When it comes to work done in the home, you don't just want anyone coming in. Emin is professional, upstanding, came highly referred, told you like it was and was even willing to work with you in pricing as best as he could. He came on his busy days when our AC suddenly stopped working just so that we wouldn't be without on a hot summer day. His team is just as great. Can't recommend enough! read more

Emin saves the day again! I have a rental with a 20 year old HVAC. Found Emin on Yelp March 2026 when the upstairs AC suddenly stopped working, and Emin was there right away and was able to diagnose the problem, replaced a capacitor and got the unit working again. Then the downstairs AC wasn't cooling last weekend. Emin wasn't available so I called another contractor who took one look at the video of the furnace making weird noises and concluded the motor needed replacing, but that he couldn't find the motor anywhere, etc etc and it was such a hard push for me to replace the whole HVAC. After 24 hours of this hard sell on what was going to be the hottest day of the week, I took a chance and called Emin for a 2nd opinion. And miracle of miracles he looked at the video, found the part, and was at the property in 30 minutes. My final bill was a 10th of what the other contractor was selling me! Thanks so much Emin for being so honest and straightforward in a business that can be so full of scammers. You are a cut above! read more

Just felt like writing an update for Emin's - one of the best AC vendors we've ever had for our house in Pasadena. Have been using Emin's for 15 years and the service remains fantastic and reasonably priced. Highly recommended. read more

While watching our friends house their air unfortunately went out. I called Emins and their representative on the phone was extremely kind and told us she'd give us a quote shortly. Between that call and them showing up it was less than an hour! During a heat wave I couldn't have asked for better service. Emin was extremely kind and helpful. Talking us through every step. Great service. Highly recommend. Thank you again for your speedy service and kind customer service. I hope my friends continue to use you in the future! read more

Placed a call this morning for an AC unit making a weird sound when it was running, they were able to come within the hour. Got it fixed right away. They were on time, courteous and ac is running great! 10 out of 10. read more

Emin and his team have been servicing our heating and air conditioning needs since we moved here in 2010. He is always honest and will never upsell you anything. We recently had to replace our 20 year old air conditioning unit and it was so easy to work with him. He was even able to add an extra vent in our kitchen to help keep the kitchen cool while cooking. He has been great all this time and is always the first person I recommend when referrals are requested. You can't go wrong with Emin read more

Emin came quickly on a hot sunday when our AC had stopped working. He did a fast and solid job.

We woke up this morning to find our thermostat/AC had seemingly died. After troubleshooting on our own to no avail, we were referred to Emin. Emin arrived within two hours - and on a Saturday. He was warm and friendly and quickly diagnosed our problem which had more to do with a plumbing issue than the AC itself. Not only did he repair our bathroom sink and have the AC running in no time, he was also extremely kind toward and patient with our 3 year old who wanted to watch the whole operation up close. When our toddler followed Emin out to his truck, Emin generously took the time to show her all of the storage compartments for his tools. Not only is Emin an expert at what he does, he is also a lovely person. He has our highest recommendation and he'll be our first phone call for all future HVAC needs. read more

UPDATE: Emin has kept my AC running for over a decade. He's has always made time for my me, and usually texts me back within 15-20 minutes, even on weekends. Every estimate and service was fair, honest and reliable. June 3rd, the AC unit he's has kept going for years finally gave up the ghost; it wasn't producing cold, and was leaking, so it was time to purchase and install whole new unit. He worked with me to find the right unit for my budget and needs, not just the most expensive option. We got the new AC delivered up to onto the roof and installed quickly. But even more, when a sensor went bad yesterday, and the cold stopped again, I gave him a text message. Not 30 minutes later, he had already responded that he'd be by tomorrow. He had the sensor replaced under warranty before the day got hot. And that's why I've always relied on him to keep my place comfortable: friendly, reliable, trustworthy service. read more

Amazing service by Emin. He was very communicative, professional and fixed my HVAC quickly.

Emin is purely just a great human being! He is honest, transparent, and will make sure you are educated regarding your HVAC purchase. Our A/C unit in Glendale was the original unit and finally died out. Emin quoted us with a very fair price for install including the crane lift to the roof. He was able to schedule us very quickly within 2 days into a canceled appointment slot and we were up and running with a new quiet machine and super cold air! Don't hesitate to call Emin for your install - you will not regret it! read more

I reached out to Emin to get a quote on installing a mini split on my house. Response time was very quick and he was able to stop by shortly after. We discussed my needs and he shared just enough options that I did not feel overwhelmed or pressured with choices. I went with Emin's because he seemed knowledgeable, the price was fair, and I felt safe and respected as a female homeowner. Emin and Angel came by today and installed my unit. They were both so courteous, working quietly and efficiently (they didn't even scare my cat!). I am happy with my unit and the installation. I definitely would recommend Emin's. read more

I had trouble with one of my ac units and Emin was there within the hour ! Very professional and kind. My ac is running great.

