Absolutely the WORST SERVICE EVER! I've been calling and texting for days and there is no type of answer. I'm asking for a full set appointment and have no response. It's a little salon in Corona, it's not Beverly Hills Laqued Nails...its a small knock off. Come on, you can def. answer a potential customer. Who does she think she is a celebrity nail artist!
Well first things first this place is an absolute GEM! How you can possibly write anything negative towards this couple who treat their clients with nothing but love instead of walking dollar signs is beyond me... With that being said it's taken me 4 yrs to finally get my nails done since the last place I went to I got fungus in my index finger from that place nor properly washing and/or sanitizing their equipment So don't judge me for being skeptical Although I have to say after all the positive feed back from them I just had to try this place out Pay day was a few days ago and what better way than to treat myself to something nice like a full set of long nails? Sandra and her husband are the cutest little Colombian couple I've come across in the nail industry. They are not there to rush your decision on what to get, they have the patients to explain their products, how much everything is, and the ability to put all their time and effort to make each and every nail look FABULOUS! I've recommended this nail salon to every customer that has come into my job and complimented the art I get to call my nails. I can honestly say if you want to hold a great conversation in a calm relaxing setting you should definitely place this place on your list of places to visit You WONT regret it I promise! *they accept walk ins as well as appointments Appointments just make it easier for them to plan accordingly :)
Had a great first time experience with Sandra at Lacquer Nail & Spa! She did a great job on my nails (love them!) and pedicure, gave me exactly what I wanted. Great attention to detail, cares about her clients and doesn't just slap on a nail and color. Cares about the health of your nails, and is so pleasant. No need to look any further. I have found the perfect place!!. It's one-on-one service which is perfect for me. Don't feel rushed, I know the kind of service I will receive every time. Look forward to my next appointment. This nail salon offers the best customer service I've ever received while getting a manicure and pedicure. I've gotten service from all of the nail techs and they all do a great job. However, Kimi has done my nails more than once and I've left extremely happy. She's extremely clean, detailed and makes sure your nails are clear perfection before you leave. She even stayed after closing once to make sure I was satisfied and not once did she rush me. I will say to plan accordingly because the service can be a little longer than usual, however, it is SO worth the wait! I rather sit in a little longer and leave happy then feel like I'm being rushed out the door. They always go above and beyond to make sure that you don't only like but you LOVE your service. I asked for a polish change on my toes to now match my hands and they noticed one of my toe nails was hurting me. Instead of ignoring it, Sandy came and helped kimi make sure that it was ok and even filed them all. I am definitely a regular and will continue to be back!
OMG how did I not know of this little gem sooner!!! I've been to different nail salons left and right ( have even gone to the LA nail salons which I would spend over $100 )and I couldn't find anyone that can get the nails to how I wanted they could leave them lumpy or they would be uneven I hated it! Found this place on yelp and saw the reviews and decided to give it a shot, and they did not disappoint me I brought my older sister and she is super picky and she loved it as well! We are definitely going to be regular customers they have so many colors available in gel and regular polish and the owners are super friendly and take their time getting the job done perfectly and their nail art is sooo beautiful if you are looking for a new nail salon come to this place!!!
This place is amazing. Super clean and customer service is amazing. I honestly feel that the bad reviews on here are mostly about bringing in children. I dont understand why you would bring your children to a nail salon. Makes no sense and as a client I want to relax and not hear kids. If you must bring your kids don't expect them to be babysat for and of course they should not be touching the salons equipment. This is the first nail salon I go to that has no nail dust on their tables. I love the fact that they are mostly appointment base because they get you in as soon as you arrive. I got my gel manicure done by Sandra. She filed my nails and after finishing each hand, asked me if they looked okay. She really took her time applying multiple coats. It's been five days after my gel manicure and they have not peeled at all. Usually around the 3rd day, the gel starts to lift and tug on my hair. I will be coming back for my first pedi since this is the first place that has made me comfortable in doing so, thanks to their cleanliness!!! Btw, the guy in the front, i think his name is Mauro?, hes really nice and inviting.
First of all, this is not your typical Asian nail salon. I have nothing against them, I actually have a couple of favorite places. BUT this is by far the best experience I've had. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted by great customer service. I was very well accepted as a walk in. Did not get rushed when choosing my color or nail decisions. Sandra included me through out the whole filing process. I was able to relax and yet enjoy a good conversation. The owners honestly care about their clients and to provide the best customer service possible. The salon it's self is very clean and cute. I do not have to worry about anything being unsanitary. I think their prices are very reasonable. I don't live in the area but will be coming back. That's how much I enjoyed my experience.
I've been coming here for over a year now! I still love this place. She's very friendly and cares about her customers. It means a lot to me when someone takes the time to remember your name and remember what you like, etc. Sandra has even done my sisters and mothers nails and they all loved her and her work. If your hesitant in going, don't be. She's amazing.
since we're in quarantine i decided to message the owner/nail tech on their instagram and i wasn't sure at the time if this was an open salon or a singular nail tech so i asked, a day later they sent me "????" i was kind of confused why they did that even though they answered my question and all i said was "I was just asking a question? didnt know i was supposed to follow up" and they blocked me. pretty unprofessional and rude lol i was only asking because my mom was looking for someone to do her nails but all salons are closed due to the virus so you lost yourself a customer because you wanted to block me for literally no good reason
Sandra is by far a great nail tech! She takes her time with you and makes sure that you end up leaving completely in love with your nails. You can definitely tell she loves her job and she's just an amazing overall great nail tech. She knows from acrylics, SNS dipping powder, gel nails, anything you name it. She's amazing at designs and overall does a great job! I'm currently doing dipping powder and I've gone to her for about three months already and I have not broke a nail, had one lift, or any issue with my nails. I go in every 4-5 weeks and my nails are all still on. If your looking for a new nail tech go to her! I guarantee you won't regret it. I'm so in love with my nails! Thanks Sandra
This nail salon is THE BEST!! Sandra is so professional and kind. She listens to what you want and delivers every time.. just had another appointment and I am beyond happy with my Birthday Nails... Can't wait until next time!!
No Stars... I just needed to say how ridiculous, yet hilarious it is that he has the time to sit and in detail go back and forth w/ customers for ONLY the bad reviews for their salon. Maybe if he was trying to correct whatever issues the customers had or to see them for what they were and keep it moving. But no, he is on here being combative w/ the people who is paying his bills. Why not take the time to say Thank You to the 4 and 5 star reviewers? How about that? Bottom line... They do quality work and they cannot please everyone, but there is no need to be on here w/ attitude towards paying customers because they gave their opinion about their service in your salon. It's just absurd. You should be trying to keep ALL customers, not push them away. You will get it!
Attention Mario, I can appreciate your interst in my review since it's not what your business strives for. The problem I'm having is that you're calling me a liar because I DID in fact show the nail tech a photo from your yelp reviews, not once but twice. Both times she glanced at them and said "okay." I'd be more than happy to stop by an confirm that indeed did happen. When she asked me of I'd like to pay before starting, how did you not see or hear when I had shown her and told that my debit card was already out on the counter along with my phone? Now as far as the check in time, the paper asks what time the appt is for so yes, I did write down 12pm. And to clarify NO I did not leave a few minutes before 1pm, in fact I walked out at 1:12pm. What's upsetting now is that you're saying full set should be approximately 1hr to 1hr and 15 mins, but yet mine was done in less than 45mins. I was snap chatting my experience and luckily I have photos to confirm that I was still waiting for service at 12:20 and then took a time stamped photo once I was seated at 12:30. I have no reason to lie, infact I enjoy to review my experiences at new and familiar places, good, bad and ugly. Luckily for you, it's only a review an nothing more. I am only 1 of millions on this planet who has decided to take my business elsewhere.

