later and my nail is broken.