I called here today after my A/C decided to give out. It was hot, and my place was stuffy and gross. A nice gal answered the phone, and he was arrived at my house within the hour! The job was quick, and he was in and out with my house, being cold and crisp! Service here is honest, fast, and efficient. A+ read more

Emin and Marie were very helpful with scheduling to come out to us on the same cold day that we had a heating problem. Emin was honest and knowledgeable. Today of all days our heat went out! Didn't know what we could do, but I knew I couldn't handle tonight with some heat! My husband remembered Emins who is local. He contacted him at 11:50. Although he was working a larger job in Sherman Oaks, he made it to our house by 3:30. Checked our heating system and made some recommendations. Minor it turns out. Luckily he had everything on hand and completed the job in about 40 minutes. I now have heat and a brand new thermostat. read more

My HVAC quit heating on Christmas Day. A friend recommended someone who turned out to be a handyman and that did not go well at all. I then decided to check Yelp and as a result of what I read, I reached out to Emin's Air Conditioning. My experience from the first moment I reached out to them has been outstanding! I got a prompt back and Emin himself came to investigate my situation very quickly. He was able to identify the issue and provide a solution efficiently and thoroughly. What really stood out to me the most is that he had such an honest approach and also went the extra mile for me as a customer. He not only fixed the problem, but identified a potential future issue. Apparently I had been using the wrong filters for my particular HVAC. He advised me to change the filter as soon as possible, and even provided a link to where I could purchase the correct filter online. It has been several weeks since he fixed the HVAC and I could not be happier! We started using the filters he recommended and I do see an improvement there as well. I feel like the work he did was a great value for the money he charged. I highly recommend Emin's Air Conditioning. read more

Our Air Conditioner was not blowing cool air. We messaged Emin's through yelp and we received a response within 10 minutes. They were able to get a technician out to our house within 30 minutes. Highly recommend Emin and his team for your ac and heating needs. Our unit wasn't going on today and when I called to schedule an appointment, Marie picked up the phone immediately and was courteous and attentive. She was able to reach the crew on the field and gave me estimate window that was only 30min from the time I called. Emin reached my home within an hour of that phone call. He immediately got to work trying to find the source of the issue. A tripped power source possibly coming from an old compressor, which pulls more electricity than usual. Thankfully, he doubled checked wiring, tightened things up, checked my frion level, etc. Friendly, warm, and professional. I'm just happy it's cold in my house right now. Will call again whenever I need his help. read more

When the heat hit a record high and our AC gave out on a Saturday, I was in full panic mode. I called Emin's AC and to my surprise, they were at my door within the hour! Emin quickly diagnosed the issue and, unfortunately, discovered what he described as some of the worst AC installation work he had ever seen. He didn't just explain it -- he took clear pictures and walked me through exactly what was wrong in a way I could understand and trust. It was clear the entire interior setup had to be redone due to the original installer's careless work. Emin and his crew returned the following week and knocked out the job in just a few hours. They were efficient, professional, and meticulous. Before leaving, they made sure everything was functioning perfectly and that I was comfortable with how the new system worked. What really stood out was the honesty and integrity Emin brought to the table. He wasn't trying to upsell or pad the bill -- just focused on delivering quality work and making sure we were taken care of. If you're looking for an AC company that truly cares, works fast, and gets the job done right the first time, Emin's AC is the one to call. They've earned a customer for life! read more

Emin did a great job fixing my AC! We had a broken motor blower. He had the order the part since it was not available locally and constantly updated me via text/phone call about the tracking of the part. Once it arrived he came right away to install! You won't find a more honest, caring and comprehensive company for your HVAC needs!! Back story: We tried turning on our heater a few weeks ago and it shorted immediately. The air conditioner worked fine a few months back. We called our home warranty company (American Home Shield). They sent a technician out who quickly looked at the control panel and found that it had been corroded from some water leakage. (AHS) denied the claim, so I asked for a second opinion through AHS. They sent another technician out from a different company who saw the corroded control panel but did a bit more evaluation to look for the source of the leak. He thought it may be due to a drip tray that was cracked or similar. He stated we would need to replace the coils and control panel at minimum. He submitted the claim to AHS who once again denied the claim due to "secondary damage". I asked the second company for a quote to repair the parts, with them saying we can repair your parts but it would be better long term to upgrade your system through AHS special upgrade program. I said OK give me a quote for both the repair and upgrade, but they kept pushing for the upgrade...for $10K. I decided to get a quote from a company outside of AHS and the technician took a quick look at the machine and said I would need to replace the whole furnace and condenser, quoting at minimum around $16K. I went with my instinct and got one more evaluation with Emins Air Conditioning and Heating...and they sent Angel. Angel was amazing!! He is a former Navy technician and his attention to detail and comprehensive work ethic shows. He took his time looking at the machine and actually tested everything out to see where the actual problem was with the control board. He also searched out a leak, using his detective skills to work backwards and find where it originated from (a hose that was previously cut and had been leaking likely for years). He talked me through everything he was doing so I could understand as well. He found out that I would just need to replace the hose, the control board, and a capacitor for a reasonable $1K. He didn't have the parts with him so he drove to get them and came back that day to fix the problem. He also consulted with his boss when needed to make sure the job got done correctly. And once he got the heater working, he went through several safety checks to make sure everything turned on/off properly. Angel (and Emins) were fantastic. They did not come in trying to make a quick buck. They were comprehensive, efficient, honest, and caring. Emins should be the first (and ONLY) place you should look for your HVAC needs. read more

