Called Verizon customer service this morning. It was a terrible experience. It's an automated system and trying to get to a human and it was almost impossible. I got to a human after about 15 minutes of trying he had a very thick heavy accent had me reset my network said he would call back in 10 minutes that was over two hours ago Since resetting the network, I had to spend an hour reprogramming everything at my house I called back four times. I got hung up on all four times. Customer service over the phone was unbelievably terrible Got in my car and drove 15 minutes to the nearest Verizon store Checked in and told him third in line Now wait Just wait a bit I get a guy named Gary Swartz Gary starts off with an attitude Tells me he's a Verizon specialist, a technical specialist and that he knows more than I do He tells me they are having a lot of problems with people with Apple phones, and that most of my problem is because I have an apple phone He then Changes my SIM card Then he calls the same 800 number I called earlier today Gary starts helping another customer while he handed me his phone so that I can work with the person on the other end of the phone She also has an accent and it is very frustrating She kept talking over me After an hour on the phone with her, I finally hung up because all she tried to do is upsell me. She said I should get a higher paying plan and they'll give me a free I said it's not free if I'm paying more money per month And I'm already paying a fee for Verizon there shouldn't be a difference in service from one price point to another. They both should work. Why would I pay more and lock myself into a service contract when I'm having problems with the service I'm currently getting and if the problems continue, I'd want to leave Verizon to go to another carrier so again why would I wanna lock myself into a three-year contract? I finally hung up on her. Gary says he won't give me a credit. Because he didn't do anything wrong and he didn't make any mistakes. This was a joke. I started at 9:37 this morning and it's 137 this afternoon and I still have a phone that doesn't work or let me rephrase that I have service that doesn't work no credit for my time just a joke Tell Gary I was pissed when I walked out. I walked back in. I want to talk to a manager and nobody's helping they're ignoring me. I think it was unprofessional that Gary was helping me then it started helping another customer whilst simultaneously helping me I walked back inside and I spoke to A manager. As far as the phone not ringing all the time there's an additional feature or if the phone sees you a quiet down and that's what it was doing after we did some other. As far as my other issues, he's aware and there's nothing they can do at this time It is basically the tower is being overused. They need an additional tower in my area. As for a credit because I'm on a prepaid account, he's unable to do it at the Store level. I have to call back at 800 number. We all know that calling that 800 number I'm not gonna get through to anybody. On my way home, I called a couple more times and I finally got through to another customer service person on the phone. Only problem is 30 seconds into the call the call was dropped. Remember, I'm having problems with dropped calls. I tried calling back multiple times kept getting hung up on I guess it's time to leave Verizon I'm updating this review and I see the Verizon's responded to it saying they strive for better than what I'm claiming to have received meanwhile nobody's reached out to me to find out what's going on Again, terrible customer service extremely disappointed read more

Just got it fixed today after all the time working with Verizon and reaching out to the executive team.

It's about Nokia flip phone, provided by VZ. This is the only model available in old flip style phone for my boss, who is still afraid to cross into smart phone area. So, as you can see VZ wants everyone to join the smart phone revolution, ready or not, otherwise you are getting the junkie phone in Nokia, with crazy keyboard, very hard navigation and one of the worst receptions (nothing to do with VZ), now I can hear you and now I cannot. In our case, we were trying to get a newer phone, but unfortunately we have to drop Nokia and back to old flip phone. Yes, I know at our time not a lot of people are using flip phones (maybe some seniors or I heard rumors about some orthodox religious communities) , do not buy Nokia flip phones. read more

Very disappointed with the process of switching from ATT back to Verizon. My lines were not ported over together to cancel out ATT now double billed from both vendors. SWITCH online to save 300.00, if it's going to be messy you might as well get a free gift card. This is very frustrating and it shouldn't be this difficult. read more

Because of the current world situation, appointments are required. I scheduled an appointment for today at 10 am to shop aka spend lots of money. Got a text and email about an hour ago (4 hours befote) that my appointment was cancelled. No explanation, just a simple "sorry fir the inconvenience." Instead of automatically rescheduling me to another time or date, I have to do so myself. The kicker, no available appointments today or tomorrow. Verizon in general has very poor service and charge for no reason. I no longer have them but yet I'm still getting billed for no reason.

