He adjusted the air intake -- a known issue with these furnaces -- and it has been running perfectly ever since, with noticeably less noise during ignition. We had Orion replace our entire heater and AC last year in June and have had consistent issues with the sensor on our heater. They came out a couple months ago (several visits in a week) and again this morning, the sensor is having an issue. I noticed my home was not cooling properly about a month ago, so I put in a service request through my insurance company($100 fee). They assigned Orion to come do the repair on my AC unit. I was called by Orion to schedule and they gave me a day and time. On the day they were scheduled to come I received a call telling me they had to reschedule. When they finally came they checked the system and determined a repair had to be done, which they did. Its been only a little over month and the AC unit is not working again. I called Orion to come and check the system again and I was told by Orion that since it has been more than 30 days I would have to go through my insurance company again. I had to put in a new insurance claim and now waiting for Orion to come and fix the unit again in only 35 days since initial repair. I will update review upon completion of repair read more

Tim help me install an in-line fan boost the AC onto the second floor. During the summer it gets so hot on the second floor that I can barely be upstairs. Now with this remote Wi-Fi controlled in Line fan extra air condition received from upstairs makes it so nice. Great service. They were very prompt. read more

Quick to resolve our problem and arriving for a same day inspection without any hidden charges, Yury was extremely kind over the phone as well. After a few different companies came to inspect the problem and provide an estimate we ultimately decided to go with Yury and his team. Victor the manager was not only accommodating but also quick to schedule us for the installation fitting us in during what was a very hot summer week. We didn't know what to expect after our 17 year old AC rooftop unit gave out in 90 degree weather and not only were they fair and transparent in price from the beginning, they use housecall pro which sends texts updates to provide scheduling confirmation, photos of the technician arriving beforehand as well as invoices by text with an option to pay online, Apple Pay or credit card -appreciated the seamless and convenient process. On the day of the installation, we were kept in the loop and detailed photos were provided upon request. Rather than lay out all of the logistical obstacles during the estimate, they were quick to assess, they ordered a new unit (didn't cheap out on the brand/model) and then day of, they installed within 5 hours. Talk about a team that seems very cohesive and not only dealing with customer inquiries, but scheduling, and workmanship. They provided me with excellent service. They helped me decide on the best equipment for my needs, dealt with the insurance/warranty company, and kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. The team that they sent to my home for the installation was so professional. They made the necessary modifications, had superb attention to detail, and made me feel that my requests were important to address. The suggestions I made for them, since this is my home, and I know it better than most, we're taken, with a sense of care and understanding. They were so thorough in making sure that everything was done right. Victor even checked my ductwork for proper airflow and patched up a few spots. I feel very comfortable and confident, knowing that my HVAC system was installed properly and with care. UPDATE: additional work was required including replacing an outdated vent pipe on the roof with a new metal one with a wider diameter to allow better airflow for venting. Do not trust Orion to go anywhere near your home or touch any of your appliances. These people are shady crooks who refuse to provide me with a report regarding fixes to my AC and Heating unit. My family has been suffering through extreme heat with no AC for days. There technicians were in my garage and on my property and they refuse to provide their report. We need this report to submit an insurance claim. Yury refuses to cooperate with me and has avoided my phone calls. I have tried calling multiple times. I am now forced to include Orion in a lawsuit as they have caused significant harm to my family. In my last call with Yury he was very rude and argumentative and told me to shoot a video of me taking my pants off and posting it online. My HVAC needed full replacement since it was 30 years old and was unreliable and not worth repairing anymore. I received 5 different estimates for the job and Orion HVAC was the most reasonable by far. (from 1-5k difference). They arrived as scheduled, worked for about 12 hrs. until the job was done, cleaned up and left. Victor was in charge of the team and seemed to know what he was doing. This was the WORST experience I've ever had with a vendor. We were assigned Orion through American Home Shield. They didn't submit reports in a timely manner, then when they finally did the repair, they replaced our 3/4HP blower motor with a 1/2HP motor. When we said that the air wasn't working as well as before the repairs they got angry at us and left the house. They were supposed to coe back out but never came. I called my own guy to do a service call, and he said they never installed the right capacitor for the motor either. AND they tried to scam us into paying $700 for a maintenance that we didn't need (our usual HVAC guy usually charges us less than $200 for this kind of maintenance). They told me that we needed freon and when my guy checked the freon was fine. They are liars and scam artists. DO NOT USE read more

Our heat had been intermittently not working and so I contacted 6 businesses on Yelp for quotes to come out and asses the problem (and fix it). Yuri the owner reached out within the hour (despite it being 6:30 am on a Saturday when I initially put in the request) and by 9 am, he sent two servicemen Victor and Olec out to our home in Altadena to inspect our HVAC unit. Within 30 minutes, they had fixed it. It ended up being a dirty flame sensor that needed cleaning and so Victor used the appropriate tools/materials to finish the job and do it right. They ended up only charging me the rate for the service call which was extremely competitive and reasonable. I was beyond impressed by not only Victor's professionalism (they wore booties in the house the entire time) but also by his honesty. He could have easily said I needed a new flame sensor and that it needed to be replaced. But he didn't. He just fixed the problem and did so with integrity. Thank you Orion HVAC for helping us out and getting back our heat. We can sleep soundly again this evening now that it's fixed. Also, thank you Yuri for being so responsive and supportive in delegating our request as soon as possible. Many other companies wrote back and said they couldn't come out until Monday. So the fact that Orion got someone to my place within 2 hours of them contacting me is pretty remarkable for the Los Angeles service area. All in all, 5 star service and highly recommended. Felix is top-notch! We had a previous person come out to look at our heater and ac since both were broken upstairs and downstairs. Unfortunately the previous technician couldn't fix everything as our systems are extremely complicated. When Felix came, he figured out all of the problems and was able to talk with our insurance company to get everything figured out. He is very patient, friendly, respectful, and professional. He could understand all of our frustrations and did an excellent job explaining all of the issues, and then fixing them. He came out two different days due to not having all of the parts needed and not having all of the approvals from the insurance company, but both days he was excellent! I would only ask for him again since I trust his work and judgement. He also explained to me that when the heater isn't run as frequently bugs can sometime want to find a home in your furnace in the attic and mess with wiring (YUCK!). Okay so we have been getting our AC serviced from the original company that we purchased our unit from. So for five years this nameless company came and went and didn't do a darn thing. Our brand new AC never worked right. So we decided on calling a local company and Voila! Orion is here to save the day!! Victor came out promptly at 9:00am. When they told me a technician would be here between the hours of 9-2pm. I would never have thought that someone would be out so fast! To my utter amazement here he is texted 30 min before and was at my door! That's service for you.