Not loving this place. First and last time I come here. Customer service is ok but not great. Acrylics are not what I expected. I am sticking to my old place. Owners seem to not want anything to touch their stuff. I took my son and daughter they seemed to make a big deal because they wanted my kids to sit in their lobby and I declined. I was about to walk out with my kids and they changed their attitude and didn't seemed to be thrilled because I had my kids. (I'm not the type of parent to leave my kids unattended). Don't recommend this place. Quality and appearance of acrylics isn't great. read more

I have moved in town back in May. I've been to a couple of nail salons and I have never been satisfied! HOWEVER...Lacquer Nails & Spa is amazing!! My gel manicure came out perfect and beautiful!! My pedi was also very relaxing!!! The owners are very courteous, nice and definitely put their clients needs first!! I have FINALLY found the perfect nail salon!! read more

So I moved to the riverside area about 6 months ago and have been on the hunt for a good nail salon...I've been cut and ignored at other places and couldn't seem to find a place with great customer service! I decided to give this place a shot because it's right down the street from me and had amazing reviews- and I wasn't disappointed! The owners are incredibly sweet and welcoming and the place is beautifully clean! I had Andrea for my manicure and she did an amazing job! She didn't rush through or pull out the dreaded drill (thank goodness)! I'll definitely be back here again! If you're STILL looking for a nail salon to try- look no further! :) read more

I give this place five stars because this is my second time coming here and they did an amazing job on my nails! I was so impressed with the quality of their work for the price. Sandy took her time removing my acrylics and she wasn't a fan of ripping them off just to get done. She actually cared about the health of my nails and gave me a fresh gel manicure. They're very sweet and accommodation and even asked me if I wanted water. Now that's an experience! Their atmosphere is very relaxing, clean and neat. I will definitely keep coming back! read more

Such a pleasant experience! I could never find a nail shop closer to my home that was good. I saw all the wonderful reviews for Lacquer and had to give it a try. Sandra and her husband (didn't catch his name) were just so kind and I was greeted right when I walked in. I needed a fill. Sandra was very gentle and took her time. I did not feel rushed at all and I love the way my nails came out! Prices are good and I will definitely be coming back! Thank you for a great first experience! :) read more

