Microfix - Mobile Phone Repair Near Me - Tempe, Arizona

Mike at Microfix was such a big help and so friendly! My phone wouldn't charge, and I'd tried other chargers to no avail. As an Uber Driver I need my phone, so I was really worried. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem, offer a solution and quote, and repair the phone in less than an hour. They have some comfy couches and quiet atmosphere, but luckily I live close by. I was really in a pickle since I had recently lost my wallet, and had very few methods of payment. He worked with me and I was able to use PayPal to compensate him for his work. Truly a life saver. All in all, it was a very professional and satisfying experience and at an affordable price. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you need some help getting your electronics to work. Check him out! read more

Did a great job fixing my iPad in quick and timely and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend

Truly the best phone repair service I've ever received! Not only was it completed in a timely manner, but the customer service was IMMACULATE! I came in for an iPhone 11 LCD repair. They also checked for other potential issues my phone might have, a very nice touch! In addition to it all, the price was so affordable! I was given two options of an aftermarket screen or the original iPhone screen. They explained the difference between the two and also broke down the prices. I0/10 service! read more

I was referred here by BestBuy after I found out my laptop was no longer under warranty. I was skeptical to use a third party service, but Mike proved to be very quick, efficient, and effective(for a decent price too). Most of my costs came from ordering the actual parts and labor was quite affordable. I dropped my computer off an hour before close and he had it ready for me by the next morning. I highly recommend this place read more

Quick, efficient, and friendly service. Mike has helped me out of a bind twice now. I highly recommend his services! Great value!

My wife's Galaxy S8 began acting up suddenly this afternoon. My wife and I called around to get quotes to get her phone fixed as soon as possible. We found Mike at Microfix IN Tempe who offered to get it fixed in 1 hour, my wife drove over and met with him. He was extremely informative and friendly, let us know what the damage was and talked through each step. He was done in under 1 hour and offered to install a tempered glass protective screen on my wifes phone, to help save money in the future. He polished and cleaned the phone, it looked and felt brand new. My wife is very happy. Overall very satisfied and happy customer 10/10 would recommend! Thank you Mike from Microfix. read more

My phone screen cracked, and Mike was able to get me in the next day to get it repaired super efficiently and effectively! I walked in and walked out same day with a perfect brand new phone screen, a beautiful screen protector, and a couple of extra gadgets that he was kind enough to give me. Not only was the repair great and the price awesome, but Mike was super personable and we shared a wonderful conversation. He even shared with me about his home country and his family! It was wonderful getting to know him as he did a great job repairing my phone. Will *definitely* come back again if and when I need another tech repair. Thank you, Mike! You rock! Job: Samsung S9+ (great shape) battery replacement. Now that one week has passed, here is my review. I was there early and Mustafa took me in. He was very attentive and courteous. I'd say the service was 5 stars. The phone booted fine and w/o problems. Now, he only had one battery left for S9+. He showed it to me before installation and it was a Chinese made battery. I had no choice as that is what he had, i.e., no OEM (Korean made). I still need to charge my phone about 1X day or 2X per day and I find it it unacceptable. To be clear, I use my phone for basic usage-- no video streaming, just photos, texting, music through BT for about 80% of the time. So I'll rate materials as 3 stars and that is generous (should be 2 or even 1). Hence a final average rating of 4 stars. My recommendation for Microfix (being in supply chain): Secure high quality battery inventory or have supplier drop ship upon request (may take a few days and that is typically acceptable). Search for top of the line battery suppliers providing COA backing up performance--let the client know. My 2¢ read more

Went to get my iPhone XR camera glass fixed since it was cracked and had an amazing experience. He was very nice and upfront about pricing and information. He gave me two options and told me which he thought was better and let me choose. This business cares a ton about customer service and it shows! Had a great experience and will definitely be going back, affordable and helpful. Such a sweet and nice guy! I will send all my friends to him if they ever have phone issues. He also threw in a pop socket and holder for my car as well as some USB charging cords for me and my staff! Thank you so much! read more

I cracked my iPad Pro 10.5inch on the way back from a trip. I do much of my work on my iPad and needed a repair quickly. After reading much of the positive reviews on yelp and Google, I decided to check out Microfix. Mustafa was very kind, professional, and knowledgeable. He spent a good amount of time trying to find me the best deal on my new screen and had my iPad up and running in about three hours. I was able to receive the student and first time customer discount which came out to $253.08 (a 10.5inch iPad cost $449 to fix through apple). As I was checking out, he threw in a USB to lighting cable, pop socket, and a car mount for the pop socket as a gift. If you want to support a local business and get great value for your product, check out Microfix. read more

