For key fobs, they will open and replace on the spot which is super nice, especially for folks who dont have tools or are not mechanically inclined. They also have guarantees on their batteries - which you most definitely are not going to get with your Amazon purchase. About a year ago, I had a great experience at this location when my car died in a nearby shopping center parking lot. I came in about an hour before closing, and the team helped check my battery and confirmed it was low and not charging Yesterday, I ran into another issue as my battery wasn't charging and my door locks were cycling. I called the store and spoke with Austin, who was incredibly helpful and friendly. He looked up my information, confirmed my battery was still under warranty, and even though they were closing in 45 minutes, he went above and beyond. Since I live across town, Austin found a closer location near my home, called them directly, explained my situation, and arranged everything for a smooth warranty exchange. These guys have always done good by me. They've helped me find solutions for things when I could not, or made recommendations to where I could go. In addition I have free lifetime car key support. They also changed out my two car fob shells and had to make four attempts because Amazon kept sending me the wrong ones. Richie finally got it done right for me having had to get a little creative. I have been going to this place since 2020 . I have been getting batteries for my car fob. They are very friendly and installed the batteries. I went in today to take care of my car fob and garage remote too. Picked up some AA batteries and employee said I have a better deal. They now have their own batteries that are better than the batteries I picked plus cost less than Costco. It is a clean store. Had one of those morning no one likes. Dead battery. Checked it and the good news is the battery was 22 mi the in to a 24 month warranty. Bad news is the location i purchased it from had poor service and is closed down. They attempted 3 times to tell me that my battery wasn't covered. Thankfully Austin (great employee) continued calling and fighting for me. Just when I was about to give up and leave, he got it approved and installed it very prompty. He told me he was so sorry for the delays and that he hoped that his service would make up for it. He needs a pay raise. Great guy that sees this as more than just a job. read more

I purchased two different batteries in the store. The first one went dead within six months it was for my Prius. The second thing was a key fob battery, which the battery that came with the car new lasted 12 years. The battery I got from you did didn't even last two years. I'm now replacing it again. On December 4th 2024, I went in to buy a battery for my car key. The man working would not sell me a battery to take home for my husband to change out. He insisted that I should pay for it to be installed by him so it would be guaranteed. I spent over $25 for him to put a single battery in. Warning low battery light on my Jeep popped a couple times while my hubs was out of town. Instead of dealing with long lines at the dealership on a Saturday morning, I called Batteries Plus. They're terrible and their workmanship is shotty at best. If you need batteries go there, but certainly not for any type of repair service.

This afternoon I stopped by since I was in that part of town. I forget about the mess they did to the wife's watch 4 years ago. But, it was a simple car remote battery exchange. Two remotes. It took the kid less than 3 minutes and the cost was $33. Are you kidding me. $33 for two little button batteries installed. Come to find out they wanted to charge me an additional $10 per battery for a warranty. What the........ $10 for a warranty on a $2 battery. These are CR2032 button batteries. Once he took the warranty off it was $12 for both. More like it. Be careful folks.. read more

Extremely dissatisfied with my experience here. I recently came in for assistance with my battery, and after walking in was greeted and told there was only one associate.I was then told there wasn't a way to have them leave the store to check my battery to see which one was needed. After calling a seperate store (shoutout to Bullhead, AZ Batteries Plus for being on top of it) they then let the associate know he could have looked it up for me from my make and model the whole time. Then after a runaround about my warranty, was told that I would need an invoice to even order the battery, that they wouldn't honor the warranty provided without the invoice, and that my best bet was to drive 3 1/2 hours to Bullhead if they have it, because he could not order it for me. This place is unprofessional and does nothing to assist you, take my advice and steer clear of this store. read more

I just stopped in for three little button batteries. They had them and we were done. Then I remembered my Tahoe key was not working right so I asked if they could check it. They checked the key and said the batteries were a little low but he was going to clean the inside first. He cleaned it up and it works like new again. He saved me $14 and told me to stop in again if this happens again. I go here often for batteries and this is why. They are honest with me, they know what they are doing, and most of them are attitude free. Absolutely recommend you try them when you need batteries, of any kind. read more

They acknowledged that they could rebuild a battery pack in 10 minutes while I waited, but refused to do so because they only do jobs in order and might be able to get my job later in the day. I have been in here many times but never for automotive batteries. I never thought of it I guess. Hard to find specialized "gizmo" batteries has been my quest usually. They constructed a special battery for my old LifeCycle, camera batteries, watch batteries special kid's toys batteries and they have hard to find light bulbs, all at excellent prices. My last trip was for watch batteries which they installed, charging $8.99 each and did it during the 5 minutes I was in their store! My husband mentioned multiple times that he just needed the battery changed and they insisted it would still cost this amount. Scammers. Avoid at all cost. I used their website reservation system to replace an iPhone battery that is unable to hold a charge reliably. I made the reservation at 1:30 for a 3:00 appointment. I arrive with my paperwork and explain that I am the 3:00 appointment for a battery replacement and immediately was concerned because the employee thought unneeded a screen replaced. He looked at my phone and said he couldn't help me. They only had one battery for my phone on stock and someone else had just called to reserve it for tomorrow morning. Made some half-assed attempt to pass me off to a different store, but at that point why wouldn't they just have a battery transferred from the second store or tell the other customer to go to the other store who had t made a reservation? Regardless, piss poor customer service. I will just replace myself like I have my previous iPhones that needed replacement batteries. read more

I randomly stopped in to get a battery for my keyless entry remote for my car. I was really impressed with the level of service I received for such a small purchase. There were quite a few customers in there but despite this the guy helping me went above and beyond. He tested the battery I had to make sure it was dead, then noticed a piece in my remote was coming loose so he soldered it. After doing this he went outside to make sure the remote was functioning. All of that for $3.86! I wish the receipt had his name so I could give a proper shout out, it only says "MC". I will definitely be going back if I have any battery needs. Went to the Elliot and Dobson store and had to wait another hour. 10 miles away! Service rep was rude and very short with me. DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR PHONE!!! Horrible repair and will never go back to this business again. Had them replace screen on iPhone 6 and since they had it open decided to also replace battery. Received phone back and the screen they used is crap and very dim. Showed them compared to my identicle work phone the difference in brightness and they claimed that the new part has thicker glass therefore is dimmer. This is a complete lie. Took home and noticed the battery they replaced doesn't register with phone and is actually worse on holding a charge. They use crap parts for their phone repairs.......DO NOT USE THEM!!!! They will use crap parts and then lie about it and not stand behind their work. I will be doing a chargeback so I can take to another pair facility that uses quality parts and stands behind their work. read more
