Getting to this Zero star Review finally , that's what the service at this store deserves! Brace your selves. I got time today! I am new to Arizona and have had Verizon for as long as I can remember on my mom's plan. It was way past time for an upgrade and My mom who is the primary on the account , was visiting from Texas so we went to this store here 4901 E Ray Rd, Ste 110, Phoenix, AZ 85044. This day we took home a new IPad, 2 watches and my new phone. The horrible experience started with the advisor Daniel not being upfront about a set up fee for each device we left with that day! He kept saying an activation fee will be billed and you pay the taxes on all items . We understood that fine . We also accepted the fact that he charged us the 35 additional fee for my phone iPad , my watch and my mom's new watch. However nothing was actually set up in the store. I returned today July 15 to turn in my phone and my mom's watch . I did not have my mom's password for her watch. He kept saying he can't do anything until I get that. I understood that, I was frustrated with my mom for her not answering the phone and causing him to wait since he was talking about he needed to go to lunch. My frustration then began with him and the General Manager who just sat there as Daniel keeps telling me how many days I have left and just come back. I repeatedly said I will wait until I get the password I work long hours and 6 days this week I need to leave it here. So I turn to Brenden who is obviously not general manager material because not once did he say . Hi it's cool I can take care of it you just go to lunch! I had to ask him can't you help me while he goes to lunch . He says I don't know you or who the watch belongs to , I'm like clearly he knows and clearly I'm a customer return items! The disrespect my mom received from Daniel in regards to the fee as if she was complaining about it being too much , it was the fact he never explained it then was degrading about us mentioning it. The nonchalant treatment I experienced today from not just the employee but the manager also is not a good look and I've never been treated that way in any other state I've lived in and got service. I could see if it was close to closing but at like 1 o'clock in the afternoon and me being the only customer in the store as a black woman with 3 white male employees, and I'm being told to just come back . Ten minutes later I got my mom on the phone and left the watch. I will never go back to that store. The whole vibe gives discriminatory , entitled and lazy!What kind of manager wants to actually have someone leave there store with that experience . And if the set up was actually done why did we have to Leave the store with the product we were exchanging! He convinced us to get the extra items and I was happy to have them but my moms been a loyal customer for years but for some rude employee to try to make her feel like she should be happy she got the deals if it's coming from him is unacceptable! I think my mom is owed those set up fees because he didn't fully set up anything I had to finish setting my phone up while mid transfer he sent us out the store and told me to keep it close. So I had to go about our day into the next store trying to finish my phone set up . I'd fly across the country before I step foot in this store again because when they go low , I don't go high! Although he was pretty new to Verizon, Sterling went above and beyond to provide us with all the info we needed while also saving us money and getting us out the door with new phones. I came in there to see if I could trade in my phone. I couldn't, which was not a big deal, but then I was told about all these free things available to me. I was told I can get a free iPad and it has Internet and it's only gonna cost $10 a month for 36 months. Cool not a big deal! Then I got an upgraded Internet for free which I didn't really need. It worked fine but since it was free, I took it. After being there for an hour of Danielle setting up all this stuff on my account, he then told me I owed him $242 and that is discounted from 648. My dumbass just paid it because I was so caught off guard. I've spent the last 24 hours crying because I totally got scammed and didn't walk away. I didn't have that money to spend. My mom, my dad and I have been customers for 23 years and four months. I'm very disappointed mostly in myself for not realizing how scamming the retail stores are. read more

