I have family in Tracy and so I'll stop in this store for help when I'm in town, and I don't think I've ever had a single positive experience. They are not interested in actually providing customer service, they're ONLY interested in signing new customers. Once they have your money and have you locked into a contract they will never help you again. My phone service has barely worked for the last year when I leave my house, it just won't let me make phone calls or use the internet unless I'm at home. I've called multiple times to get help, or to get them to lower my bill because of the bad service, and they refuse. This Tracy store literally doesn't provide any actual customer service, they have told me multiple times that if I want any help that I have to drive to Livermore or Stockton. So then what's the use of having verizon stores in Tracy??? I've been a Verizon customer for 20 years and fully regret the loyalty I've shown this corporation. They've proven to not care about their customers, and the Tracy store is an excellent example of that. The people in this particular store aren't good at their job, and I don't recommend that anyone sign-up to be taken advantage of by this company. Service is bad. Coverage is bad. Price is bad. Ultimately, Verizon has become just another awful company. read more

A bit of customer respect would be nice. If you can't accept monthly payments here, there should at least be a payment drop box, or at least a sign indicating how or if payments accepted. I would give them a ZERO rating if I could. So I went in the store to upgrade one of my lines about 3 months ago. The representative Devin/Devon helped me. He told me I could get a FREE new apple watch with the upgrade..Mind you I already had a line for my Apple Watch where I was only paying like $10 a month. So they order the Apple Watch I want and when I come back to pick it up they cancel my current Apple Watch line and open a new line. I then later realize when I get my next bill the watch IS NOT FREE and now I'm paying $30 a month for a line that I was previously paying $10 total for before. I don't live in Tracy so now Verizon is telling me I need to go back to the store to try to resolve this. My advice GO SOMEWHERE else. read more

Beware! They'll trade in a phone, then when you go to turn it in, they'll go back on what they told you and won't accept. Traded in phone with promo to stay on existing plan. Next day after verifying everything was transferred/synced to new phone, they blamed another colleague for not knowing what they were doing and stated we had to change plans in order to get promo. But Verizon made it right when we called- got upgraded phone, plus kept our plan. Don't trust these 2nd hand Do-called Verizon dealers- go to legit Verizon store. Plus 2nd salesperson was a jerk. Joked with other salespeople that we still had old plan. Yep, still have old plan with $ off through Verizon, plus have Disney, Hulu and ESPN FREE!! read more

Devon and Gab are the BEST! I came in today and the service was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The had a great deal on the new Moto Razr and helped me through the process of trading in my phone with patience and good humor. I thought they only had a dela on the Samsung but when I spoke to Gab he explained the two plans and since I have a soft place for the Razr I opted for the Razr. I had errands to run so I came back and that's when I spoke with Devon who happened to be the district Manager. Hr helped me complete the process as well as a discount I hadn't realized I was eligible for. Really great people and a product I am happy to use. read more

There is nothing more frustrating than going into a store, being greeted by a kid who just gives you a blank stare when you ask a simple question. Then when you repeat the question he stares some more and then says we can't help you, you need to call customer service. My experience with the store was fine. I picked up the item and they installed the protector perfectly. My issue was with the central telephone help. I spoke with them to source a Zagg screen protector for my new Ipad. The lady confirmed the Tracy store had one in stock. 10/13/23- Had to come in to pay a past due amount since Verizon app also doesn't work. I had Sprint before, and if you had that service shut off, you could still use the Sprint app to pay a late bill. There were 2 customers being helped and 1 customer waiting when I walked in at 1pm. I ended up waiting about 40 min to be helped. There were only 2 Verizon employees at the time. I can't say that the wait was because the employees were slow, it was due to 1 customer not understanding and getting confused about nedding a new phone since her ols ine was obsolete, and the other customer buying a new phone and service The person in front of me couldn't be helped so was assisted for about 1 min. My assistance was an easy and pretty quick transaction without any issues. I had service restored 10 min later as I was told by the employee. This whole time, the other employee was still trying to explain the phone upgrade that was needed. read more

