If you're looking for an AT&T store, i highly suggest finding another branch. I've lived in the area for 14 years and no joke, every time we come to this branch they never help us. We end up getting our services completed at Best Buy. We came in for new upgrades and as soon as we said upgrades, they immediately said, no. They don't have the phones in stock (fine) but they never mention other options like ordering the phones, or other solutions. I stead they say- go to Best Buy. Customer service is non existent at this branch. So we ended up at Best Buy and sure enough we got what we wanted. Also spoke to their associates who said this branch is notorious for sending their clients to Best Buy. So corporate- are you wondering why your sales doesn't make sense? It's bec they're giving away your business. read more

They don't know what they do. No point in making appointments. I had an appointment at 11AM, waited till 12:20 and left. When I texted them the response was an apology saying their 10 AM customer took 2.5 hrs . I took another appointment at 5PM. I was at the store .. and then the same associate who gave me appointment called in someone in the queue ignoring the appointment and when I reached them, she asked me to wait for 10 more mins . Very unprofessional and I don't think they know how to manage appointments or time . I am still at the store waiting since 40 mins for a 5 PM appointment. read more

BEWARE: Terrible store with terrible practices. Tried switching from Verizon to ATT, and was helped by one of their reps, Nazir. Not once did we discuss a "Next Up" plan or "security" plan that would have charged me about 90 a month extra in total. He had "forgotten" to send me a copy of the quote until I reminded him before leaving. Convenient. Checked the receipts, and cancelled my orders for new phones that same night. As far as helping my parents print out a copy of their business account number (they're old and forgot), they are reluctant to help and give the run around. Yet ATT corporate/customer service they SHOULD be able to print out and tell us the business account number. Long story short - Switched off to Verizon wireless. Beware of their fraudulent practices and overall reluctance to help. Check your bill and receipts people. If you have to order a phone, do it online to avoid them trying to sneak in extra services without your notification. read more

Then when you finally get the assistance that you need if it's not a sale that benefits the representatives quota then you will get the worst quality of customer service. This is not a phone store, it is an indoor lounge for people to sit around in. Came in today and Two employees one woman one male, sitting at a table talking like two friends meeting at the park. Another employee just walking around with a tablet looking for his charger. Mean while the store had about 14 people inside waiting. Not once did any employee come up to anyone or anything. After about 30 min of just standing there, a man addressed the whole store that if they're checked in (which we were) to just sit at a table, though they weren't tables to accommodate everyone waiting. My family and I left without purchasing our phones. Again this is not a store trying to do business, just a lounge for employees to hang out I guess. read more

I am saddened by the poor service, horrible customer awareness and competition for upgrades by AT&T. I wanted to upgrade two phones 3- Saturday's ago. Little did I know it was going to take 5 calls, 4 agents, and now waiting on a tech person to put my number back on my old phones to return 3 Brand New iPhone 15s for refund. The heck! After several years of service, I Give Up! With the outages, poor service in my neighborhood, very incompetent and pushy phone agents, I can't and will have to find another service provider who can make this easy. As a former AT&T employee, it irks me when I see these salesmen take advantage of the customers which was a main reason I left the company. My dad and sister wanted to upgrade their devices and asked me how to do it without adding any other features to our current plan. I tell them that you essentially want a "dry upgrade" meaning nothing else more than upgrading your device. Meaning we do not want the "next up" feature. We do not want "home tech protection". We want to simply upgrade our devices. I get that you want your commission, but how about you just be a better sales CONSULTANT instead of saying the added features are included in the pricing and having them pay for something they already said they did not want. Everybody be sure to ask the sales "consultants" for a physical copy of the quote they bring out instead of just reading their "A and Bs" because they will screw you over just so they don't get dinked because it was a missed opportunity. They are supposed to be consultants meaning finding the best solutions to fit the customers needs. Not their own. read more

Placed an order online to pick up the phone. Made an appt for pick up, thinking I just need to walk in and pick it up, should be quick. Still had to wait awhile, and was eventually helped by Allison. She took forever in the back to pick up the phone and give it to me, only then to take another 10 minutes to locate the shipping label to return the phone, only to be told their printer didn't work and if have to print it myself. Also, bought the upgrade as a gift, and upon returning home, found out they cut off service on the old phone, so completely ruined the "gift" I bought. A waste of 45 minutes just to pick up an already paid for phone, while also securing an appt. read more

This is based on the customer service I received over 3 visits on 2 consecutive days (2 on Sat & 1 on Sun). Sat: We were helped right away as soon as we walked in the door. The guy who helped us wasn't super friendly but he answered our questions and let us know up front the requirements for trading in my phone. I didn't buy a phone because I wanted to see if Best buy offered better. We returned a 2nd time the same day, and this time a gal approached us with a tablet. I told her I wanted to speak w/our 1st guy (who was busy w/a customer) but in the meantime I asked her if she could check if a phone was in stock. she told us no but that she could order it for us and it'd be a few days. So I do wish they would've had the phone I wanted in stock - I didn't care what color. Sun: We went back and the universe blessed us with Marcus. He knows what it means to work in customer service. He just has that customer service personality, he's so positive, and you can tell he wants to help you and make you feel comfortable. I went here to get my phone fixed. A guy tried selling me everything but what I was there for. Finally a manager came over and opened my claim for my phone. Then the associate sold me the wrong phone accessories. The next day I came back to return. Internet down. Can't help you. They send me to the mall. Worst experience with AT&T! Make the drive to a different location since they can NEVER help with anything.

