Terrible customer service. So disappointed! The salesperson was very dismissive and rude.

Between the multiple reps thru the phone and the rep I spoke to in store, everyone gave me DIFFERENT instructions on how to suspend my husband's line and receive a bill credit due to deployment. My husband called before he left in MARCH to suspend his line and even though it has been confirmed multiple times that he in fact called, nothing has been done and we are still being billed in full every month. I worked in TeleComm for 3 years and understand what protocol is. But even though I have shown power of attorney paperwork, it's been notated and I have been told that I can now make changes to the account - it ends up I still don't have the capabilities to do anything. They acted like they didn't want to work or they are running a game there to see how long a customer will wait to inquire about getting some service! I've been a customer of sprint for 15+ years. With the merging of sprint with t-mobile, my overall experience with them was very poor. I recently had very poor service from not 1 but 5 different sprint/mobile employees from both call center and 2 separate stores... So, I had enough and made the decision to switch over to Verizon . I had the pleasure of being greeted by a very nice female but was eventually helped by Warren. I came to Warren with the request of transferring 5 lines to Verizon and upgrading 4 of the phones. I can say enough about the great service I received from Warren! He was very professional, patient, knowledgeable and just very pleasant to work with. He made us very comfortable in the entire process and we felt very assured in that we made the right choice in switching over to Verizon. He was very straightforward with what our phone, plan and payment options were. I really don't have any negative comments about our visit, and we were there for a few hours given the many changes we were making . But again working with Warren made the experience painless. There was also a female coworker who checked us in and Helped us with a few initial questions, I didn't capture her name but she was also very nice and helpful. This location represents Verizon very highly. Can't say anything close about the two T-Mobile locations I went to the day before. I look forward to my business with Verizon :) read more

Christopher! This is the first time I have gone to a Verizon store and not left at least a little frustrated. He was knowledgeable, not at all pushy with new products, and he actually listened to me! He helped me fix my old phone so I could wait for a better deal on a new one. Just a class act, most other verizon sales people could take notes from this gentleman. Worst customer service I have ever received at a verizon store and a little bit shocked since I have been with Verizon since 2004. They were very busy so I didn't think anything when greeted a little hastily since I understood the rep was probably somewhat stressed. When it was my turn to be helped the rush had died down some and the new rep informed us that we could actually take care of our "issue" from home or were welcome to use a tablet in the store. I agreed since my problem might not have been as pending as others. So we went to a tablet that way we could get help if we we're stumped. When this in fact occurred and we needed more instruction, the rep referred us to a different rep who had her hands free. This other rep had an attitude and basically instructed me to keep searching and figure it out on my own. She said she "didn't remember how to do it". Quite frankly, that wasn't the response I was expecting. I just moved to Vista and moving forward if I ever need to go in the store for a problem and/or help then I will go the extra miles to the San Marcos or Escondido where the customer service is 100 times better. read more

