My old HVAC was old and dying so I wanted to upgrade to a modern heat pump to save on energy costs. Burbank water and power is also offering a $3k rebate so i thought the time to buy was now. Rafik provided a competitive bid but what i really appreciated was his diligence meeting my specific needs and transparency. The rebate required a long list of requirements and Rafik provided every one. Overall the experience was better compared to the last company i used via Costco. read more

We had used this company for some fixes to our old central heating and cooling system in the past. Finally we decided to replace our old system with new mini splits through out the house and we are so happy we did! They did a fantastic fast and clean job removing the old system and replacing it. Great communication throughout, fast turn-around, high-quality equipment, and totally worth it. They are honest and fair and we will continue to use them for any repairs that we need in the future. read more

Here we go again, Summer is upon us, and my AC decided he can't take it anymore ;). I've contacted a few companies, and I came across American Clean Air and Heating; talk to Rafik, and let me tell you, this guy knows what he is doing. He told me the problem with my unit and didn't try to sell me what I didn't need. My unit was very old, and I had to replace it. His price was very fair, and his service was amazing. The job was very clean and professional, and he had the respect to me and my house, making sure every step they took they cleaned, every place they touch they cleaned after, its hard to fine today companies like that they treated my place like it's their own place. Highly recommended Thank you so much for helping me with this project and making it a breeze :) read more

This business has one of the best services, customer service, and quality I've experienced. Rafik, the owner, dedicated time to understand what exactly I wanted out of a conditioning system and made sure it happened within the short timeframe I wanted. He is hardworking and reliable. I had a lot of questions since I wasn't familiar with air conditioning systems, and he was knowledgeable enough to explain everything in a language understandable for me. The quality of the installed conditioning unit is also impeccable. I would highly recommend this service to any one living in Southern California! You'll feel at ease with this quality service and installation! read more

Of course our AC stopped working in 100 degree weather on a holiday weekend! Called a couple of companies, but no one would come same day except ACAH. We were very thankful Ash was able to solve the problem. He changed the capacitor and cleaned the unit and our AC was happy again, which meant we were happy again. :) read more

Our AC started dripping water and it had pooled in the space beneath the coil and furnace. We were referred to Raffi and he was able to send a technician out the next morning which was extremely appreciated given the heat wave at the time. The tech was thorough and explained everything that he was doing while hoping it was a simple fix. No such luck as the system needed a new coil and condenser. Raffi came out himself the next morning to check it out and gave me an estimate and options to help with our budget. We decided to replace the whole system and also redo the ductwork. Raffi was able to move things around and squeeze us in 2 days later. The team started early morning and was able to complete the project in the afternoon. Amazing work! The new system works more efficiently and the whole house cools much faster. Highly recommend Raffi and his team. read more

It only makes sense your trusty A/C would wait until it is over 100 degrees for a couple of days to take a nap. After sending daughters to neighbors and setting up fans downstairs we survived the night to find out Sunday morning that we are predicted to have the hottest day in history that day. We called American Clean Air and Heating for emergency repair on Sunday during Labor Day weekend. Ray and Vic showed up and quickly replaced capacitor and older fuses and were nice and patient explaining each step of the way despite working in historic high temperatures outside. It was an emergency call during a Sunday and a holiday weekend to boot, so it was a bit expensive. But as a family with children and dogs we are lucky enough to live with it. I have asked ACAH to put me on a maintenance program to start the summer with a refreshed system. read more

When Murphy comes to visit you couldn't ask for a better company to help you with your air conditioning needs. Came home tonight, after a stressful day at work, to a house that was air conditioned when I left this morning and not so much at 7:30 pm. I googled air condition repair Burbank and accidentally found American Clean Air and Heating. Called them not expecting anyone to answer and it was answered in three rings. The lady on the other end was kind, courteous and professional and had a tech call me back in 2 minutes. They told me that could have someone to My house by 9 pm. Ash showed up, early, couldn't be nicer, knows his stuff, and diagnosed and began repairs. He is in my attic now (9:30 pm). And am convinced I will be sleeping in an air conditioned home before the night is out. Kudos for a job well done. I recommend Ash and the extraordinary company he represents and works for without reservation. read more

Rafik came an hour after I called, made me a good deal and was back the next morning right on time and did a quick and clean installation of the new furnace. He even made changes to the old installation that no technician ever mentioned. It's been three days and the new system works perfectly. Much quicker heating than before. Very pleased with the whole thing. It's now almost three years since Raffik installed the new furnace. Still working perfectly. read more

I called this company to check the problem with my old HVAC unit which was not cooling. The owner (Rafik) came and took care of diagnosing the problem. Rafik is truly an expert HVAC professional and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended! read more