I am very disappointed with my service at this store. Be wary of what they say they can do for you. I went into this store on April 2 looking to get ONLY internet set up for my home. The agent insisted I get Uverse TV as well because it would waive my $35 installation fee. He said I would have two weeks to cancel the TV with no charge and still get the installation fee for free. It is now April 13 and I have been billed not only a $35 installation fee but also $89 for TV I should have another 3 days to cancel. Upon contacting AT&T customer service they said THERE IS NO SUCH PROMOTION. There is a $180 EARLY TERMINATION fee associated with cancelling the TV, and on top of it all the price we were quoted for the internet service is dependent on having the TV. I had to spend an hour on the phone with AT&T customer service resolving the issues this sales rep created for me. I actually had to lower my internet speed to keep the price I was quoted! Fernando took his time and made sure the screen didnt have bubbles or debris. Horrible customer service skills. I know AT&T gets pretty busy sometimes so I opened the door (didn't even walk in yet) to ask if they had time to take me or if I should come back. Instantly the girl in the front said "if you're gonna come back, come with a mask" in a very rude tone. Unfortunately, my phone was broken and I needed a new one ASAP. I put a mask on and walked inside. I asked if she had the phone I wanted available and she said "no" and looked me up and down as if she wanted me to leave because she said no. I asked if she could have one shipped to me. She said yes then told me to sit down. (At this point I thought she would be nicer since she realized I was going to go through with buying a $1,200 phone regardless of her shitty attitude). The whole time she "helped" me she was glancing at her other female coworkers, never made eye contact, and acted super annoyed. She didn't even say "thank you" when I left, nor did she say "you're welcome" when I said thank you. The only reason I am rating two stars instead of one is because she said it would take 7 days for my phone, but I got it in 3. Side note, when I went to AT&T in the past (not this location), the customer service was excellent. They helped me with my bill, they helped me with accessories for my new device, etc. They would be thorough in helping me understand the process. I won't go to this location again. read more

Came in looking for a phone upgrade. Customer service was pretty nice, they were good enough to reassure you that they have your back. They don't. An Associate name Ileina helped us out. She claimed they have a new promotion much better than our old plan, and for almost at the same price (including discounts). I was trying to get the new iPhone 11. In exchange for my old 7+, we were getting a $500 trade-in value. Who wouldn't resist? She even went as far as pitching us a new TV and Internet bill, and offered a gift card if we switched today. We kindly refused. Overall we left this trip happy. A week later my dad comes back looking to get himself a the same new iPhone 11, but came to find out that they added a new line to our plan. Now Ileina's claiming the promotion only applied if we added another line, something that wasn't mentioned before. "I dunno, they actually just changed the promo again 2 weeks ago, and that's why it's good" was probably the most in-depth Ileina was going to get in her promotional explanation. I don't think she had any idea what promotion she was pitching. There were also no mentions of a new phone number and SIM Card. You'd think they'd give you a new SIM Card since they were adding a line right? Nah. They also never mentioned that this $500 trade-in value was also part of the same promotion. Now, they want me to return my new iPhone to give me back my old 7+. It's pretty frustrating. The only thing they were adamant about pushing was their new TV plan, which is honestly probably a scam as well. I'd love to say it was 100% a scam, but I'm also sure Ileina didn't have any idea that the promotion had to have an additional line during the first visit. Since we ended up getting the new phone anyway, my guess is they're trying to cover up her tracks by claiming that they mentioned that during our first visit. Too bad I was excited enough that day to remember every single detail that came out of her mouth, and everything else on the second visit was a bunch of crappy lies and cover-ups for their mistake. Not trustworthy and a huge mistake! Disappointed isn't even close to the frustration my husband and I have experienced since doing business with this store. They lied to us about our package deals, costs us HOURS on the phone with Customer Service and wasted our time with multiple trips in. Today was our 6th call to service with another hour spent. We even have written proof they lowered rates for our business that AT&T can not validate. I have an S22 Ultra. I needed to get my screen repaired. Called before going in on August 5th around 4pm~. Lady who answered the phone at the att store said not to because they were wrapping up and to come in the morning at 9am. I came at 9 am and they were closed. Checked online and the time they open is 10am. Pretty much fed up with att and being told a wrong time since I am from out of town. Anyway of course they couldn't do anything to apologize for the inconvenience. This past year att customer service has sucked. Earlier this year I didn't have phone service for a week due to them accidentally putting my service on a blacklist. I live off my phone for work... so it was really inconvenient. Att sucks. Customer service sucks. The lady who gave me the wrong info sucks. ... also in 2hrs of my phone screen repair my battery went from 100% to 20%. I don't even understand how that is possible. At all costs try to avoid going to the Tracy AT&T store. I visited Tracy AT&T store to simply replace my defective iPhone case which I purchased from their store and paid $50 for it few months ago together with my iPhone. As I entered the store I was greeted and asked the purpose of my visit to their store, I explained the situation to the associate and he told to wait so he ask the store manager, few minutes later Damian Bartley the store manager came out and looked at my case and told me they would replace it with the exact same case, I agreed and then I was told to wait for another associate to come out and take care of it. Then Damian left for the day, few minutes later I was told by another associate that the person who is supposed to help me is on his lunch break and will come out in 20 minutes to help me and I agreed to wait, after 30 minutes waiting the associate by the name of Josue Gomez-Ramos who was supposed to help me came out and told me "you purchased the case few months back therefore all I can do for you is to print a copy of the receipt take it to the Apple store to replace your case we can't do anything for you here" At this point I was extremely furious and upset not because he refused to replace the case but because they wasted almost an hour of my valuable time and his words were agains his manager's words. They could have told me that when I entered the store instead of passing me to multiple associates and wasting my time by making me wait for an hour for no reason. Or Josue could have simply send an associate to tell me that while he was busy eating lunch so I could I have left and not waited for 30 minutes inside the store. Josue was extremely rude and unprofessional, I felt extremely disrespected and missleaded. read more

