Vic recently installed a mini split system in our guest house, and I couldn't be happier. His pricing was fair, he worked thoroughly and professionally, and the result is excellent. read more

Our air conditioner went out last night on the hottest day of the week of course. I put in a service request with our home warranty and they dispatched VHP. I called them right away to set up an appointment. He said the soonest would be at least Saturday maybe even Monday because they were booked understandably. So, I said please call me if anything comes up. He called me back an hour later and said they had a cancellation for the next morning and I was so surprised. He came out on time this morning, assessed the situation and fixed the problem right away and noticed something else that needed done and took care of that too. Very professional, efficient, and great customer service. Would 100% recommend. read more

I was introduced to this HVAC company through my home warranty company. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations since my past experiences with home warranty referrals haven't always been great. However, Vic completely changed my perspective. From the very beginning, Vic was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem with my split AC system. Throughout the process, communication was excellent, and the scheduling was flexible and convenient. What I appreciated most was how smoothly Vic handled the home warranty process, making the entire experience stress-free. It's refreshing to work with someone who is honest, skilled, and genuinely cares about providing great service. I highly recommend Vic and this HVAC company to anyone looking for reliable, trustworthy, and professional HVAC service. read more

Says it is a 24 hr service. We put in a call with our home warranty mid day today and have left several messages with no response. How can you say that you are a 24hr service and we get no response? Meanwhile we are in 100 degree weather, with animals and we have yet to get a call back. read more

BEST OF THE BEST! In my 50+ years as a general contractor, architect and forensic architect, and 80+ years as a homeowner, I've worked with some of the best HVAC contractors in Burbank and the entire southern California area, and these guys are THE BEST! Vick & his team are trained engineers of all aspects of air quality and air-handling mechanical equipment. Last week we needed an expert heater repair contractor for our home in Burbank, so we went on Yelp to find one, VHP jumped off the page, given the high ratings. Our rooftop HVAC/heater had recently been repaired by a contractor sent by our home warranty company, It stopped working after a few weeks, so we made a call-back. The same contractor came out and decided that the system wasn't repairable and had to be replaced. The home warranty company denied our claim. At that point, my wife and I had to buy inefficient space heaters to remedy a very cold house. AND, since we didn't trust the warranty company's choice of contractors, we contacted VHP. We were truly impressed by the honesty, thoroughness and skill of Vick and Arman, who repaired our heater and also completely cleaned the entire duct system. We like them so much that we joked about adopting them. Today, our home is warm, air-balanced and we aren't coughing from dusty air. What a GREAT experience to find our FOREVER-HVAC-REPAIR contractor right in our hometown. read more

VHP Air Conditioning & Heating - Allegedly "UNREPAIRABLE" control system, successfully REPAIRED by VHP. - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Burbank, California

I hired VHP Air Conditioning to install mini split in the guest house and it's been really great to work with. Vick came to my house and explain everything regarding the installation, described clearly all the options and took time to answer all my questions. Vick and his team are very knowledgeable, professional and provided kind, honest and efficient service. I would highly recommend VHP to anyone looking for dependable, outstanding service and will certainly use them again! read more

Came to my house to do a service maintenance for $79.99 but in reality nothing has been done!!!

VHP was wonderful and I am so happy I called this terrific, family-owned company! They take pride in their work, are friendly, responsive and have high professional and technical standards. They want to solve problems and will take the time to do that. VHP repaired an elusive pinhole leak in my A/C and Vick pointed out 2 mistakes the original installer had made. He took photos of everything and explained their technical observations of all my system's components. After another company pressured me to spend thousands of dollars to rrplace all, VHP instead presented me with an honest and realistic expectation of my system's lifespan pending a repair here and there. I now hope and expect to get a few more years out of it!!! read more

After our heater went out, I took to Yelp to find someone with good reviews and a high rating to come out and take a look. Vick and associate were very prompt in replying, and arrived at the house 1 hour after my initial call. I can see now why VHP has 5 stars across the board; not only was the issue fixed, but once they came down out of the attic, Vick explained to me - in great detail - why the issue occurred in the first place, and that whoever had set up the system in the first place did a less-than-ideal (I'm being kind; I think Vick's word was "terrible") job, and how it could possibly lead to future problems. I've read in other reviews for VHP that he did the same for other customers, so It's easy to see that Vick is very knowledgeable with regards to his craft, and out of care and concern, feels compelled to let you know how things stand with your setup. I appreciate that level of professionalism and customer care, and wish that all service techs whom we employ would be so thorough. I can't speak to pricing, as it's been 5 years since our AC system was last serviced, but the fee seemed more than fair, especially for the level of care that Vick demonstrated. Without question we will call VHP from here on out for any AC issues that may arise. read more

