We had a great experience with Dr Dryer Duct. Daved, the owner, and his son came out to our home and did a thorough job cleaning our very dirty dryer duct. During the service, Daved noticed an additional repair that needed attention and took care of it right away. What impressed me most was his honesty and professionalism. He honored the original quoted price and did not try any bait-and-switch tactics or surprise us with hidden charges, which is unfortunately rare these days. Daved was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly takes pride in his work. I highly recommend Dr Dryer Duct to anyone looking for reliable, trustworthy dryer vent cleaning and repair services. We'll definitely use them again in the future. read more

Wow!...What service!...Our dryer has been operating for years on substandard air vent flow until Dave and his son, Jeremy, visited our home for the first time. Dave retrofitted my dryer connection into the wall so that it allow for sealed airflow without allowing lint to escape into our wall for so long. He and his son use a specialized spin device that removed lint stuck throughout the entire air vent. My wife and I thought we had it under control but we were certainly wrong about that. For this reason, we will be calling Dr. Dryer Duct yearly to do their thorough cleaning of our vent for our dryer's efficiency and peace of mind knowing that any fire hazard is minimized by the quality service that is received. Thank you! read more

Dr Dryer (David and son) are amazing. From the moment I spoke to David on the phone, I could tell that he was professional and honest. We made an appointment and they were on time, even texting me to tell me they were on their way. David did a superb job cleaning the dryer duct. He is one of the most respectable, professional, kind and honest people I have met. Upon leaving, he gave me some helpful hints about dryer safety. Call them. You will not be disappointed. read more

Have stacked dryer washer with a non-standard vent. Dryer has been struggling and making angry beeps for a while. Called around and Dr Dryer Duct offered both the best price and to come and diagnose my dryer vent status for free! David and his son Austin did a professional and diligent job, went above and beyond what prior duct cleaners have done. They also did so at a fair cost. Very pleased. Will be calling them again in a year. read more

Daved (aka Dr. Dryer Duct) was fantastic to work with. He was able to custom-make an adapter for my dryer vent to properly connect it to the wall in my condo, which was not a straightforward setup. He also thoroughly cleaned out the dryer vent. He was very professional, honest, punctual, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. Everything was done cleanly and efficiently, and he took the time to explain what he was doing. I would definitely work with him again and highly recommend him to anyone needing dryer vent service. read more

We just moved to our first home and want to make sure we are taking care of the appliances and eliminating any potential fire hazards. Since we had such a favorable experience with the dynamic duo a few years ago at our old place, we didn't have to think too hard about who to hire to address our current dryer duct! Making the appointment was easy and straightforward with a quick phone call. I appreciate the simplicity because I am so sick of online schedules and going back-and-forth through email or text with people! The gentlemen showed up on time (was able to accommodate an earlier window being ahead of schedule) and had all of their gear ready to go! I sincerely appreciated David answering all of my questions re our new systems and educating me on the different types of ductwork too! He is extremely kind and relaxed. Genuinely cares about his craft and stands by his work. And for all of the cat parents out there, my "fur son" typically hides when strangers or loud noises happen, but nope - he was watching the entire time! He was so interested in his son! Hehe Clearly good vibes! The world would seriously be a better place if more people were as sincere and hard-working as these two. Especially as a new homeowner, I feel like a lot of various vendors and service providers have been trying to take advantage of us but not this company! Transparent and consistent = high value! read more

We are extremely happy we found Dr. Dryer Vent (Daved and Jeremy). From start to finish this was an excellent experience. I would recommend Dr Dryer Duct if you want your dryer vent cleaned. Dave and his team (consisting of Jeremy - his son) were cordial and professional. They were knowledgeable and helpful. They were also able to replace my entire dryer duct because a portion of it was previously damaged. They did a great job and cleaned up the laundry area just as they found it. Dave offered competitive pricing for the entire work! Thank you Dr Dryer Duct! read more

I finally found a local dryer duct specialist I can trust. After a frustrating experience with another company (Optimal Air Systems INC), I am so glad I found this business. Optimal Air Systems used oversized screws that penetrated the duct interior, creating a permanent lint snag and a significant fire hazard. They also surprised me with huge hidden fees. Unlike many others, Dr. Dryer Duct is a legitimate local company, not a lead-generation site that often employs bait-and-switch. They are fully licensed and their pricing is very reasonable. Daved (Owner) was very transparent--he actually lowered my price because the job requirements changed. It's hard to find this kind of integrity and fair pricing. Save yourself the headache and book with them directly. Highly recommended for any homeowner or landlord. read more

Daved has come to my house for duct cleaning a few times, and each time he comes I am reminded why he's the best. He keeps the client up to date in terms of his arrival time, he does his job thoroughly and carefully, and cleans up after himself. Dr. Dryer Duct is the best. Prompt, courteous, cleaned up after themselves. 6 out of 5 stars.

