One more shout out for Caraleena! Our repair was done a few months ago and all of a sudden the charging started to act up. Everything about that slogan is a damn lie !!! This nightmare started on the date of August 12, 2024 when I was told that my son's computer would be ready in a week , at this time they were made aware that he needed it for school .The part was being ordered in transit and as soon as it gets in it will be fixed and a quote of 224.00 to fix . The week came and went the part was delayed but it's transit per the workers Marli. Then an voice mail from Katie ""Hi is this message is for this is Katie calling from your break I fixed just giving you a jingle in regards to that last piece for the HP I did get tracking for that piece and it's looking like the tracking is saying that it will be delivered between August 2 1 and the 2 6th once up parts ride we will notify you that we have beginning the repair and if you have any questions, give me a call 4 8 0- 6 5 6- 0 4 4 6 thank you...". That day came and went no laptop. I call on September 03,2024 speak to a man name Jesse I ask him what is the status of my laptop I dropped off 3 weeks ago and have been told the part in transit . He tells me that it has been deemed unfixable. I said excuse me when was someone going to call me and that could have been told to me 3 weeks ago when I dropped it off. He then proceeded to tell me he did not know yet informed me they had attempted many parts that would not work . What !! That is a lot of know for someone who does not know . I then told him this is all news to me I was never informed of any of this . I then asked him why this was not communicated to me at all . Of course he did not know . So I told him I will be over there to talk to the girl he said knew Marli . I walk in today and inform the female in the front that I am here to pick up my computer that I dropped off 3 weeks ago and just happened to call and was told it unfixable , why was that not communicated at the time of drop off nor any of the time there was actual communication. She looked at me went to the back for a bit I heard whispering then a lady comes out with a certified tech hat on with my laptop and proceeded to ask me what I just heard her co worker telling her I was there for . She then says I can give you a quote for the part . I told her what are you talking about it is unfixable on Tuesday now it can be fixed. Y'all got time to waste and you have wasted enough of mine. I am not playing this game . Give me my computer and learn how to do a better job in work and your life . I told them this is a horrific business in every way . Probably wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Took a PS5 console in for a repair. No communication on where my console is and what's being done to it. Console was gone for a week and a half and every person answering the phone has a different date or different timeline. For what they said that "they can order the part and fix in house" ended up getting sent out to a different state without telling me is frustrating. Assistance was professional, timely and staff very customer oriented. It was clear staff knew their business and processes. Repair was confirmed to be covered under warranty. Finally I was told there was nothing they could do and to come pick it up -- which is fine, but again, no one called and told me that, I had to call again to check. I've never written a review before but my experience with this place compelled me to. I strongly recommend bringing your computer or phone somewhere else for repair. I brought a laptop in that wasn't booting up past the loading screen. Their communication was terrible the whole time, they never called me once with an update or next step; every time I called them they seemed completely surprised and only vaguely aware they had a computer of mine they were working on; it was like pulling teeth to get anyone to share any real information with me; and in general it seemed like there was just a real lack of interest in helping me. Eventually after a week and a half of no work being done on the the computer I decided to come pick it up and take it somewhere else (when they gave it back to me it had a different charger than the one I'd left with them - they eventually found it after I said something, but I thought it matched up pretty well with the level of care and interest I got as a customer from them). I took the thing over to Data Doctors down the street on Chandler Blvd, and the guy there, Frank, was much more helpful, patient, and willing to communicate. I don't expect these repair places to be miracle workers, I just need someone who keeps me in the loop with what's going on with my device and will take five minutes on the phone to discuss what my options are and what they think I should do. Based on my experience with this place, I think you would have better luck taking your device somewhere else. UPDATE: Just wrapped up the repair with the other place I took it to. Originally, UBreakIFix told me they needed to do a reinstall of the operating system, which would have wiped all my data - they told me it was unsalvageable. The new place was able to salvage the raw files and I merely had to reinstall all my programs myself. By pure laziness/neglect, UBreakIFix managed to irritate me enough to take my computer elsewhere. If I'd gone through with their suggested repair, I would have essentially been wiping my entire hard drive for no reason. read more