They're a bunch of sharks. Telling me my husband needs to pay for a LoJack in order to upgrade. And we would have to pay $180 when we do. And we get a managers special?? First off, I work for target mobile so I sell Verizon. That's all I bunch of crap. When I tried correcting her saying he is early eligible, just has to turn in his phone, she said "no, that was never a thing" okay lol. And the "managers special" is a discount that is given regardless, depending on the plan, when you do device installment. I had to get out of there real fast, I was so mad. The store manager is the worse manager ever. I stopped in to get a new screen saver put on my phone. There are two staff members including the manager in the store. Instead of the manager helping the next customer, and letting the other guy who wasn't with a customer help me with a 5 minute task, he is making me wait. I guess the manager only dusts the shelves and leaves customers sitting for over 30 minutes. This store sucks. Buy your phones online and don't come in here. I'm a decade long verizon plan subscriber. I've always bought my phones from Verizon for the convenience. I was shocked at the poor customer service at THIS STORE.. I have a Galaxy s8 that I paid Verizon full price for. It is under warrantee and under the additional protection plan. It is less than 1 year old. It has Very Poor Battery Life. The so-called service rep was immediately defensive about my request for a replacement phone. HE DID EVERYTHING HE COULD TO INDICATE THE BATTERY IS NORMALLY THIS POOR AND IT WAS SOMETHING I WAS DOING! Yes, I have phone settings set to save battery already. Yes, I restart it every day. Yes, I do sometimes watch video. Does he have a way to test the battery?? NO! I'm a engineer by education and profession, so I'm not tech illiterate. He then said I didnt have enough memory. The sales men here are very pushy to sell you a phone rather than go through options with you! The rapid advancement of technology is leaving us, the consumer, to fend for ourselves when it comes to setting up and transferring data from an old phone to a new one. Once you buy a phone (i.e., iPhone) they hand you the phone and tell you to go home and activate it with the iCloud! Their is no fair warning about this and also the upgrade fee ($30) sucks!! My husband & I purchased new phones as Christmas presents to ourselves and made an appt to pick them up. The guy checking us in was very nice and informative, however upon getting inside the gentleman, I believe his name was Christopher, helping us was not as pleasant. He was able to check us in & grab our new phones, but when asking questions on how to activate and transfer data to the new phones he was very sarcastic and made it seem very easy. However, he left out important information such as that we have to call a number to activate the new phones. It seemed as though he was trying to get us out of the store very quickly. And i understand everyone's concerns and cautions with covid these days, but from someone who works in healthcare we still need to provide the best service possible. i had better customer service from the person over the phone who helped us purchase the phones and update our plan. My husband and I will never do business with this location ever again. We were played and lied to by one of their associates named Chris. Our bill spiked almost to $1k and Chris is going back on his word from our last visit. He called my husband a kid. He is extremely unprofessional. He treated us as if we were not a customer of 5 years like we have been. Chris stays by the managers side like a child whispering in his ear as if we're planning to tell the manager lies. Chris is extremely unprofessional and I recommend no one buying from him. He told us next time we should get everything in writing. I have been long waiting for the NOTE 7, but because of the MESS around it, I was hesitant to buy an new phone. Went in to this VERIZON store, expecting a little bit of wait. As I walked in DJ gladly assisted me in choosing a new phone. His is very knowledgeable and courteous. I asked about the deals and he gave me all the eligible free stuff and suggested more money-saving purchases. Also explained how the savings and deductions would appear in my bill. HE WAS AWESOME. We just walked out of this location. Three employees walked by us standing at a counter without saying a word to acknowledge us. Then one of them finally asked if we were helped. She did not say hello, welcome, anything. We said we were in to temporarily suspend a line for military orders. She said she needed a formal copy of the orders. We asked why because in the past it wasn't necessary. She said it's new policy. We left. She did not say thank you, goodbye, anything. I stopped by this store yesterday because my screen went blank on my IPhone 6S. I am still in a contract with Sprint but have been wanting to change to Verizon. After my experience, I'll stay with Sprint. Terrible! I later went to a Sprint store and the guy showed me how to push 3 buttons at once and "restart" the phone. It works just fine. This Verizon store in Oceanside was so rude. The only other customers in the store told me said they were shocked at the bad attitude in there as well. I can see why the place was so empty. I had finally decided to divorce Apple and switch to a Galaxy S9+. I was concerned about the transition but felt it was time. Raul at the store did a really great job answering all my questions (I had a ton) he was patient and walked me through all the set up processes and features of my new phone which I am using now! Got scammed and lied to. Person who sold me the phone said they would cover all these charges and they all show up on the bill. I never got a print out of what I would be paying monthly, which was supposed to be about $200 a month. Got a "written" statement instead. Now I'm stuck paying $400-$500 a month? Walked in the store and checked in with the front desk and was told they would be with me shortly. I was there because my phone wasn't keeping a charge and I just wanted to ask what options I had in replacing my phone. My simple question was...Do I just get a new one or do I request a replacement through the insurance plan. Here's where this store totally dropped the ball.... I checked in at 5:19pm, they sent me a text that stated I was the next customer in line. It took them 30 minutes to get to me! I wouldn't be upset if the store was busy and crowded with customers. But it was the total opposite!!!There was one customer in front of me and one other person that came in after me. The customer service reps left one guy to help everyone and the manager was busy with a sales manager from Moto. She was blah blah blahing with the rep while we sat and waited. I waited 30 minutes just to talk to a customer service rep for 2 minutes. Such a disappointment. read more

I usually go into a Verizon store expecting a hassle because that has been my experience. Thanks to Virginia, my experience this time was great! I went into the store and Virginia came over. She asked me what I needed. I told her I wanted to get my Note7 swapped out (because of the recall), and she went to work. While swapping the phones, backing things up, changing the microcard, and making sure that my original phone was wiped clean---Virginia was friendly, helpful, kept up the conversation, and made me feel at ease. Went to Verizon on Mission Ave, Oceanside, Ca. I had purchased a SE Phone there on March 28, 2018, Spoke with Christopher about problem and he said there was a problem with SE phone I had. Started looking at Iphone7 They wanted 592.32 for it. So I thought that was too much. they were only going to give me 22.50 for my SE phone. I had two little ones with me and they were very nice and accommodating. They offered me water and even threw away my trash. And then of course I spilled some baby food on their futon seat and they told me not to worry about it and cleaned it up for me. Great customer service! Alberto was very knowledgeable. However, I was told that my trade-in value of $249.99 would be credited to my accounted. I just received my bill and the credit is $84.50. When I called to find out, I was told that the store just gives "estimates" and that they actually appraise the device when it's received. It would have been helpful in making decisions if I was told that my device would receive a trade-in value between $84-250. I would not have traded in my device for such a low amount. My husband and I had to go through all the phones and try to pick one ourselves since no one would help us/ no one working there seemed to have any knowledge about the phones. Customer service is weird at the this store; walked in (there are two separate entrances to this store) and walked over to the lady with the clipboard to ask if I needed to put my name on a list in order to get assistance. She said yes. Then, instead of asking for my name, greeted the next person that came in the door and asked for his name to put on the list. Really? After she took the other customer's name, I gave her my name and started to walk around the store. When the sales person came over to help me, the clip board lady ran over and interrupted to tell her that she needed to help someone else. Wow. I live in South Corona and called this location to inquire about any specials they might have for the Gizmo (gps watch) for my daughter. I have Sprint and they don't offer this device . My mom who lives in Oceanside has Verizon and I was looking to set up the purchase for her to put on her account. I spoke with Christopher Gross who was beyond helpful. He took the time to explain the colors and styles that were available for the band and even text me a picture of the updated Gizmo ( as it was different than the one I previously purchased for my son) My mom was able to walk in shortly after my phone discussion and quickly purchase the Gizmo. I was really impressed with Mr. Gross' level of customer service. These days you just don't get many people who really care and take that time with a customer . Thank you Christopher! read more

