I ordered Bun to-go and they 86'd on the egg rolls so, they just gave me a bunch of beef. Honestly, it wasn't that great. I've definitely had better. I ordered my food close to closing, so maybe that's why I didn't get what I expected?

A pretty decent pho/Vietnamese restaurant. It was empty when we arrived on a weekday for dinner. The service was very friendly, and the staff spoke both Vietnamese and English. The menu is quite large, offering a little bit of everything. Here are the two items I tried: Bun Rieu - This was pretty decent. I liked the ground meatballs that came with it, and the flavors were good. There were tons of noodles--I couldn't finish a large portion. Reasonably priced. (4/5) Hainan Chicken Rice - This was also pretty decent. The chicken was fresh, and the rice was flavorful. The soup that came with it was tasty. Overall, a solid dish. (4/5) Overall, this is a good spot if you're looking for Vietnamese food. Prices are reasonable, and the food is tasty. It also comes with iced tea! Note - They charge 4% extra for credit card payments, so bring cash. Parking - Large parking lot, so it's very easy to find a spot.

I was craving chicken pho since it was a chilly morning so I stopped by for early lunch. The restaurant is pretty small. They also had a large family dining when we arrived so most of the tables in the restaurant were used for that family. The staff quickly cleaned a small side table for us but unfortunately it was right by the door so every time the door opened, chilly wind would blow in. Service: The staff working were pretty friendly and accommodating. For some odd reason, they said they were out of stock for many menu items. We ordered half a chicken, a plain noodle, and some steamed rolls. Food took a LONG time to come out. It was also pretty strange that our noodles came out last. We were halfway done with the chicken before the noodles came out. Food: I really enjoyed the noodles and the chicken. The broth from the noodles was very rich in flavor. But I think the highlight was the chicken. The chicken was so tender! It was a little on the bland side but nothing a little sauce can't fix. Overall not a bad first time dining here. I think I will definitely be back to try them again and hopefully not catch them during their busy time.

Closed on Wednesdays. Cash preferred, credit card accepted. Friendly. Cooked to order, so be PATIENT, or order over the phone for pick up. To-go portions are generous compared to other Vietnamese places.

Mien Ga! I asked for chicken thighs.

Chicken was filling and good. The soup was good but needed some touch ups. Service was friendly and attentive, love that. Very casual ambiance and small. I was hoping it was the chewy glass noodles, but they gave me regular thin mung bean noodles, maybe they don't have the glass noodles anymore? But other than that, it's a nice spot. Very generous on the meat!

I love the Bun Bo Hue, the serving is large and extremely tasty. I also enjoyed talking with the owners, they are very warm-hearted and the love shows in the taste of the food.

Came here for lunch after bowling in the same plaza. Thanks to Yelp for sending me here. Really is like home cooking! I thoroughly enjoyed my bun thit nuong with egg rolls. Big portion and super fresh! Everyone else enjoyed their food. Small restaurant, food cooked when ordered so have patience. Highly recommend!

Ordered some dishes to go. Showed up on the quoted time but had to wait for awhile. Order was packed neatly. I liked the flavor of the curry chicken, but there were lots of tiny broken bones in there so I had to eat very carefully. Chicken gizzard was dry and hard. Chicken pho was decent. Meat was tender but soup was light. Beef pho was my favorite. Deep flavor.

    Short ribs unbeatable

Due to Covid19, did they provide any hand sanitizers to both employees and customers? And did they remove all the utensils and sauces from the outdoor dinning tables to avoid too many "hands touching?"

Last time I went I saw that they had put up an automatic hand sanitizer dispenser provided for customers. There are also hand sanitizer bottles up front on the table. They also have removed the utensils and sauces from the outside tables, and bring… Read more

Proudly making everything by hand, their limited number of Guan Tang Bao prone to early weekend sell-outs, it is after a bit of scrolling that in-the-know diners will note an Ingredient-focused approach including Kurobata Pork for a richer Xiao Long Bao. 谷巷里 in Chinese, the owners of Jirong Roast Duck Restaurant opening Good Alley in September of 2024, additional plates well-suited for solo diners include a simple bowl of hand-pulled Noodles slicked in Scallion Oil with Vegetables or the faultless Beef Roll wrapped in Roti-like Pancakes plus one of several Slushies or Teas to drink.

There was plenty of parking as it shares the same plaza with Golden Delight and 888 Seafood. Good Alley serves a fusion of North-East Chinese/Shanghai dishes, primarily focusing on common favorites: XLB, noodles, simple stir fry dishes, cold dishes. Overall, this place is good but nothing special compared to all the restaurants with this theme. The taste profile outside of their signature dishes is basic and their prices for common ordered items are quite high. For example the $12 pork burger, which is insane for what it is worth. Food Pork XLB - the XLB was pretty good overall, pork soup had good flavor, but the top pinch of the soup dumpling was too thick . Hot & Sour Soup - on the light side, wasn't hot (pepper) or that sour. Beef Noodle in Clear Soup - the soup was the star, clean and beefy. Beef was tender and had good portion size. Noodles well overcooked and lost its bounce. Angus Beef Stir Fry Noodles - overall flavor profile is good, noodles doneness cooked perfectly. Pork Burger - crispy Muo bread, good amount of pork stuffing with some crunchiness from the peppers. Beef Rib - this was the dish that brought it up to 4 stars. Beef rib was perfectly cooked, seasoned perfectly and the sauce was amazing. Service was very efficiently and professional, everyone seemed friendly. Host greeted and seated promptly, waters/beverages followed almost immediately. Empty dishes were taken immediately after completion and they packed our leftovers for us. The overall interior is modern and has a little bit of an upscale vibe, seems to be the trend with these new stores serving similar restaurant concepts.

I'm shocked this place has such a good yelp rating…read more Pho was good, 7.5/10. Meats were soft and cooked right. Broth is on the lighter side but still good. Noodles were thin and cooked properly. The bone rib was a hard miss. It was very chewy and almost hard, as if it was old. Cooked a while ago and sitting for someone to order it. The rib itself is 4/10, if 5/10 meant acceptable. I ONLY recommend this spot if you're on your lunch break and gotta stay in the area for work. Otherwise, you should make the drive to eat better. I assume the good rating they have is due to lack of competition in the immediate area. They have a B rating as if 9/25/2024! 1.5 years and they still haven't made the effort to get right? I've eaten in many hole in the wall spots and have pretty normal standards for cleanliness as I understand how things get. But this place made me feel dirty. I'm a dude who can just stand and piss over any drain, but the restroom was disgusting. If my family was with me I would feel horrible allowing my wife or kids to have to use it. Washing your hands would make you feel dirtier, that's how bad it was. Bottom line. 6/10 If you must remain in this area, go for it. The pho is good enough. If you have options and time 4/10, steer clear from here until they put in the effort. If the bathroom didn't gross me out so much, I woulda took a photo.