This is a horrible store. The salesman Akram is a slimy, dishonest salesperson. Everything he offers ask how much it is and are there any additional fees or monthly fees associated. He will try to trick you. This is not a corporate store so any issues you have Verizon corporate will not be able to help you and the store will not be able to help you. wow, just wow..... rude employees! Went in to buy 2 new Iphone 16 Pro Max 512gb phones....$3,000K worth of phones. Just been to another Verizon store that we waited for 30 minutes to get help from to find out they did not have them in stock and could not tell me if any other stores had stock. Went to this store, asked for the phone, employee asked me (in a weird way) what my name was. Immediately felt like i was in for something. I told him my name and asked if they had the phones in stock. He replied "i would have to check the vault, but I doubt we have them" and then stood there . I replied " GO CHECK" he proceeded to get loud with me and ask me what I said. I repeated "go check". He started to strut around like he was going to pick a fight . I grabbed my wife and left. Dishonest practices, very unprofessional. Insist on getting your receipt before leaving and check it for unwarranted charges. Visited store and purchased S21+ Nov 30. During transaction, rep Kelsey C claimed a change of plan would save us money and reassured that my 9 lines would not be negatively affected. Would later discover we are paying MORE and had lost all our hotspots as well as being charged on a ton of extra junk. While she was gathering and applying case, screen protector, warranty, cables, chargers. I mentioned that I have so much of that stuff already and asked if it was included to which she said that it was part of their promotion. I accepted this answer but also asked for the receipt for the $300+ payment, which she said would be emailed and continued with migrating my data and applying the liquid screen protector which would prevent scratches. Rep Kelsey and Manager Justin went on to discuss the "crazy old" customer they had been helping and even complained about someone who was coming in to complain. Few days later... After 3 phone calls, was finally able to get receipt via Quentin Bias. As expected the receipt had charged me for everything except a screen cleaning kit. Unhappy, I returned to the store the next day to find Kelsey C working. There were already 2 other customers in the store so when she was free I mentioned that I had an issue with the charges I wanted to discuss when she was fee. She said when she was done with the customers she would help. Another rep entered the store, apparently called in to assist. He helped the 2nd customer out as another 2 customers entered over the next hour. After finish with the original customers, each rep chose to move onto the other customers over me by asking small questions and were about to send one customer to a different store and informing the other that they would be right with them to solve a technical issue. I waited patiently for 1.5 hours, not saying anything additional until they went back to the woman with the technical issue to now figure out the issue. Upset, I said "I think we should really solve my issue first". Kelsey agreed and led me to the front counter where I went over the details. As I explained my frustration, Kelsey said that the items I thought were included were promotional and pointed out the $30 I had saved by spending $300+. I remarked that I had told her during the transaction that I had plenty of cables and charges and no use for that specific case or liquid screen protector. She said I could return them if I had the box to which I pointed out that SHE had been the one to open and apply everything and that I had seen no reason to keep empty boxes. I mentioned the phone plan issue as well and was instructed to call in myself and try to change it but that she again had "saved" me money by getting a more expensive plan and getting a discount on it for 3 months. Keep in mind it was STILL more expensive than my previous, more comprehensive plan even with her discount. She claimed there was nothing else she could do, I mentioned that having worked retail Im positive there was always plenty that could be done to which she claimed only Justin had that ability and that I would have to come in when he was in. I left upset and frustrated to say the least. I was able to revert my plan back, but not able to meet with Justin thus far. read more

Absolute rudest customer service rep I have ever dealt with. The girl had red hair. My daughter an I got new phones as a gift for Christmas. We went into Verizon to help hook them up. The girl was so put out to help us because unbeknownst to us my son purchased them at Apple Store. My daughter who NEVER talks bad about anyone said how completely rude this gal was. She started grabbing stuff off the wall to give us for the credit we had for my daughters phone. She gave us a glass protector we didn't ask for. She took it out of the box and started explaining how to do it. Once she said It took 4 hours to cure. I said I didn't want it And she said it was nonreturnable. I was so mad I just took it and left. I can't speak about their sales environment. However, I was astonished by how incompetent they were with regards to a simple service issue. My Galaxy S7 had frozen up while I was out running errands. It had remained like that for about an hour. I had tried all the typical resets that I was familiar with (like holding Power and Home together). Nothing was working. As I was heading home, I decided to run in real fast and see if they could do a quick reset. The person who helped me tried all the same resets I had done. Then, he tried to bring up my account but was unable to. He needed my PIN, which I did not know. We usually use the Verizon store on the other side of the