The staff at this store are 11/10 regarding when it comes to customer service. They were all very informed on the best deals and were able to recommend the best products that would accommodate me in my goals, both personally and professionally. I didn't come prepared, which increased the amount of time needed to get all we needed to do. Everybody handled it with extreme professionalism. Did I wait almost an hour in-store to pick something up that I ordered online earlier in the day? Yes. But did I still get excellent customer service from Aaron? Also yes. Aaron was solo in the store, assisting someone with an issue for the past 4 hours that he did not cause. He was calm and patient, working hard to resolve this customer's issue. He then simultaneously got my item and assisted an elderly lady who had visited before with questions on how to use her phone. He was so kind and calm (I would have lost it) while having to go around in circles in order to finally find a resolution for everyone in the store. Great job! read more

I would have preferred going to the actual Verizon store located kiddie corner to Victra. We ordered phones a week prior and came in the following week to pick up and set up. It took a while for them to set up our family phones and transfer our lines / number to our new Verizon plan. At our initial visit Jay was very knowledgeable and seemed to be in the know and more customer facing. The other customers were needing to wait to work with him and Chandler the other worker seemed more like a sales associate handling more simple transactions. He deferred many questions to Jay while we were there. We ended up going home to cont to finish setting up our phones.... As per guidance by Jay. I was happy with our interactions with Jay. We were told the phones would be set up and working after the transfer is complete. Come to find out this was not the case which left us with no working phones until the next day because when we called customer service/ tech support they were closed. We went back the next day and this was truly where the regret set in. We came back and it was just Chandler there and boy was he truly a piece of work. We felt that from our prior visits and I was incredibly disappointed when we had to go back and work directly with him. He is Completely irritated by the fact that we were there asking for help. So rude and just had a miserable demeanor. Not someone that should be customer facing. Told us we should not have ever left their store if the phones weren't working. Argumentative. I was trying to point out that we were told by his colleague to go home and please not point the finger at us that we were at fault. he argued back, rolled his eyes and snapped back. He was annoyed by not only us but every customer that we watched walk into that store. When he finally did get on the phone to help finish our phone set ups I was surprised to hear that he was telling tech support he is manager of the store. Whoa. That was a shock and I am impressed that his staff seemed to have a way better attitude and customer service approach then their leadership. kudos to you Jay. Go to the real Verizon store if you actually want someone to help you. My husband and I needed to change plans. We were previously on a family plan and wanted to move our two lines over to a new plan as well as upgrade the phones. We work up the street, so we figured it would be easy to stop by this authorized retailer location, and surely the service would be no different than a full Verizon store. We started off chatting with the manager there, don't remember his name, about what we were looking for. We decided what plans we wanted, and he told us we'd be eligible for the BOGO on iPhones since it was a new account. The first thing he had us do was call a Verizon number to release the numbers on our account to a new account. While my husband was doing this, I started asking questions about the phones. We wanted the iPhone XS, one in gold and one in black or space grey or whatever they want to call it. He proceeded to tell me that no one in the valley had it. He also told me that there were only two Verizon stores left in East Valley, which I was able to confirm was a lie as I was sitting right in front of him. He told me that it would take two business days to order the phone. I then asked if he was able to see the stock of the real Verizon stores in the area, he told me that he could and none of them had it. After he shared with us that we would not be eligible for the BOGO after my husband completed the phone call, we told him we were not happy and proceeded to leave the store and go to a real Verizon store. While we were not eligible for the BOGO, I was upset I was not informed until after we started the process instead of before while evaluating all of our options. The Verizon store confirmed that much of what he was saying was a lie - especially the fact that they had hundreds of the phone we wanted in stock for us to leave with same day. Went into this location a few days,ago. Wanted to find out about upgrading my 6 year phone. Samsung rep and Gabriel tried telling me my phone and my wife's