Walked in and sat there for thirty minutes at which I talked to an employee, was told to wait... people walked in afterwords and the guy with the manbun checked them in and then us. Afterwords sat for another thirty without so much as hello. Verizon is wayyyy better, needed to get a friend a new sim card. Wasted over an hour and half for nothing and terrible recommendations. If you have any questions/want a phone vérizon has way better deals and customer service. I went into the new AT&T location last week for the first time. The location and the stores size is a vast improvement over the old store on Grant Line Road. The way they have their system set up for customers is also an improvement over their old system, which was. Well, they did have a system. As you walk into this store, your greeted by a receptionist who takes your information. Then your placed on a first come list. When your next, a customer serve representative finds you, introduces themselves and helps you with your needs. IMO, It's kinda like going into an Apple Store now. But don't tell the folks at AT&T I said that. I'm a fan of the new store. read more

They've been our carrier since we can remember and we never have any issues with them. Came here one day to get our son added to our plan and see what the damage will be. We brought our own phone and didn't realize till the sim card is inserted that the phone we had was locked from when we had it back in korea. We decided to get him a new and inexpensive phone right then and there and didn't have to spend a gazillion of money for it. It'll only cost us additional $15 for the line and the phone will be paid for together with our monthly bill, which worked great for us. The AT&T cus. rep we had was very helpful in leading us step by step process. He also informed us that there's a new data plan higher than what we used to have and with the same amount of money were paying for since we'll have an additional user in our plan. So far every visit here is always a pleasant one and hopefully that wouldn't change next time we needed to come back in here. read more

Came to get a new SIM card for my new iphone. It's new to me, but the sales man treated it like it was nothing and didn't handle it with care. He put it on the table, sort of like flopped it right on the camera lens as the camera sticks out from under the phone. If he doesn't know, the iPhone camera lens has a lip, and sticks out more then any of the iPhones and he just flopped it right on the lens and could have damaged it. He popped out the sim tray and put the new SIM card in it and shoved it back in with his tiny little strength he had. Almost like he jammed it in, and could have damaged the SIM card or sim tray. If he had any cell phone etiquette, he should have handled the phone with care instead of laziness or carelessness. I wonder if this is how he treats all the customers paying lots of money for their brand new phones. But I'm sure as long as he's making the sale it doesn't matter. After seeing how sloppy he was, I chose to walk out and called customer service to process a new upgrade with them giving me a discount and I ended up ordering new direct tv service. He gave me info on it, but knew he wasn't going to have my business. Seems like AT&T has fell apart over the years from having their salesmen wear a nice long sleeve shirt with a tie with shiny dress shoes, to having these guys roll out of bed wearing a pajama t-shirt and coming to work in ripped dirty looking "shoes" or full of arm and neck tattoos. Wish I could do 0 stars for this review. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. KID DOESN'T HAVE A CLUE. My galaxy s10+ gave me a coding screen that said "Select SD card by key input" and unfortunately my boyfriends phone was dead so we couldn't Google a quick fix. We decided to go up the street to the "experts" for help. As soon as we walked in Jacob came over to "help". He immediately couldn't recognize AT&Ts own mobile device. He told me he had to "Google a way to fix it" (could've done that myself at home once bf phone charged). We watched him struggle to remove my phone case, he didn't know what the buttons on the phone did, he removed and reinserted my SD card, and then he told me there was no fix and I'd need to re-download my phones software or upgrade my phone... UM WHAT?! Needless to say I told him I'd figure it out myself. Within 2m and using the first Google suggestion my phone is back to normal and has 0 issues. Glad I fixed my phone myself and saved myself at least $850! Please...just...don't go here. read more
