This is my favorite place to go for Vietnamese food in the area. Stopped by last night for dinner with the family. We ordered Bun bo Hue, HAINAn chicken rice plate, Pho, and vermicelli noodle with grills pork/egg rolls. After we ordered, the chef actually came out and asked if we want to try 2 of their new appetizer items. We were so delightfully surprised since we've never had this experience before. The 2 appetizers were Banh Beo Chen and crunchy pork wraps. We didn't regret, they were so delicious. We will be back for sure! read more

I think that this place is a hidden jewel among the city of Arcadia. I always order the (I believe it's number 26) which is a marinaded beef combo plate, that includes rice, shrimp, salad and an egg roll. It's super inexpensive and very tasty.(not to mention the massive portions!)I don't get how people sort of don't share the same enthusiasm for this place as I do. I would chose this place over Panda Express or any of those asian fast food places. The people who work there are very friendly, and already know what I want to order (my usual) Perhaps the Pho isn't the best, but I would highly recommend the beef plate. Prices are okay - about $20 for two regular size pho bowls, egg rolls, and two drinks. Cash only. this is a quiet little pho restaurant in arcadia. my boyfriend and I decided to try it cause I was craving pho and this was near the mall. The portions for the pho were huge! they give you quite a bit but i guess thats why it cost like 6.50 for the bowl. I had the pho tai and the broth was pretty damn good and rich. This obscure little place is hidden away in a CVS plaza at the corner of Naomi and Baldwin. Why this place has Lousiana-styled food is beyond my understanding. Because I am not too fond of Pho, I decided to look at other items on the menu. Cajun Fries with Lemon and Ranch??? YES PLEASE! And it was really impressive: not too oily, and perfectly crisp. I also had a Vietnamese sandwich, which was offered at only 2.95! Not entirely special, but not a rip-off either! :) It was a perfectly sized sandwich for the appetite that I had. You can choose from different kinds of meats. Slow service, somewhat reserved waitresses -- but hey, I don't mind the privacy. I'm not sure if there are really cockroaches at this place, so I can't really comment on that. But the plates and utensils looked pretty clean, so I wasn't left with a bad impression. read more

THE WORST VIETNAMESE FOOD IN SAN GABRIEL VALLEY Came here only because the ramen place next door was closed. Wife ordered the pho. The broth tasted like toilet water. The noodles right out of the package. Flavorless pho. I ordered the spicy beef soup. The soup was a big bowl of fish sauce with some beef that was hard and tasted like leather. My sentiments about this place is pretty on par with some of the other reviewers on here. I come here because of location rather than taste. When I'm craving pho and don't feel like driving deeper over to the San Gabriel area-this is where I go. The pho is just ok-pretty mediocre (not as flavorful and more expensive!) compared to the more popular Vietnamese places. Other than the pho, egg rolls, and spring rolls I haven't tried anything else on the menu. Perhaps I will sometime! Until then, I think 3 stars fits this establishment. read more

Since I got back from Vietnam, I have been craving Banh Mi like crazy, so I decided to check this place out. The interior was a little rundown but to my surprise there were plenty of customers. I ordered the Chicken Curry Banh Mi (Sandwich). The baguette was flakey and crispy just like I love it. The meat was cooked to perfection, very soft and tender. The curry sauce was very flavorful and savory.The entire sandwich only costed me 3.95! I would definitely go back to this place. By the way, the Spring Rolls are to die for! read more

Happened to stumble across this family owned pho restaurant while in the Arcadia area. We initially wanted to go to another ramen restaurant around the corner but the wait was too long and we wanted to eat. We were able to find parking immediately in front of the restaurant. When you first walk up to the restaurant, it is rather small but a cool little ambiance. We checked in with the gentleman and we just had to wait for them to clear off a table. We were seated and ordered Thai teas which were fantastic and highly recommend. We then ordered the fried egg rolls and pho combination soups. The egg rolls were great, full of filling/meat and enjoyed it with the lettuce wraps and vegetables. The soup came out scolding hot and loved that I was able to add my own spices, hoisin, bean sprouts and lime. The broth was tasty, noodles were good, the meat was decent quality, but I just wish there was more meat inside. Felt like they went a little light with the tendon and beef. Maybe next time I can ask to see how much it is for extra. Will be coming back here soon to give it a second go. Prices are definitely reasonable. read more

I went on my lunch hour and ordered Pho. There was only 1 waitress and she was busy and made the drinks, after customers had to remind her. I noticed there was a wait for the Pho and another customer who was there before me, hadn't gotten served yet either. I wouldn't go back and would drive further to Golden Deli. read more

I'm glad I came here before reading all the other reviews!!! I'm no pho connoisseur, but to my taste buds the pho, spring rolls and appetizers I've ordered have been pretty tasty. It's always the same waitress at lunch and she's quick, knows exactly what I usually order (pho with rare beef and chicken) and is very responsive. I've never been disappointed with the quality of the meat, and the dish of basil, sprouts, lime and jalapeno slices seems pretty standard. I've only gone at lunch during the week so maybe my experiences differed from the other reviewers. (But I probably go there every two weeks!) It is a small place and they usually only have one waitress, so when it's crowded it can take awhile to get your food. read more

This was my first time trying Pho, and I have to say it was a positive experience. I'm not sure if the staff speaks English, but it didn't matter. They got my order right and were very nice.