I went in to the store today wanting and needing a new phone. I was in between 2 phones but otherwise was 100% getting a new phone. The manager greeted me promptly and set me up with a specialist to help me out. After about 8 minutes of taking to the specialist and him trying to pressure me in to unwanted line upgrades and a trade in, I decided not to get a new phone and just leave. I didnt think I could be talked out of buying a new phone today but that specialist did it. read more

Though I was sent here by "an authorized verizon retailer" and have had a very chaotic, this verizon store helped me accomplish and get to the depth of the situation I cannot understand. Zach is amazing! He helped us with a very complicated task. We needed to get a phone number off google voice, and add it to my phone plan as another line. we had very little information. He worked with us for two hours. He was very patient!! my mom asked so many questions, and he took time to really explain everything so my mom understood. He was also very friendly and personable. In the end we were able to add her onto my phone plan AND keep her old number, transferred from google voice. Thanks for a great experience! Came to this store because I was unhappy with customer service at AT&T and needed a new phone. When they quoted me prices I asked if there is a senior discount or nurses discount and was told "No, but the government can get you a free phone if you have low income". Started off on a bad foot. Was there 3 hours to get a new phone. The next day I realized my messages weren't going through, went back and had a horrible experience. They said it was a problem with the PHONE I PURCHASED YESTERDAY and I would have to go to the Apple Store the day before Thanksgiving because it was an Apple problem. The "manager", Shon, essentially made up that I had someone else add something on the phone. The "store manager" Anthony was no help at all. Thank goodness for Jovan, the tech who was helping me was persistent and called their Support tech and they were able to figure out AT&T hadn't "released" the number yet which is why my messages weren't going through. It had nothing to do with the phone at all, it was the service. I'm disappointed I came to this place, but they have us over a barrel now.... read more

I received my new iPhone in the mail, but was unable to fully activate the phone so to transfer all from my old iPhone to the new iPhone. Despite multiple attempts that lead to repeat "circular prompts": no successful iPhone activation. The next morning I arrived shortly after Verizon shop on Marron Rd [hadn't been there in years] to continue my struggle to transfer, with guidance. The manager, Mike, greeted me; listened to the story of circular prompts, no phone activation, and then courteously gave me concise helpful pointers. As I sat at one of the tables navigating the process, he checked in with me between arriving customers. I departed with that daunting transfer process completed. And with a very appreciative nod to Mike for his outstanding courtesy and attentiveness. read more

I came in yesterday, because I was thinking of switching providers. After speaking with a nice gentleman, I was still undecided and left. While sitting in my car I realized I should just make the switch... unfortunately once I re-entered the store the guy that was helping me was already with someone else. I tried to wait... but had to leave. I ended up ordering online and chose the pick up in store so I could get my phone quicker. What I thought was going to be a quick grab my phone and go... turned into me having to wait for a store rep... while watching the lady check me in...just sit about doing nothing!! It isn't til I've been waiting almost 20 minutes that she finally tells me it will be a few more minutes... to which she then leaves to comeback and have me my phone! The fact that she didn't JUST do this when I 1st entered the store is ridiculous! Like seriously?!? I needed to wait til you realized that you could've handed me my phone to begin with. AWFUL. For being a corporate store the customer service was atrocious. The second I opened the door I was greeted with a low energy and an inattentive member of the store. It was very obvious he did not like the fact we were asking questions. Another indicator of his carelessness, he did not ask any questions about an upgrade I was getting and assumed which phone I wanted, knowing we were there for an upgrade. He told us that we had to get a new phone number to open a new phone line account and could not transfer the number from a different line (so we got a new phone number like he said we had to) as well as informing us we can trade in the old phone to ANY Verizon store. Because of the bad experience we went to a different Verizon store a few days later to ask questions and we were told by them that we never had to get a new phone number and could have transferred to original number to open the new Verizon account. Like the team member had told us (and I asked to verify) that the old phone could go to any store to be traded in, I went to my nearest Verizon store to trade in my phone and what do you know I was not allowed to trade it in to ANY Verizon store. They told me since I originally went to the corporate store it had to be traded in at the corporate store. Do yourself a favor and go to any other Verizon store except this one. read more