Not sure what all the 1 stars are all about but I got greeted right away and had great customer service. I had the manager approach me (sorry forgot his name but I think it's Hubert???) Anyway, I was helped by Beto afterwards who did an amazing job!! I was there to get a new Samsung 5 phone, but was debating if I should wait for the iPhone 6. I made a comment to Beto that I felt I was too smart for that smart phone (iPhone), and I think he (Beto) got offended because he is an iPhone user. Sometimes I just don't know how to shut my big mouth. Despite my rude remark he did an excellent job giving me an unbias opinion of the Samsung versus the iPhone. With him being an iPhone user he still gave me very good reviews of the Samsung. He told me I should wait for the iPhone to see how it feels and looks in person, but my stubbornness got the Samsung to fulfill my short gratification needs of having a new electronic system. I'm happy with it, couldn't ask for more. The iPhone looks beautiful, but I need the freedom of customizing my phone. Anyways, Beto did an excellent job with his customer service, as I was a bit weary of coming here because of the two star reviews. I'm a bit late with my review (2-3 months late?) I bought a Droid X the first day they came out...It was shipped to me promptly and I took it to this store to activate the new phone. That's about all they could do...no help, no demo, they just pretty much said I was on my own. I went back in two more times for help with apps to use my calendar and address book and told to" go online or check the Motorola website". Gee, thanks. I pay huge Verizon bills for years and that's the kind of help I get. I'm dumping Verizon...love the coverage but I don't need the grief. read more

# In short this store is terrible and it's a good indicator to me as to how Verizon is failing. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Avoid this store at all costs, you might consider avoiding Verizon at all costs, I'd recommend Sprint maybe? Not AT&T though, there service is extremely unreliable. For further information on how this store failed me, read below. I have repeatedly been given the run around here. It started when my DROID was acting weird and I called them to ask them what I could have done when I came in. The girl there Cristina said she would transfer me to tech support for help. Tech support turned out to be a call center, and told me she could have done anything that they could do for me. They were confused as to why she transferred me. So, I then physically went to this Verizon location and explained to one of the staff there what was going on. They then directed me over to the Tech Support area in the store where Cristina would help me...the same Cristina who transferred me to the Tech Support call center to "give me more information". I can only assume Cristina forwarded me to the call center because she was too lazy to do her job. We talk about my phone and no matter what i said was wrong with it, she just told me it was the software update...or that I needed to do a factory reset (something I had done previously on my own). After trying to convince me it would be fixed now, she finally agreed that a replacement might be in order. She only agreed to this because I explained that what had been happening was random and I hadn't been able to track down the steps to reproduce it. They told me I had to use my current glitchy DROID while the new one shipped to me. I said that was fine, not ideal, but I would manage. When I got the new phone, it was already broken. I took it in to the store and they kept asking me questions about if I charged the phone and saying that the lack of charge was what was wrong with the phone. Finally, they agreed that the hardware was broken on the NEWLY SHIPPED PHONE. They offered to send me another refurbished replacement... I explained how I failed (and still do) to understand why I am being punished when I haven't done anything wrong, my phone has never been dropped or anything such as that. They said they just can't give me another phone right then, nor could they give me a comparable phone that moment. So I asked to speak with the manager....I watched him pass me by five times after the person helping me went in the back to get him for me. She stayed in the back while he was walking around me, it was as if they were trying to trick me into not knowing who the manager was...even though I KNEW WHO HE WAS! This whole time I kept apologizing because I was honestly not trying to be a pain, I was just frustrated with the lack of service. All I wanted was a phone that was reliable and still had the same features that are key to my productivity at work. (I work for myself, it's extremely important that my phone be reliable) The person helping me returned and told me the manager was not going to come and speak with me but instead was going to mail me a Droid 2....This is when I got really frustrated, all I wanted was to get some resolution, I needed a phone that worked and this is not resolution. I honestly didn't care if I got an original DROID as long as it WORKED! I am not a freeloader trying to get freebies. So in the end I got no resolution, they are sending me another refurbished garbage phone that hopefully works this time. An upgraded phone doesn't make up for the inconvenience thus far. This review is excluding the run around they gave my girlfriend when she went there with a problem. I am honestly appalled! read more

I had purchased a new phone online and then came here to have it activated/updated with all of my settings/contacts/photos etc. Yesenia ended up being the employee who helped me and she was amazing!