My Air Conditioning Unit was tripping my breaker constantly. I contacted my warranty company and they sent guy after guy after guy who kept blaming it on the electrical, and back on the condenser, and then the electrical again. Finally, they gave me the go ahead to contact my own guy, and that's how I found Rafik. He was able to determine that it was the compressor and that my unit was closed to 20 years old and could do with an upgrade. Instead of swapping out the compressor, which would have caused further issues, he did a full replacement and worked with me on the price. He was straight forward, extremely informative, and got the job done rather quickly. He does amazing work and his team is super professional and helpful. I highly recommend Rafik and I plan to use him again for all my air conditioning and heating needs. read more

He quoted me a price I agreed and he was on his way to get me the replacement part. I had a great experience with American Cool and Heat. I highly recommend their central air conditioning services. I originally had an unsatisfactory experience w this business but the owner called, apologized, explained the situation and insisted on refunding me. Since they spent the time to come out I told him it's fine do not send the refund. I hang up and forgot about it. He sent it anyway. I will not be cashing the check but this to me shows pride in customer service. Trustworthiness is something this business definitely has and it made me rethink the minor sour experience and turned it into a positive. Old school good customer service. read more

Disappointed with the level of customer service, which is surprising given the very high rating. (Makes you wonder if the reviews are real?) I made an inquiry online, explaining my issue and noted that this was NOT an emergency. The only response was "we are booked." I thought this was an odd response but replied when they would have another available time. Again the response was "we are booked." Not quite sure what to make of a business that doesn't want business, but, ok. read more

I had driven up from OC to a relatives house and their heater wasn't working. My family always relying on me to get things done asked me to research a company that can fix the heater. I went on Yelp as I do for many things and started researching. American Clean Air and Heating popped up and I saw that they had 5 stars so I decided to give them a call. They were prompt with their scheduling and actually found time to make it that day. They then proceeded to check what was wrong with the system and explain to us so we could get a better understanding of what went wrong. Then they also let us know of the options we had in order to get it fixed. Not only was that helpful but it shows they care for customers and what they're spending. They got their job done in a timely manner and provided great customer service! I would definitely recommend them and give them a call if you need any heating or air conditioning services! read more

What a great find! Was referred by our neighbor after we were having problems with our a/c unit. It turns out that we never replaced our air filter (lesson to all - regularly replace your A/C filter so that it doesn't blow out your motor) since we moved into our home about 2 years ago and therefore our motor was working against a clogged filtration system. Needless to say we had to replace the piece. We contacted Rafik late at night on July 4 and he was very prompt in his response. He had his colleague Arturo come out the next day promptly (even earlier than planned), was able to diagnose the problem and after a few hours, our A/C unit is now working again in the midst of our heatwave. Arturo gave us some pointers on how we can maintain our home so that we don't run into this problem again. So glad we have this small business around. They did a fantastic job - would highly recommend! read more

Had heating go out on one of the coldest nights in LA (yes it happens), called Saturday night and they sent tech Sunday morning. Arturo was wonderful and thoroughly reviewed and found issue (fan motor), was able to repair and explained everything . Didn't feel pressured to replace full unit but gave us all options. Definitely recommend this local company. read more

I highly recommend that you hire American Cool and Heat for all of your AC Repair Services. The Central Air Conditioning system went out at my parent's house, and they were the first company to come out the same day to fix it. They showed up on time, they provided us with a diagnostic soon after, and gave us a proposal on the spot. We agreed to the price proposed, and they had the unit up in no time. They were Professional, and Fast. Pricing is reasonable, especially for an emergency. Thank you Rafi for your quick response, American Cool and Heat knows what they are doing. Give them a call for all of your Air Conditioning Repair, you will be amazed by their fast response, and for delivering what they promise. I've referred them to other family members, and they as well are happy with their work. I will definitely be contacting you in the future if any problems that may arise. Great service. Quality workmanship. Courteous team. Highly recommend. Over the summer, our old AC was clearly not cooling our home. American Clean Air and Heating answered our call and was there within a couple hours to service our machine. Their service brought the AC back to life - better than it had ever been - though they recommended replacing our heating and air units as soon as we were ready - they were very old predating our purchase of the home - very inefficient with potential health and safety issues. A short while after the technician left, I received a call from Rafik, the owner, asking if we were happy with the service and if we had any questions. He offered more info about replacing our equipment and pledged quality work and the best equipment, but it wasn't a hard sell. We took our time and did our research. Rafik came back when we called and confirmed a quote while onsite. We found the quote to be competitive. Rafik worked with us to schedule the work, arrived on time with a courteous crew who did quality work quickly and took care while working in our home. Rafik prides himself in his work and it shows. Again, highly recommend. read more

American Cool and Heat did an amazing job with my central a/c!!! With this crazy Los Angeles weather, it was raining last week and then Wednesday and Thursday it is boiling hot, and of course my central a/c goes out. It was a little later in the day but Raffi and his team managed to make it out on such short notice. Within minutes of being here he figured out what the problem was, he gave me the estimate and he was off to purchase parts and take care of the problem at hand. I highly recommend this team who are willing to come out to you right away. The price was affordable, and the overall experience was amazing. Now I can come home after work and relax comfortably with the a/c on blast and just enjoying life. Thanks to Raffi and his team for fixing my a/c unit! :) read more