I went in to get the battery changed on my Moto, and they were very upfront and honest with me that there was a chance the screen could be damaged in the process. It was, and after switching to a new screen the touch response wasn't working. They did everything they could to figure out where the problem was and even though they couldn't figure it out they didn't charge me for anything other than the initial down payment for the battery service and the overnight rush shipping for the new screen, when they could have easily asked me to pay for labor and the cost of the new battery and screen as well. I really appreciate their transparency and fairness with me even though they couldn't fix my phone in the end. You can tell they really care about customer satisfaction. Any future issues with any future devices, I'll definitely be coming here! read more

This place is a great find! I drove from Gilbert because of the great reviews on Yelp. Mustafa the owner was so helpful and fixed my daughters phone in 20 mins. I was able to ask him about a few other repairs and the prices are very reasonable. I will be returning again read more

Great and professional service. I have now been here twice over 2 years, and the service level hasn't changed. Mustafa is very honest and transparent. And he will do whatever he can do to help fix your phone problem. This last time was a defective charging port on a Samsung Galaxy device. Issue was resolved in less than two hours by Mustafa. Thank you! Cost is reasonable, and I'd rather support a local business than pay some insurance company's deductible. Would highly recommend this business. read more

I contacted four places for quotes to replace my MacBook's battery, and Mustafa was by far the most responsive, most thorough and quickest. He was careful to keep me informed about every step of sourcing a new battery and was straightforward about how long the part would take to arrive, how much the battery would cost and how much the repair would cost in total. When I took the laptop in to him, he had it fixed and ready in an hour: amazing turnaround time, even faster than estimated! Mustafa clearly takes pride in his work and I am so glad to have found a trusted repair shop in the area. I will gladly drive a little further than usual to bring my tech repairs to Microfix in future! read more

My phone was broken and I thought no repair shop would be able to repair it but microfix fixed it very professional

Exceptional customer service, turnaround time, & pricing. Would definitely return & recommend to family/friends!

I was looking for a place to get replace my iPhone 6s Plus screen. Mike (owner of MICROFIX ) was very courteous and explained me different options for my screen replacement. He even let me see how he fixed the screen and even explained few steps. After fixing screen he had a checklist to make sure other pieces of screen like camera, earpiece, switch and touchscreen were working properly. I also got an year warranty for screen except for any physical damage I did fix my screen using groupon before at some other store and he replaced it with a generic after market one which had terrible touch sensitivity and screen brightness was too blue. I was not even given an option to pick between after market and OEM screen. I would recommend this place and in case I need to fix my phone again I would definitely come back. read more

Will not recommend this business to any of my friends my phone wasn't fixed properly and when I went back to dispute and try to get it fixed they wanted to charge me again the full amount it would have cost me $350 to get my phone fixed. And that's just outrageous. beware... read more

The only place you should be going to repair your phone. Was very responsive when i reached out over yelp and ordered a new screen for my phone as soon as our call was over. Other shops in the area quoted me $300 to fix just my front screen and another $200 to fix my back camera and he was able to fix both of them for just $296. He also did it in an hour with impressive quality and results. Very nice man and would recommend this shop over others for price, speed, and professionalism. read more

I'm on vacation to Arizona to visit my cousin and i dropped my phone on the rocks at Horseshoe bend canyon from trying to take a selfie on a selfie stick (so you could imagine the high fall to the hard rocks). My cousin had a friend who came to this place to get her phone fixed often. I came in on Mon to get it fixed, however he didnt have the LCD part for my phone, but very kindly said he'd order it right away and would get on with fixing my glitching, cracked screen. I only paid for the part and labor (which he gave me a 20% discount on for my first time w/o knowing abt the yelp deal or groupon). My LCD part wasnt coming in for 3-5 days, but my flight is on Fri., so I needed someone to fix my screen in a crounched time slot and efficiently. Its my first time replacing my screen, and I wasn't going to find it anywhere else cheaper. He even promised to refund the deposit I made for ordering the LCD part, if it didnt come by Friday. He's very on top of his work and customers, giving me a call on Weds. when the part arrived. He went right into working on my phone, giving an estimated time of 3 hours to fix it (we arrived at 5pm) and he closes at 8pm. He had actually finished it within an hour, but my cousin didnt hear her phone ring when he called. Not only did he wait for us until 8pm to come pick it back up, but he was also a really great sport about it. He said he didnt want to leave until i got my phone back (i guess i made it really obvious that my phone is my life). I'm incrediblely satisfied with his work, very informational, patient, efficient and FAST!! An overall super friendly, nice guy. This definitely made my trip to Az. and he is my life saviour (literally, he saved my phone!) read more

Super quick and great service! My phone's screen was repaired in about 15 mins and the owner was very friendly.
