Great experience. Requested a quote to fix an iPhone 12 Pro because the earphone speaker didn't work. He called me within 30 minutes and quoted me for the repair and setup an appt for the next day. Mike made what was a terrible day a really great one. My phone cracked over a week ago and I brought it here to repair. A week later and the phone got a white bar on the side. At first I was worried I'd cracked it somehow, but through conversation and looking behind the tempered glass I realized I hadn't cracked anything, it was just a faulty screen (not Mike's fault, this can happen sometimes.) Anyways he was very trustworthy and kept his word to offer a warranty and even though it was a hassle to come back to the shop, he was gracious through the process and helped me to know it wasn't my fault, things like this happen. I chose Microfix based on price and attention/responses to my questions through Yelp. I was quoted a "flat fee" of $151 to change my battery on my laptop, but when I showed up I was charged another $13 shipping for the battery. Guy working there is very honest about what you need and is not trying to scam you. Went in to get condensation removed from inside of iPhone camera and the worker said he would attempt to remove it with a machine that he has so as not to compromise the seal, when I returned he explained that there was still some condensation in the cameras and that he would have to open the phone up in order to completely fix it and explained the risks of doing it. i'm honestly very disappointed with my experience. I came here initially because of the good reviews, but that did not reflect the customer service. I brought in my iPad because the touch ID was broken and it's been having difficulty staying charged. I was told that the touch ID was not fixable which was fine but at the end I was told to get a high voltage charger to fix my battery issue after my iPad took 10 minutes to turn on and during that 10 minutes continuously flashed between the battery icon and a black screen. I waited an additional 10 minutes to see if it would charge after that, and it stayed at one percent the whole time. He then moved it to a different charger on the computer in which the battery increased to 3% he had then noticed the computer that was charging the iPad had died but concluded that my iPad was fine because it charges, but I don't think after 15 minutes of charging that it should be concluded as "fine" when that is clearly out of the normal. I had expressed that I had already used multiple different chargers, but every time my iPad still charges at the same rate. Sometimes hours or even overnight just to get to 30%. It even freezes on one percentage for hours even though the battery is decreasing so I know for a fact that a charge will not fix this. read more

I was told it had a warranty for the screen so I thought great I will take it back! No, the warrant is only if I press a letter and another one appears not if I get these random lines on my phone. Job: Samsung S9+ (great shape) battery replacement. Now that one week has passed, here is my review. I was there early and Mustafa took me in. He was very attentive and courteous. I'd say the service was 5 stars. The phone booted fine and w/o problems. Now, he only had one battery left for S9+. He showed it to me before installation and it was a Chinese made battery. I had no choice as that is what he had, i.e., no OEM (Korean made). I still need to charge my phone about 1X day or 2X per day and I find it it unacceptable. To be clear, I use my phone for basic usage-- no video streaming, just photos, texting, music through BT for about 80% of the time. So I'll rate materials as 3 stars and that is generous (should be 2 or even 1). Hence a final average rating of 4 stars. My recommendation for Microfix (being in supply chain): Secure high quality battery inventory or have supplier drop ship upon request (may take a few days and that is typically acceptable).