the hits just keep on coming. these clowns have made being incompetent their mission. the quality of Verizon's service is so bad, they gotta be doing it on purpose. i'm critical of Yelp reviewers who whine and write one-star reviews because​ at some​ point during a meal their water glass was half-full and nobody sprinted over to refill it. but my relationship dynamic with Verizon is approaching bamboo stakes under the fingernails. i was getting double-billed for the same phone on two different accounts. when i took the statements to this storefront, i was told they don't handle problems like that locally and gave me a 1-800 number. when i called the 1-800 number and explained the situation, they changed my password on both accounts so i couldn't access the billing histories. over the next hour and fifty-two minutes, i was told a half-dozen times (in conversations with two service reps and three supervisors) they were emailing me a link to "update" my passwords, confirming​ my address​​ each time. i never got one. at that point their new-and-improved solution was to send me back to the local store where i could "update" my passwords if i showed up with photo IDs. when i arrived passport and driver's license​ in hand, i waited patiently another thirty minutes​ (there were several folks in front of me) until it was my turn. the Verizon Wireless employee i talked with (looking dazed and confused) explained that wasn't something they could do locally. i called and spent nearly another hour on the phone trying to access my account(s) so i could straighten out the situation with zero success. the service rep and two supervisors promised to send hard copies to my confirmed home address via snail mail. i never got them either. i've spent nearly three hours on the phone and made two more trips to the local store and here's the net result: they sent me to collection. read more

Today I was sold a black iPhone 13 and upon arriving home and opening the box I discovered it is actually blue. When I returned to the store to exchange it for what I had asked for I was told "this is the black iPhone 13"... I opened the box and said no this is clearly blue (it is a dark navy/teal color). The Verizon employee then told me "this is apples version of the black iPhone 13, it's called Midnight". When I purchased the phone an hour earlier I was told it was a black iPhone 13, the color midnight was NEVER mentioned by the person selling it to me. As it turns out, apple doesn't actually make a black iPhone 13, so I don't understand why the person who sold me the phone called it black. I think if you are selling someone a device they will be using for the next 4 to 5 years, you shouldn't lie to them about the color of it read more

Daniel truly deserves this compliment. My husband is not the most patient person when it comes to any cell phone issues. We made an appointment a few days prior to avoid a lengthy wait and it works! We were assigned to Daniel to provide us with upgrade options and he was quick but thorough. He provided great service, was patient in his explanations and went through the plan which saved us money in the long term. So, not only did my husband get his upgrade - I did too (not intended but the deal was one we could not turn down). This location is clean and inviting. WHAT A SNAKE!!! Stay away from Jovan Guerra! LIAR LIAR LIAR! Upgraded to Iphone 16 and Jovan told me it would cost me $11 a month more for everything. Traded my husband's phone in, transfer it to my Iphone 13 and transfer 13 to new 16. Charged me $30 to make the transfer. I get a bill $22 more a month, no return label for the Iphone 13 and no transfer to the new phone or help. Did not return my calls and ignored me. I went to another Verizon store and they would not take the trade-in phone either. Spent hours on the damn phone with Verizon and they said they would give me a break on my bill. Have not seen it yet. No one will take the old phone back for return. NO way to get a damn label to return it and waiting for Verizon to return my call today. I only have 30 days to return the old phone. Worst part of it was JOVAN GUERRA showed me a receipt telling me what my bill would be $194 a month from now on. Nothing was provided to me in the bag (as he said there was) showing this amount. My bill is now $204, so my increase was $20 more a month, May not seem much, but it is in this day and age. Taking advantage of people is not right. VERIZON CAN DO BETTER with these salesman who lie and cheat just to make a sale. Shameful and mad trusting this jerk. read more

A less tech savvy family member of mine went in to upgrade to an iPhone 12 Pro here, the person helping them added insurance on the line **without telling them**, and didn't give them ample time to read the finance contract or notice the add-on. The person helping them also told them they would "give them a brief overview of the contract" scrolled quickly to the bottom and said "sign here". Having co-managed a mobile store this is a very common yet unethical practice in order to meet add-on or "attachment" sales goals. Others will say "it's automatically added on there just call customer service to get it taken off" (which then doesn't affect the stores sales). That being said the manager quickly removed it as soon as I rolled in and was fast about explaining the details of the transaction. Shoutout to that, still won't be back at this location. read more