Went in yesterday looking to setup some family members, and my dad was also looking to get an upgrade. We were helped by Jonathan and two other associates, (one of them I believe was the manager), and we had an absolute great experience. Jonathan was kind, took a personal interest in finding us the best deal possible, and he was patient as we asked all the questions we needed to ask. He also took us through everything step by step and setup our new phones ready to go, without missing a beat. The other two associates were also extremely helpful, including the manager. I had a terrible experience with their customer service. The person who assisted us was very rude and exhibited racist behavior. I've never been treated so poorly at a store. Whenever I asked him questions about my phone, he simply replied, "I don't know. You would have to call customer service." It left me wondering what his role was if he couldn't help. read more

This location has a new manager named Susan. She's so helpful, patient, and very knowledgeable. She works very closely with her staff to find a solution for all problems that customers may have regarding Verizon Service/Product. By far, the best experience!! We purchased one (we thought 2) of our phones here awhile back. Verizon is our carrier... but we are battling with Apple and a recall on one of the phones. We needed some information, but We weren't wandering in to make a purchase. After calling Corporate Verizon and not getting anywhere, we decided to stop in here thinking we maybe they could assist us better. Nate was able to sleuth in the system for us and found out the phone with issues on it was actually purchased at Costco. He was able to download and provide us with all the device information that we needed. Shout out to Nate for helping us out. Be very careful purchasing from this 3rd party Verizon store. There is some shady business going on here. They offered me 'free' home internet however they created a faek home address on my account to make this happen. I was suppose to get a $800 loyalty credit however when I purchased my phone, I was told the manager has to get approval from Verizon. I paid for my phone upfront, never received the loyalty rebate and am still charged as if I am making monthly payments. Thankfully the corporate Livermore store is helping me fix my account. Don't waste your money on screen protectors here. When I spent well over $100 on screen protectors here a few months ago, I only chose to do so because they offered free replacements for any cracks. Now that I actually need it replaced, their policy has conveniently changed. $20 shipping and handling fee per screen protector. It's literally cheaper to buy one on Amazon including shipping and handling, or for that matter, literally anywhere else. I can't think of the last time I paid $20 in shipping and handling for something you could fit in an envelope. I deeply regret letting them talk me into the deal a few months ago. Not to mention I was here yesterday and instead of just telling me this they sent me home because I didn't have my ID to verify my account. Didn't need my ID today I guess, just wasting my time yesterday for funzies. They also won't honor the deal for anybody who purchased it while they were advertising it. Which feels kinda of like false advertisement to me. The screen protector only lasted a couple of months by the way. I just go to change my safety screen protector and without my concept and any signature he order two home Internet devices and I've been calling to Verizon, since then every day more than hours nobody want to solve my problem I am customer with Verizon 20 year. I don't understand how only one person is expected to run the whole store in the middle of the week at 3:45 pm. I came in with an issue with my phone that i couldn't fix myself. I was told from customer service to go to an actual store and see what they could do. I waited patiently for 25+ mins while the one employee was helping someone else, but i felt like i was not even acknowledged. Finally when he was done helping her he seemed to not want to help me and come to find out the person before me was having the same issue with there phone. My wife and I went to this Verizon store to transfer her number over from AT&T to my Verizon account. I was previously on a 5 gig family plan that included both my parents, so we wanted more data since we were adding a 4th person. The rep let us know that the only available option was to go with the unlimited 5g network so we went with that. During the process of transferring her number, I noticed they had a deal to give a free Samsung S20 FE to customers who open a new line with an unlimited plan... Which was exactly what we were doing. I had mentioned this deal to the rep but he informed us that it was too late since we were in the middle of porting her number over. I am absolutely floored that they didn't honor this deal and we were pretty much jipped a phone. The rep didn't even mention this offer when we first mentioned what we wanted to do. The kicker is, the current phones that my wife and I have aren't 5g compatible, so our upgrade is pretty much meaningless. I feel absolutely disgusted with the way this played out. After 15+ years of being a Verizon customer, I have decided to move my family plan of 4 over to T-Mobile after this interaction. The rep wasn't even knowledgeable to let us know our phones wouldn't get 5g support. No useful information from the rep at all. I came to your store on September 18th, 2021 approximately 12-1 pm . Nathaniel was the employee who assisted me. I was in a disarray because my phone had been stolen.  Nate was very kind and impressionable. I decided to purchase the iphone 12 because that was available inventory at that time. I inquired about the price and he said it would be the price + tax of the phone. I can normally compute tax and numbers because of my current role.  This time my mind was distracted due to the circumstances of losing my phone. Before proceeding with the transaction he offered me "free accessories," due to his $200 dollars worth of credit. which ended up not being free. He also didn't provide a receipt so I wouldn't be able to see some of the dubious charges on the receipt. After arriving home, I realized the number didn't add up and I was misled into believing I was getting free accessories.  As you could see below at the receipt below. Today 09/21/21, I conversed with the manager at approximately 0420. I do not remember her name but I remember her attitude. I'm trying to explain my situation, but she kept interrupting on what a fantastic deal I got and all the coupons I received. I am trying to explain that I didn't need the accessories and services of him adding a screen protector, I am competent enough to order from Amazon and apply it myself. She accused me of being "Rude" without hearing my situation. She was very loud and obnoxious, and was trying to get smart with me. I know how sales work, I understand the pressure to have add-ons. I was a former Sales Manager in my previous role. In addition, Nathaniel without my authorization proceeded to add a protection plan on my account. I have never in the history of my account had protection plans on most of my lines besides one line. This is the reason why I don't deal with Authorized dealers, and I wasn't aware of your location not being a Verizon Corporate store.  They are not regulated through Verizon and dubious charges are added to peoples accounts by deceit or by manipulation. Please make you don't fall for there dubious charges and add-ons. Don't buy any accessories as well. Go to a Corporate Store. read more