I was referred to VHP Air Conditioning and Heating through my general contractor, so this provided me with confidence in their services from the start, and I was pleasantly surprised when my expectations were exceeded. Our old HVAC needed replacing, so I got quotes from 4 different companies. VHP was a standout in every way! Vick is the best. The other companies were difficult to deal with, overpriced, didn't follow through, and even a bit shady. Vick is knowledgeable, efficient, detail oriented, fair, professional, tidy, and reasonably priced. There is really no reason to waste your time with any other HVAC company. I am so relieved to have a reliable person to take care of this important system in my home. Thank you, Vick!! read more

Harut and his team are a godsend! They fixed our heating unit and made sure our AC unit works. No other technician that came could fix it, but they figured it out. They took their time and made sure the job was 100% complete. I highly recommend them. They're also very sweet, friendly and honest. Many thanks for their hard work! read more

VHP Air Conditioning & Heating - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Burbank, California

In short VHP was amazing and highly recommended but in details here's what was going on. Our thermostat broke down and the company who fixed it before VHP wired the connections wrong. The furnace was not working and turning the AC on instead. Our winter was freezing basically. Vardan and Harout from VHP scoped out the problem and quickly found out what was wrong and fixed it. They re-wired the thermostat and made sure the furnace was working perfectly and stayed until the temperatures were correct and all checked out. They were very responsive and came on short notice. They were very respectful kind and had a great demeanor. I loved the service and will continue to use them for our AC/heating needs in the future. read more

VHP Air Conditioning & Heating - Business Card - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Burbank, California

From start to finish, VHP AC & Heating was amazing. Our furnace has been broken since Thanksgiving. American Home Shield sent out one company (Active) who misdiagnosed the furnace problem and another (Air Shield) who wanted us to replace 3 parts out of pocket for $1700 or the whole unit for $6700. Mr. Harutyun came, diagnosed, and had our furnace fixed the following day with warranty approval. Extremely honest and friendly. Thank you for bringing warmth back to our home for the holidays! read more

Incredible. I was sent probably a dozen HVAC companies to try and fix my mini-split system by my home warranty, each in turn looked at the system and siad "Ah, we don't work on those, sorry." VHP was the first team to look at the system, say "I've never seen this before, but give me a bit and I'll figure it out." There's a deep understanding of not just the systems but the underlying engineering that's involved. VHP has gotten me out of several jams including my 93-year-old grandmother's AC suddenly dying on one of those 100 degree California days. I can't recommend VHP enough. read more

We had three other HVAC companies, which all sucked, and did not fix the problem. They said there was nothing wrong with the system, it was too old, or it was "fixed" when it wasn't. We called our home insurance and with luck, we were matched with VHP Air Conditioning & Heating. Not only did they fix the problem, but they checked our furnace and were the only company that explained how our air conditioning system was connected to the furnace (because it's old). They replaced the condenser coil and put freon in the unit in case it ran low since summer is around the corner. I cannot recommend VHP enough. They actually fixed the problem and I'm grateful that my insurance was able to cover the cost. read more

This was the BEST experience I have ever had. They are professional, honest and do amazing work. My home insurance sent out another contractor who made a wrong diagnosis, I asked for a second option contractor and got VHP AIR CONDITIONING. Not only did they say the other company were wrongly charging me for work that was not needed, but they finished the diagnosis and completed the work in the same appointment and saved me over $1000. The best, Never going to any one else. read more

If I could give VHP 10 stars I would. Father and son team very professional, honest and most importantly on time for the scheduled service. Vic and his father I highly recommend they did an outstanding job!! Great service! read more

VHP was the absolute best. We needed to replace our outdated system - we first talked to a few other companies who were much less professional, less organized, and more expensive. Thank goodness we found Vick! VHP was punctual, professional, and extremely knowledgeable in the area, including having an in-depth understanding of the science and engineering aspects. He helped us understand the different options for heat pumps in terms of cost and efficiency and didn't try to upsell us on anything. Their quotes were cheaper than our other estimates and they came back afterward to double check we were 100% satisfied with everything. We'll definitely be calling Vick for all our HVAC needs in the future! read more

Harut was very great! He was helpful to me, I had a few people come try to fix my a/c and wasn't able to fix it. Harut was able to fix it within the hour. He's a very good guy and very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend you use him if you have any a/c problems. read more

6 stars!!! Family owned business, these guys are like the Gordon Ramsey of Air conditioning! They can come off strong but it's only because they passionately care and do only the finest work. They fixed our vent that was deemed unrepairable by a trusted friend who works for the clippers maintenance team. They educated us on what the problem was and how to maintain AC. They were very honest, quick to respond and hard working. I highly recommend this business. Thank you!!! read more