So I'll begin by saying how picky I am about anything. I do my own hair, I cook my own food, an do my own nails most of the time because I like perfection to my own specificities. But I HATE doing my own nails. I have just moved to this area and I have tried two nail salons who failed miserably. Painful nail buds after,chipping early, or completely breaking within a couple of days. I work in a restaurant that can't fly. I finally decided to try another salon but only the best and five star reviews will do. So I ended up at Laquer... Omg! Sandra is the best! Not only does she have amazing attention to detail, an extensive knowledge in technique, and a sweet personality.. But she cares about how you want your nail. Time after time I have felt hesitant to ask a nail tech to correct a nail or mistake because of their attitude or reluctant behavior, but Sandra... She realizes that they are your nails and will not settle for anything less than what YOU want. I got an acrylic full set in a shape that's in between almond and stiletto, gel polish, and a design. I love this place! Finally I found a nail shop near home . The owners are very nice & great people. Sandy is very honest & does a great job . You can tell when people love what they do & she will definitely match any picture or design you want They are clean and on point . My grand total was$55 ! They deserve every dollar . For starters, I would like to mention that this is my first review here on Yelp - Yes, this place is that good, to which I had to take the time to create an account and make this my first written review. I have been to more nail salons than you could count. I reside in Corona and always found myself driving to Los Angeles, Hollywood, anywhere really, just to be even the slightest bit happy with how my nails are done. I am extremely (And when I say extremely, I mean that, times ten), picky and OCD about how I get my nails done. If I see something I do not particularly find to my liking, I mention it. I constantly found myself asking nail technicians to fix this or fix that during the duration of application. However, when I first started coming here, I simply showed Sandra a photo of what I wanted and did not have to stop her once. I mentioned to her prior that I was very finicky about every little detail, and she made sure to stop every five minutes to make sure I liked what she was doing. She is truly AMAZING. No chipping nor peeling, and nearly impossible to remove the nails on your own. I am particularly simple. I request coffin shaped, nude, long nails, just about every time I come in. I work in a warehouse, so I am constantly lifting and using my hands for everything. With that being said, I tend to walk in with at least two nails broken down the middle because I am forever dropping things. Sandra knows exactly how to take care of me, and makes sure she does so with extra care. She'll even give me tips on how to care for them further. As for my pedicures, Kim does an amazing job! At a previous nail salon, I had a nail technician use bad equipment on me, which made a few of my toenails extremely brittle. She has made sure to strengthen and be very cautious with the way she handles my toes. Too, I have very delicate, eczema prone skin, and am also currently going through tattoo removal on my foot - I more than appreciate the way she takes into consideration the sensitivity of my skin. I am so very pleased to have found a nearby place that meets all of my expectations and more. Especially a family owned business that truly cares about their clients, and greet you with such kindness upon arrival! read more

By far the best Nail Salon ive been to in Riverside. Clearly a family owned business, very respectful, clean, and very kind people. I love how they have a wide range of colors for your nails! I can also tell they are high end nail polishes. They make sure you feel confortable from the moment you step into there salon (many nail salons ive been to try to get you in and rush you out quickly). This is one of the reasons i love this place so much. They care about there customers. They take your time doing your nails, i can tell there are very talented at what they do and make sure when you leave, your nails are perfect. read more

I went to Lacquer yesterday for the first time because of the ratings. When I got there they were s little busy so I waited about 10 minutes while they offered me water and told me about their wide selection of polishes and gels. I was taken care of pretty quickly but a young Asian woman who was VERY patient and methodical. She took her time on me and made sure my nails were beautiful and the shape I wanted. She was very kind and friendly and I greatly enjoyed having her work on me. The owners wife, who's name I also didn't catch, was also very friendly and quick and did a great job on me. Everyone was very friendly and nice and made my visit pleasant. It was a long visit, but if you're looking to relax and feel pampered for an hour or so this place is great. My first time here and I absolutely loved it. Sandra is so nice and makes you feel comfortable. She does a wonderful job and is making sure you are good with the way your nails are shaped/filed and asked if there are in correction she may need to make before proceeding. AMAZING! Absolutely amazing!!! I have been trying forever to find a great nail technician! Sandy is so passionate about what she does and shows in her work. She consistent about asking me throughout the whole process how they look-to add, change, etc. Her husband did my pedicure and it too excellent. My most wonderful aspect of this salon is they COMPLETELY focus on you. Their achievement isEXCELLENT customer service and producing excellent nails. The price is great because you're paying for quality- which I personally prefer. I much rather pay thousands of dollars for a real Louis Vuitton than a cheap knock off. So if you prefer the real quality nails this with exceptional service this is the place to go. If you prefer knock offs the is not the place for you (metaphor) (price wise) As stated in many reviews before mine. Appointment is the best for the reason they solely want to tend to your needs. There are no other technicians which for me personally doesn't matter because it's the complete spa experience like getting a massage. Sandy and Maurice are above and beyond great nail techs. They are worth the wait. But that's you to find out. read more

How much does it cost a full gel mani?
It could go from $20-$35 depending of what service you want.
How much is a gel manicure?
Gel is $30, just color without designs. Price goes up depending on your requests. The color lasts 3+ weeks without chipping. I wash my hands constantly for work and use lots of hand sanitizer and I can usually go for about 4 weeks without a problem.