We just had Emins replace our 20-year-old AC unit with a heat pump. As always they were prompt, fairly priced, and attentive to detail, even checking to make sure that we were okay with the exact placement of the new unit on the pad. They updated all the connections into the house. Our attic has always been tricky to get equipment into and they had the idea to simplify the access by switching to a larger ceiling air return which they did at no extra charge. I never felt like they were trying to upsell, they gave us options, then put in the new heat pump, tested it, and were on their way. It was honestly a great experience from start to finish, particularly with communication and making sure we're happy, as it has been in the past. Great business! read more

I had reached out to a few HVAC contractors for advice about what level filter my HVAC system could handle, and most of them responded with an expensive quote just for that advice (even though it would require no parts or labor). I was frustrated trying to find an answer until I contacted Emin's -- who were so helpful!! Emin asked me to send photos of my vent and then took the time to advise me on filter options. He was kind, patient, and answered my question without trying to make money off of me for it. After this excellent customer service and knowledgeable advice, I will absolutely be hiring Emin's for any future HVAC service or repair needs! read more

The fan motor for our air conditioner went out last week. Called a few places - one could not come out for a few days, one did not return our call. Emins came out the same day we contacted them and within the time frame they said they would arrive. The technician, Angel, was professional, polite and very knowledgeable. Burned-out control panel. He was able to get a new panel and install it the same day. We were up and running in an hour and a half. Highly recommend! read more

We knew we needed a new AC before another scorching summer. Called Emin's AC and the boss man himself came out to look our situation over and give us an estimate. While talking through what work needed to be done he said they had all the parts in stock and could be there the next day. I did my best to keep my jaw from dropping. We were expecting this to be weeks out if not more. Sure enough, the next day the crew showed up, on time, professional, did everything they promised and a little bit more at no extra cost to us. Absolute A+. There's a reason Emin's has so many stellar reviews: they've apparently earned them all. Could not recommend more. Emins Air Conditioning and Heating - Isn't it a thing of beauty? - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Glendale, California

I've been a repeat customer of Emins for the past few years. Each time, Angel has come onsite at my rental as well as our own home. He is thorough, transparent, and clearly communicates the findings and issues every step of the way. I needed them to check on the AC unit as my tenants said it wasn't cooling. It was either a thermostat issue or possibly something bigger. Angel came out, climbed on the roof to check on the HVAC. No issues. He checked to see the unit in the attic. No issues. He checked the old thermostat and that was the problem. Thankfully I purchased a programmable Honeywell thermostat. It was installed and Angel patched the area as best as possible to cover any openings from the old round, mercury thermostat. I just need to touch up with paint. I know the quality and service of this company and it's why this is like my 5th time hiring them. No upselling, no funny business. Just thorough and fair pricing. Marie is always helpful in trying to accommodate and schedule service and Angel is courteous, careful with his tools and equipment, and truly a professional. read more

Pros: very nice. Responsive. Came on time. Brought necessary tools. The technician's boss was involved via phone and providing support to trouble shoot the problem the technician accidentally created (not related to my original AC issue at all). Cons: my capacitor was out, which I knew and told the technician within 5 minutes of him being there. I thought my $150 service charge would include getting that $39 part replaced (which literally requires changing out pins by hand). No more than 5 minutes required. They wanted to charge me $400 for this. I know inflation is high but this felt like price gouging to me. Only reason I hired them was because I didn't want to wait 2 days for Amazon to deliver the capacitor to get my AC fixed. Joke is on me since I lost $150 and had to wait. Next time I'll just wait. read more

Here is the big review Emin! Our 30 yr old Furnace finally broke in the coldest winter of recent years. We got 3 estimates, before my husband decided to hire local 5 star company Emins Air conditioning and heating. The team came at 7:30am sharp just like the appointment time, they worked non stop until everything was done! The furnace is working great except a little noise when starting, we emailed 3 days later, Emin showed up in 20 minutes and checked to make sure everything was fine ; the diagnosis was the grill issue and easy fixed. Now we are completely trust Emin and the team, I will recommend all our families and friends for this company! By the way, Emin is easy to work and has a great sense of humor! read more

So I recently had a big project regarding a complete replacement of an AC unit and part of it was located on the roof. It was one of the hottest weeks and I needed this done ASAP as I was receiving complaints. I searched around for many different places to look for multiple estimates. Out of everyone, I found Emins to be the most reasonable, and since it was going to be a big project, I wanted to make sure I could find someone who was verified, trusted, and reasonably priced. He was able to do it so quickly before the long weekend and I was able to keep everyone happy. He was also communicative and let me know during the entire process. It only took a day or two to have everything completed and the new AC was better than expected. I will definitely be using him in the future for my other properties as well as my own place.