Beware, both the insurance and the skill set of this site is in question. Lost a phone, went to store...instead of using the insurance at $60 per month that I paid for a year...they did not have a SE phone...so instead of using insurance and getting a 12--the next available option, he told my wife to use the upgrade with a new program that saved money. So instead of no fee insurance...charged us $332...and increased to unlimited data to increase $60 more per month...when i only use 3g of 16g per month. Now why would I pay $600 in the year I have had insurance...only to have to pay $332 to replace the phone...using an upgrade...and then increase using data I did not need. First, insurance appears to be a scam, they find a way to not honor the replacement...and upgrade so you pay nearly as much for a new phone...and then what is the disconnect to tell us we would save $6 per month...when it really cost $60 a month more. Then it took me 4x hours, 7 calls to get $140 back...and then to cancel the insurance. Guess I will look at xfinity after all..Verizon is a little shady. read more

I got in to pick up an order and no one acknowledged me telling me I would be soon helped. I had to ask and the boy attendant responded very rudely "as you see there's only two of us". Then a girl helped me and asked for stuff (QR code and PIN NUMBER??) differently than what my verizon e-mail said. Verizon email said to pick up with an ID in hands. I said the email did not inform me correctly and she told me get in touch with corporate and that's not her area of service. Both provide services to costumers and none where professionally friendly. They should not be working with customers, they cleared were annoyed by people there. read more

Very hard to get ahold of someone over the phone on an in store pick up. It's been 3 days, I live on the outskirts of Tracy and if someone in store would've answered the phone to let me know the status of my order it would've saved me time and a headache. And when I go in, I have to wait again for someone to assist me, while one is pretending to be occupied on the computer and "the manager" is busy talking about airplanes with a customer. They said ordering online the system does not see that they don't have on hand inventory for my phone so it was "cancelled." I told her I didn't receive no email that it was cancelled and she said you'll receive an email in 3-4 business days. I told her no you're wrong, you're thinking refund, I know bout that part I just want the email. And I kid you not, it was like talking to a wall, she didn't know what to say she just kept going to her manager and he wouldn't even help. I had to handle it myself, and called Verizon customer care, they said they never cancelled it and she wonders what the store is doing. Smh. After she contacted the credit department, they were finally able to cancel it and sent me the email cancellation. Overall save yourself the hassle; please go to a direct Verizon Store & stay away from a vendor. No one & I mean NO ONE IN THIS STORE assisted me. read more