I highly recommend VHP! This is my second review for them, based on a second job that they did. This current job was for my mother's AC unit. (I previously posted an equally positive review for the work they did in my own home.) Harut (the company's owner) saved the day! We discovered that my mom's AC unit wasn't working during the recent heatwave. The temperature in her condo had climbed to 89 degrees! My mom is in her 80s, so the temperature was obviously a health concern. Harut and Vick (father and son team who own VHP) made a point of scheduling my mom's service in between clients, during the long weekend, despite their packed schedule. Harut fixed the AC, showed me the problem, and was fair and transparent in pricing. I've used VHP twice now in two different homes, within a matter of weeks. Across the two homes, they've fixed both a central air system and a multi-zone mini-split system. They are honest and knowledgeable. I'll continue using them for my AC needs and will recommend them to friends/family. Many thanks for your good work, Harut & Vick (& Oren, apologies if I've misspelled your name)! read more

I had 2 different problems 1A capacitor on my upstairs AC unit. guys came out found the problem really quick, very professional gave me a great price didn't feel like I got gouged at all. Then a couple months later my downstairs heater was cycling off and on and they came out and Troubleshoot it and found a blown capacitor in it also and once they replaced it problem was solved. Found it very quick again gave me a great price. We'll always call them for any future problems read more

We got linked to VHP through our home warranty and we had a really great experience. We're first time home buyers and whoever installed the AC unit in our studio did a very poor job and it was broken after one time of use. Harut and another very nice man came and solved the problem which needed up being a leak in the actual AC unit causing all the Freon to leak and the pump was also not working. They fixed both in the same day and I had a working AC! Extremely grateful to this company and to Harut and the other man whom I sadly didn't get him name! I recommend them very highly! read more

I can't say enough good things about the tech who came to our house. Our AC went out in the middle of a heat wave and our 2 year old son is a transplant patient with tons of medical supplies that would be ruined in the heat. The Tech squeezed us into his busy schedule and then refused to give up on our ancient system until he got it working again. To be honest, if I had been in his shoes I would have just said it needs to be replaced. But he knew that replacement would take a few days and so he worked tirelessly to figure out a way to make this thing work again. For reference, he said it's the oldest AC system he's ever seen in all his years on the job. Yikes! Thank you for caring about our situation and putting in so much hard work for us. We're so lucky our property management chose your company! read more

Absolutely the best service I have ever had. Our A/C started acting up on an extremely hot evening. VHP came out the very next morning. They were honest and helped me to understand what exactly was going on with my unit. He also explained to me how to keep it running the most proficiently as well. I would 100% recommended this company to everyone. I am so grateful. Thank you VHP read more

We had a failure of our ac unit - it turned out to be an issue with the zoning board. We had called out several companies before VHP, and none were able to fix it. VHP was our next call - and what a breath of fresh air ! First - they have been on time for every visit, second - they inform you of the whole process, and keep you in the loop as to what is the next step, third - their level of knowledge- certainly of our situation- was detailed and accurate. They fixed the issue without fuss, extra expense or drama. I highly recommend them - a superb company and staff. They should be your first call. read more

My 2-year old air conditioner stopped cooling my house. VHP was able to quickly diagnose it as leaking coolant, welded the crack, pressure tested it, and refilled it...all in one morning. My air conditioning units were not functioning. VHP was very diligent in resolving the problems with the units. He stayed with the problems until they were resolved. We found a leak in the closet where the furnace is which soon began to leak into the room next door. The home warranty reached out to VHP and they sent over Vick and Harut. They are a perfect family team of father and son who showed us exactly what they were doing every step of the way. They were able to locate the cause of the leak which turned out to be a clogged pipe due to a 90 degree angle. They replaced the entire pipe with a brand new one and explained how this new 45 degree angle will allow the water to flow easier out of the house. They even screwed together a part of the furnace that was poorly taped together by a previous technician from a different company. Harut was nice enough to provide a pipe that we needed for something totally separate from the furnace. Overall they did an amazing job and we are very pleased with their service. Would highly recommend them to anyone. read more

Do NOT look anywhere else, they are EXCELLENT and final solution. Harut and partner came this morning to service my AC unit. Within 5 minutes, they diagnosed the problem. Immediately, I realized that our other yearly service calls did the bare minimum. Experience, knowledge and integrity is what they offer. Amazing. They set the standard for business service. Thank YOU! read more

Our A/C gave up and died the first week of Sept 2022 during the heat wave. We called an AC repair company and they could not fix it. They proceeded to sell us a $16k new HVAC system.