phone woukd not work past dec 31 of this year. Turns out after speaking with verizon tech support both my wife's phone and mine are good for another year. I have always gone to this store and had a great experience until now. Zach quoted me a rate almost $100 less than what my actual payments would be them tried to say it was down at the bottom to add to the circled price he wrote down. How is a customer who never sees the paperwork supposed to know to look in two different places to add the prices together to get a total after being told this is your price? I also called the store earlier to speak to a manager and never received a call back. He took me through a bunch of tech solution options. When those didn't work he looked at my account and gave me my best options and didn't put any pressure on me to purchase anything. I did pick up the new samsung S8 after he gave me demos of all the phones and added the samsung tablet promotion which my daughter is going to be using for Netflix. He setup everything and transferred all my info just like I had on my old. All the accessories I got were specific to my needs and he just didn't throw them into the bag just because it was part of the "package" deal. Even helped me order the promotion Gear 360 camera!!!! I have been into this particular store several times because I live very near it. So I feel I can give this opinion with 100% accuracy due to my many experiences there. Every time I have been into the store I have received incorrect information or flat out lies. I find that every employee I have spoken with has told me something that is either incorrect or deliberately manipulative in order to either get a sale or not have to deal with my particular issue. Whether this is out of ignorance and lack of training of their staff or a deliberate lie to make a sale, I'm not sure. But either way every experience I have had has lead to incorrect information and me owing more money than what I was told. I would highly suggest to avoid this store at all costs. I'm very disappointed in my experience with this store. I went with my father and husband. Our reason for the visit was not only to change my father's telephone number from a WI number to an AZ number but to ask why he his bill is so high ($157 for 1 basic phone and 1 iphone 4s, using a share plan of unlimited talk/text and 4 kg data). Also, we wanted to pass my father's upgrade onto my husband whom was on his own plan. From the start, both the clerk and manager we pleasant, they seemed to want to help BUT in the end, I was wrong. Here's what happened: I was told to avoid a $15 fee my father would need to change his number online. No problem. We then asked about his current plan and why it costs so much. We were told we could either upgrade to the iphone 5c and save $10 a month plus IF WE UPGRADE (only if we upgrade) we'd also receive and extra 1 kg of data per month OR we could lower the amount of data to 1 kg and save $20. I asked over and over isn't there anything cheaper? Really? I was told "No. Upgrading is your best option." In the end we lowered the data to 1 kg so my father's cell phone bill would be $137 a month instead of $157. From this point, we then asked about giving my husband my father's upgrade, immediately we were shot down. "No there's no way around that, unless your husband is on your father's plan." We walked out of the store with only getting 1 out of the 3 things resolved. When we got home, I got on the comuputer and attempted to change my father's number to an AZ number...I was having technical difficulties so I called technical support where I had the BEST EXPERIENCE talking to Nancy from Idaho or was it Ohio???...She changed my father's number AND waved the $15 fee, she got my parent's cell phone bill from $157 to $85 a month PLUS remember the extra 1 kg they'd get if the upgraded to a 5c, she told me that was offered to him regardless of getting an upgrade or not. Lastly, I was told my father could go into any cell phone store, ask for his upgrade, then immediately turn around and reactivate his basic phone and give the upgrade to my husband. The past few days my phone would go from having "full service" to "no service". I took it to a QC Verizon store and they helped me out by changing the SIM card and stated that if it continues to happen it could be they tray that holds it or the phone itself. Well, it continued to happen and I wasn't getting any service. I walked in to this Verizon store on power and ray( the one I'm reviewing) and explained to her exactly what happened. Instead of looking at my phone or trying to fix SIM card, she just gives me a number to call and make a warranty claim. How the hell am I supposed to call when my phone isnt working? I ask if she could maybe just put the SIM card back in place or take a look at it, she completely ignored it. The reason I'm unhappy is because I used to go to this Verizon store all the time before and Masud and his staff always went above and beyond to help with what I needed. It sucks I gotta leave a negative review at a place I used to go to and they would ALWAYS help me out. I will not be going back! read more