Terrible experience here. I was considering switching over from T-Mobile, as I don't have the best service. Tim was originally helping me. He seemed quite lost in what he was doing. Art, someone from the business side stepped in. I was in the store for over 3 hours. I was quoted a price then quoted multiple credits that were never applied to my account. The price quoted for my lines did not include multiple items. So my bill would be around $50 more. I was left at the bar for over 45 minutes ALONE. Then find out they were eating a "burger" that was ubered in. I traded in some phones that were immediately sent out. Keep in my mind I NEVER signed any contracts with Verizon. They stole my phone tried to lie about a plan and now tell me I'm stuck with Verizon even though I have NO SIGNED CONTRACT. Do yourself a favor, go to T-Mobile for much cheaper pricing or AT&T. Don't waste your time with these guys. Trust me, I'm not the only customer. Shame on you guys. I tried to get help from these guys after they lied and cheated me. I usually hate buying a phone. Feels as stressful as buying a car to me. Well, this time it was a pleasure! We were greeted by William Cao who knew everything about phones. He took all my stress away by clearly explaining without belittling me for not being fluent in technology. I got the newest Samsung and love it!! It was the best Verizon store experience I've ever had. I've been with them since it was Air Touch cellular. That's a long time and my experience with William was by far the best! Even the other gals/guys that work here are super nice. I love how well they all worked with each other and how great the customer service is. Verizon has been a customer service nightmare. Although everyone from the sales associates in the store to customer care in India is very nice they are all very undertrained associates. I have been without internet services for almost a month in which I have been paying for this service. Had internet through Verizon for about 1 year and was pretty good. I decided to bring my phone service to Verizon and was sold on an upgraded internet service. Went home set it up and it worked fine. Went to cancel my original plan as the store associates advised me to make sure the new service and router worked ok before I turned off the original account and returned the router. When I went to cancel the old account the nightmare began. All of my internet went down. I have spent over 8 hours of time dealing with IT techs in the US and India that say the same over and over. They just read their script and do not have any knowledge of the equipment. I finally went to Verizon Executive care. They have someone looking in on the issue for several days and now they state I do not have the 5g service available in my neighborhood. Hmmm! It worked fine for the previous time, the salesperson in the store qualified my address for the service when I switched to the upgrade. My phone while sitting at home says it's on 5g service. The solution is to try the lesser LTE service which of course is a higher charge of $40 more a month. Still no resolution. This has gone from frustrating to being just a joke. Meanwhile still no internet and still be charged. If you have no issues great, but if you do you should think twice before using Verizon if your time is valuable because your time is not valuable to them. read more

After coming to this particular Verizon store for many years, a week ago today was the last day. I have been a member with Verizon since it was bought off Air Touch, yes about 20 years. However a week ago today, I made the decision to start looking for a new cell for home company. I went to this store to upgrade all 5 phones for my family for Christmas gifts. As I wait outside the store to be called in, I notice two employees helping two people and one employee on her cell phone. As i patiently wait, 20 minutes go by and she's still on her cell phone giggling and entertaining herself. I peek through the door and say excuse me can I come in, she nods her head calling me over with her hand. I walk up to her as she's protected by a pixie glass and she says "Don't ever come in here without us coming to get you" I said I peeked in because you have been on your cell phone and it's been 20 min and it's cold outside. She ask me for my account number or cell number I let her know that it's under my husband's name but Im also on the account. She rolls her eyes and says by husband need to be there in order to help me. I notice her horrible attitude continues and looks back at her cell phone ignoring me. I said look I don't want any problems I'm just here to get new cell phones. She ask me for the PIN number and I give it to her, my social security number I give it to her, address, everything she wants. Then tells me I still can't help you because your husband needs to be here. Again I remind her I'm also on the account, she disregards me and starts helping another person, while her at the Manager start laughing. Manager Mike and horrible employee Eve, while it may be funny to you both, I'll remind you that I've been coming to this store for YEARS and I've never seen the same employee Twice. Verizon gets rid of employees like you too. However I won't be able to verify because I'm saying goodbye to Verizon. read more

Horrible customer service. We arrived at 2:59 for our 3:00 appointment. One customer was in front of us without an appointment. He wanted a new SIM card. Mike was minding the door. He suggested that the man in front of us wait in his car due to the extreme heat. We checked in for our appointment. The man with the SIM card was permitted in. We waited our the door for 10 minutes before Mike suggested for us to wait in our car. We are senior citizens and we were refused to wait inside due to employee customer ratio. There were 2 employees standing around inside doing nothing. We will never return and will consider changing carriers. read more