Great job fastest service. Highly recommended for cleaning up the dryer vent. Arrived on time and completed the job thoroughly.

Daved Ventura and his son have a wonderful family business Dr Dryer Duct thoroughly cleaning dryer ducts from inside and out, reducing fire risk by eliminating built-up lint in the duct. They are on time, efficient, and vacuum and clean the area from any flying lint and dust after the cleaning. Great value for the price and the excellent job done. Highly recommend. read more

I had a really good experience with this company. It had been at least 10 years since we had the dryer duct cleaned out and with all you hear about house fires, we thought it was time. They were very responsive and came the same week we called. Although we didn't think we had any problems, turns out, there was a place where the duct had separated and all the lint was getting blown into our garage attic for I don't know how long. They climbed up into the rafters, handed our Xmas gear down to us and fixed the problem, so it was higher than the original quote. $204 out the door (including the base fee of $129 + the repair). Plus I was impressed that they sent the before and after photos to show what's going on. Highly recommended! read more

Our brand new dryer started showing a d80 error so we called Daved to come and check it out and clean our dryer ducts (we definitely knew it wasn't the dryer as we had only used it a few times prior and before that we didn't have laundry). Daved and his son showed up right on time and promised a flat rate of $175 - this was a big selling point for us because the other companies we contacted were going to charge $250 or more! Daved quickly identified the issue - there was a flap over the outside dryer vent that was not opening when the dryer was on. He fixed the housing of the vent and added a screw to gently prop the flap open when the dryer was on so it could get more airflow. He tested it a few times and confirmed it was working for us. Then, they cleaned out the vent and were very conscientious about not getting the dust and dirt on the AC condenser outside (the vent is right above the condenser so they put a plastic sheet over it). Daved even noticed that our stacked washer and dryer was wobbly and fixed it for us by adjusting the feet. Overall, he and his son really went above and beyond just cleaning the dryer vents and we really appreciated their kindness. Thank you SO much for the help Daved!! read more

My dryer has been taking way too long to dry so someone suggested that I have my dryer duct work cleaned. I wish I had done this sooner! Night and day difference in drying time. Lots of lint had accumulated inside my duct work and even at the top of the roof pipe. I highly recommend that you have your dryer duct cleaned if you haven't in a while to prevent a fire hazard and to save energy on more efficient dryer cleaning. Great service and no hidden fees - flat honest pricing. Doctor Dave has great bedside manner and is very courteous and prompt. Him and his son communicated very clearly from the quote to arrival and he keep me updated on everything they were doing. Very careful and cleaned up everything spotless. Nice to see such a great family business providing good old fashion services and not trying to upsell anything. Highly recommend them! read more

I'm embarrassed to say that we never knew we needed to clean the dryer vent and we only ever cleaned the lint trap in the dryer itself. Our dryer is working fine and we never had any error codes, but we've lived here almost 19 years, so we wanted to have it cleaned. We reached out to Daved and he was friendly and communicated clearly about what he would do and the cost. He was able to come out the next day and was early to our appointment (he verified via text first that this was ok). He was efficient and answered all of my questions. He also installed a new exterior dryer vent cover when our original one broke (it was old and brittle) for a small additional fee. Will definitely be using him again in the future! read more

An Exceptional Service & Honest Business! I called Dr. Dryer Duct because I was concerned that my air ducts might be filled with ash and soot after the Eaton fire. I've used their services before about two years ago for dryer duct cleaning, and they were incredibly reasonable, efficient, and thorough. Today, Dave came to inspect my ducts, and to my surprise, he informed me that they were completely clear of ash and soot, no service was needed. I was blown away by his honesty and integrity. Many companies might have taken advantage of the situation, but Dave was upfront and transparent. That level of honesty is rare and speaks volumes about the company's values. I highly recommend Dr. Dryer Duct for any future duct work, and I know my family and friends will be calling them too. If you want a company that does great work and operates with integrity, look no further! read more