Was trading it in but we could not power up the phone so all pics and other items were not able to be captured (we did not have the cloud backup). We dropped off our ps4 two weeks ago. They told us it will take 1-2 business days and if it took any longer they would give us a call. 5 days pass and nothing so I call they told us they have 20 in the back they need to fix And they would get back to us. Two weeks later we haven't heard a response and just called again. They said they would have to take it apart to see what's wrong ( this is why we brought it in the first place...) and that they didn't know when they can look At it. I understand they can be short staffed due to Covid.. but there was no communication on their end.. the associate ended up telling us to just come pick It up. DO NOT BRING YOUR ELECTRONICS HERE!! All the employees here have done was lie and waste my time! I've brought in a PlayStation 4 that needed a very simple hard drive replacement (which should've taken 24-48 hours according to other Ubreakifix locations that i've spoken to over the phone before showing up here to this one). This man Tyler at the front desk tells me it'll take 1-2 Weeks. Here's where i should've listened to my intuition, grabbed my console, controller and cords off their dusty ass desk up front and left the store. But! You know, i wanted to give Tyler a chance. It's not too many people who look like me here in AZ so i thought i'd help a "brother" out by doing business with someone of the same ethnicity. I sign a receipt, give him my console and that's that. A week goes by & I call just to check in to see how everything is going after being very patient. By the way, this is my first call after speaking with him since the day I dropped my console off in store. To sum it up employee Tyler tells me that they haven't even started working on my system. It's been an entire week.. 7 DAYS.. WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING??? I've been running my own graphic design business since highschool, about 5 years and i am very successful and talented with what i do. When running a business you have to be good with time management. The way they run things here at this store is horrible, i can just tell. 1-2 weeks to open up my system and replace a hard drive? are you serious? I then threaten to come in and take my console to another location, he says he'll work on it, see what he can do and give me a call back. About 30 minutes go by and i get a call back from Tyler saying that everything is working "PERFECTLY FINE." I was kinda suspicious as of how quickly he "fixed" my PS4 but he said it's working fine so at the same time I was pretty excited. Now i'm ready to go pick it up in store. I show up with my little brother and head to the back, try to start up my playstation in front of everyone and i'm having the same exact problem I had a week ago. Everyone in there is stuck on stupid as if they even bothered fixing my console which i know they didn't!! They're full of shit!! Now if i would've just grabbed my console, paid and walked out without giving things a test run, i guarantee they would've taken my money and sent me on my way. Luckily I didn't give them a dime and were wise enough to test things before leaving the store. After leaving their store I had immediately took my console to the other location in chandler which i have found very helpful! PLEASE AVOID GOING HERE!! Tyler, the manager of this store, has been my lifesaver. As a doordasher, I rely heavily on keeping my iphone in tip top shape. However today my port was not working at all and to boot my ringtone was not functioning. I was completely stressed out as I was in the middle of a work day and my phone was dying leaving me worried I may not be able to at all. In a pinch, I took it down to this shop as it was one of the few places still open that does this kind of work. Honestly I wasn't sure at all if the diagnosis was going to be good. Absolutely terrible experience here. Brought my kid's iPad in to have the screen fixed after it was broken. They charged me $180 to replace the screen ( more than half the cost of a new iPad btw). When I got the iPad back I noticed a very sizable gap between the screen and the frame. When I enquired about the gap I was told that it was because the is an aftermarket screen. When I asked why it cost $180 then I was told "we only buy the highest quality screens". When I told the own I was not pleased with the results I was told they can take the new screen off and return it to me broken, or I could leave the store. There was zero apology other than "I am sorry you feel that way". On top of all of this the iPad will only charge to 2% now. I can't verify that this happened from their repair, but it seems weird that it was charging fine before I brought it in. Of course they offered to replace the battery for a fee.
