I am very particular about my nails and I was in complete awe of how Lynn took her time and made them even more perfect than the place I was going to before for 8 years. Do NOT let this place fool you. I paid for a $15 soak off plus $2 card charge & the lady technician over filed my nails and nail beds to the point that they are sensitive and painful to the touch. I can't even put them under warm without wincing. Sure they're clean it seems but this salon reminds me why u don't go to main stream salons anymore & only stick to nail technicians that perform under their own. Unfortunately my nail tech doesn't offer soak offs anymore so when I need a new set I have to take a gamble on a salon for a soak off. This place was next to my work so I chanced it. Guess that was my fault. They seemed friendly and clean and as a cosmetologist I know soak offs aren't difficult & just take a little patience. They never turn the AC on. It can be 100 degrees outside and they turn on a fan. As more people come they turn off the fan and remove it. Everybody in there is hot and sweaty, not to mention miserable. When you go to a spa, you're supposed to be comfortable not miserable due to the heat. They do good work, but it's miserable when you have to sit there in the hot temperature because they won't turn on the AC. Time to find a new place read more

When I'm wrong I say I'm wrong.... Granted it has been over a decade and they have changed owners and staff probably a few times. I've been several times since the summer and Kim has taken such great care of me. The place has recently been remodeled and the new chairs and furniture are so nice and clean. I did have Jolie do a powder on my nails last time which I'm just not a fan of but it's been over a month and they haven't lifted one bit. Came before work because it HURTS so bad & is cracked on the base (they didn't use enough acrylic) & was immediately told NO, WE BUSY. No consideration even though it's only been 2 days. Always great service and welcoming when I go here. The most recent was Monday when I was in desperate need of a gel manicure and it was late in the evening. I was going to just go to a place closer to home and thought they had scheduled me and when I returned they gave me some runaround saying they didn't think I was going to come back and then had an appointment. I quickly called Sun Nails @ 6:20 and asked if they could take me right then. He said not a problem. I arrived 10 minutes later to warm welcoming smiles and was taken care off right away. I ended up adding a pedicure and both my manicure and pedicure were amazing. Tuesday I was celebrating my last day of radiation and wanted pretty nails. I am so happy Sun Nails took me because my family ended up throwing me a surprise breakfast party to celebrate. I would have been mortified had I had ugly nails. NEVER COMING BACK!!! Called and made an appointment at 1pm, because they said that is the only available time the salon had (no times available that day before or after 1pm, it had to only be 1pm). Came to the salon on time at 1pm, but they took two walk-ins before me. I told them my name and that I had made an appointment and they told me to have a seat. 1:15pm rolls by and they finally talk to me - they need a few more minutes - so I told them they are taking too long and I have another appointment at 2pm. Stopped by again at 1:30pm and all the staff, including the greeter, are still busy and give me all these excuses. At least, they apologized for being late in the end. Well, I was visiting for mothers day and treated my mom to a manicure and pedicure on Monday . I am a habitual acrylic wearer and waited to long to get a fill and broke 2 of my nails. Since I don't live in Corona one of my moms friends recommended Sun Nails and specifically Joe. The online reviews were spotty but I decided to try it based on the recommendation. - I made an appointment for a fill and pedicure for me and a pedicure for my mom . They took a us right away. I knew some of the reviews said the customer service was bad so I was very surprised when everyone was extremely friendly. Like the complete opposite of what people said. I had 2 broken nails on my right hand and was impressed with how gentle joe was in removing the acrylics. I do not have tips so the acrylic is overlaid on my real nails. I did tell him more than once that the nails were broken. They were accommodating and even allowed my mom to add on a manicure while getting our services. The place was clean and the employees were very nice. I left thinking I should leave a review because I don't understand all the negativity and I had a good experience. Now on to what I was not super pleased with. For both of us we did regular polish on the toes and gel for our nails. The nail polish I picked for my toes was "sticky " (what the tech said) and I had to wait like 20+ minutes after everything else was done before she even did the top coat. Okay whatever that's fine. I took my foam sandals and wore them home. 8+ hours later I put on shoes to go outside and come in to see my polish dented and moved . This is after it dried. Pretty disappointing but whatever I guess. Okay then yesterday (Wednesday) I notice my nail literally cracked in the same place where it was before . I am pissed because I live more than an hour away, told him multiple times it was broken and tipped 30%! Im now worried that my other nail (that was broken) will break too! I've never had this happen before and I know I did not hit the nail or anything to cause this. So was the acrylic just not thick enough to hold it? If he thought it wouldn't hold I'd think he'd tell me what he'd recommend. Now I have to pay to have someone fix this (again) and I don't even know if they can match the chrome so I might have to just get them all repainted . Overall I'm just bummed that I have to pay again to get something fixed when that's what I went for ! AND it broke only after like a day and a half!!! If this had not happened with my hands then my rating would be a 3 for the toes. My pedicure was like $35 and if the polish wasn't good then they should have changed it . Disappointed read more

I'm not a huge fan of this place. I come here as a last resort if my usual place is too crowded. My most recent visit... Water was too hot that it burned my feet when I put them in. I immediately pulled them back out. And she unplugged something, then a minute later she grabbed my feet to put them back in the water and held my feet down and it was still WAY too hot. I told her no and pulled my feet out. My feet were bright red and you could see a distinct line where my feet had been in the water compared to what did not go in the water. So then she drained the water completely and seemed irritated that the water was burning me. WTF. Like it was my fault. Then she's beating up my feet like crazy with the nail file. Drops one of the tools on the floor as she's doing it, and picks it back up to use it again........... Really now? Ridiculous dude. I just don't like this place. I've been cut here before and seem to have things always go wrong. Avoid this place if you can. Or if you're like me and can't get in at your usual place then this can be a very last resort if you're in dire need. read more

So I got acrylic nails for the first time in my life last Friday... and they came out beautiful but they were pretty long and I was having trouble with stuff like typing and managing contacts and earrings... so I came here for an emergency fix today on my lunch break. The lady did an AMAZING job on my nails!!! She was really quick and filed them down PERFECTLY... I love the shape. They still look really pretty, even though they're a lot shorter now. She was also very honest when I called ahead to ask about services and pricing. She told me the tips of my nails would look clear if I filed them down... which they do, but tbh I don't really mind... it's just SOOOO nice to have the use of my hands back again! Made an appointment with a specific nail tech and she was 20 mintues late and someone else started my nails. When she was ready to paint them had the nerve to ask if someone else can finish. All because they had walk in who didn't make and appointment. KEY WORD APPOINTMENT! I took the time out and preplanned to ensure I got the tech I liked. Most places take care of customers who make the appointment not this place! I have paint and super glue all over my fingers and the paint job was done so rushed they are streaked and look awful.