I decided to use my own dryer vent kit and accidentally got a brush stuck in my vent. It's a complicated setup compared to my other homes as the dryer vent is fairly long with a 90 degree angle and vents to outside over 20 feet on the outside. I reached out to many people on Task rabbit, yelp and personal contacts and many people denied helping and some said I'd have to even take the whole wall apart. Someone tried to help but was unsuccessful in doing so, so I knew I had to reach out to a professional. Daved said he thought he can get it done even though others said no and was very upfront with the pricing. He also scheduled literally next day for me compared to some who couldn't come for over a week or two. He used a few different tools and was able to successfully extract the brush, hanger and rods I had stupidly gotten stuck in there within an hour. Also, he was able to identify the main issue which was that the vent flap wasn't installed correctly by my builder leading to severe blockage and my vent and dryer not working correctly for years!! He also helped me put the dryer back and installed a proper new hose for me. Do not hesitate to call him and get help for a basic cleaning or getting your dryer brush unstuck like myself!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

I would like to thank Daved for coming so quickly after the Eaton Fire to clean out my HVAC ducts and registers which were overdue for cleaning anyway with bugs and dog hair falling down into the floor registers. Daved and his son arrived with big commercial HEPA vacuums to clean out all of my floor registers and ducting, both supply and returns. I also had them clean my dryer ducting and exhaust boost fan. My 2nd floor ceiling ducts were clean. They did a wonderful and careful job cleaning all of this and even vacuumed my wood floors before they departed. They worked for about 5-6 hours and didn't even take a break. Pricing was super reasonable. I really recommend them. I will book them from now on every 5 years. I suggest you do the same! Total professionals. Genuinely dumbfounded when I found out you had to clean out dryer ducts, especially on a regular basis. Chalk it up to us being lucky - our vents hadn't been cleaned over a decade and we never had an issue. I felt dumb for not knowing, but I'm sure glad I called Daved at Dr. Dryer Duct because he was a complete pro. On the call, he was patient, answering all of my questions and concerns, and scheduled me for a next-day visit. Daved was prompt and communicated his arrival via text. After he got there, they were total pros. They helped move the dryer, wiggle behind it, and begin the work. Our outside vent was high up and, as they were cleaning, it made quite a mess, sending lint all over our back porch. After 15-20 minutes, they wrapped up. In the end, they did a full, thorough cleaning and replaced the duct that connected the dryer to the main duct line because it was made of vinyl and wasn't safe. I watched them load out and was prepared to go clean up the back porch, but when I went to go do it, I discovered that they had cleaned up the entire area and put my deck furniture back. These guys are wonderful. Cannot recommend more highly. read more

This review is for the customer service. I requested quotes from multiple places using Yelp and Daved was one of the first to respond. After we had discussed the issue at length, including time spent reviewing pictures I sent of the issue. Daved was up-front with the pricing, the work his business would need to perform, and clearly stated next availability. At one point we were messaging too much, and he requested to speak live. (: I was also impressed the effort Daved took to understand the issue and provide quote. The other places just wanted to charge to come out to look. Though we ended up not needing the service, the timely response and interaction with this business gave me confidence that they work with integrity (and not play games) which seems to be so hard to find these days. I would definitely recommend this business and wouldn't hesitate to work with them in the future. read more

Great service. Highly recommended.on time, did the job well. Reasonable cost. Everyone should clean their dryer ducts.

I was doing my own vent cleaning and the brush got stuck. Not because I went reverse on the drill but the air wasn't blowing toward the vent and so it ended up getting clogged. Dr. Dryer Duct saved the day! He was able to come in a timely manner and get the clog out. And he was able to clean it for me at a very fair price. I would definitely recommend this place because they do good work and they don't charge an insane amount. It is just a flat fee rate and you just text Dave (?) and he will give you a quote. 5/5 Thanks! read more

Dr Dryer Duct sent Vincent to clean our dryer ducts. He did an amazing job. We couldn't believe how much lint he pulled out.