freeway and they have never needed my PIN. Without being able to access my account, he had no solution for me. Even if he did, the solution, as he said it, was going to be to text me a reset code. What? You were going to text my frozen phone. How was that going to work? It should be noted that there were 3 other employees in the store and no other customers. Not once did this employee think to ask any of the others if they knew any other reset tricks. Realizing that I was not going to get any help, I left. Five minutes later I was home and able to get on the Internet. A quick Google search came up with the answer as the very first link. Apparently, the reset on a Galaxy S7 is the Power and Volume Down buttons. While that is not the traditional reset, it is not like this is an unpopular phone. I would think that a smart phone representative should be able to know the basic resets of the more popular phones. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location for any of my future phone purchases. I will continue to use the Verizon store on the other side of the freeway. read more

First off, I didn't realize this was an authorized dealer because there is no sign other than the tiny print on the door. Keenan, the sales rep sped through the whole process which I should've known was a big indicator to run the other direction, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I went to complete an upgrade and add an iPad to my account. What I didn't know is he completely added another line without my permission. I even questioned it when I was signing, and he assured me that wasn't the case. When I went to refund and reverse all business done there, the man who handled my refund was rude and unprofessional. I had a problem with my modem for my internet and went to see the Apache Junction, AZ. Store on Apache Trail. The young man named Dylan explained to me about your Internet offer. After considering all my options, price and having to pay someone to install my modem, with the ISP I have now (not Verizon) and after having to purchase a new modem he told me he felt what I should do. Dylan was so very informative and helpful to me. He took his time explaining everything to me and was always smiling. It is such a pleasure to go to your store and "feel important". I went in a week ago to try to do a phone replacement on my broken iPhone. Unfortunately that's not an option - i was to go through the third part phone insurance to move forward. This is something that can be done with an at home computer, but i was fortunate enough to have the girl on duty help me. We spent at least 1-2 hours jumping through hoops to get the claim satisfied and turn off find my iPhone. She (wish i could remember her name - short brown hair, early 20s and super sweet) came up with creative solutions to each obstacle we encountered. She generally went above and beyond to help me. I asked what time the store closes to make sure i wasn't keeping her past. She assured me i had plenty of time. Shortly thereafter my issue was resolved and i took off. I saw the employee hurrying to her car as i drove away at a time that must have definitely been past her clock out time. Phone troubles are one of the largest inconveniences we experience today with how seriously we rely on the technology. I can't express how much i needed the help and creativity of the employee on duty. I genuinely appreciate the help and determination of this particular staff member. He has excellent people skills and is so accommodating. Justin truly cares about my story and experience. He made sure to understand my needs and values, and guide me with all my options. I don't often go in for the new and latest phones and accessories, but he made sure to set me up with the best deal that would make sense for me and my life. When I went back to inquire about more, he again went above and beyond to help me out. From what I've noticed, this location is often busy. I went to GoWireless on Oak Point road in Amherst on 5/15/18 to pick up a charging cord and ask a couple of questions about my plan. I have 5 phones on my plan that shared 15 GB and, thanks to Robert, I was able to switch to an unlimited data plan for $25.00 LESS per month. Not only that I was able to add 2 Gizmo's for my grandkids to my account. Robert really took the time and was patient to explore all plan options to get me the best deal. It was nice to feel appreciated as a long time customer. The Corporate Verizon stores seem to care less about retaining your business - only getting new business. Every thing that could have went wrong with the purchase of my new phone happened here at this location. Staff was friendly but not very knowledgeable. I was quoted incorrect fees, was sent home with the incorrect SIM card on phone. I was also told a return shipping label would be mailed to me. Over a week later nothing! I called and ended up being transferred to Verizon directly and they helped me. They didn't notate my account either that I was supposed to get the $200 credit since I ordered a new phone before that promo ended. Spoke to representative there is no service charge if credit or debt card is used? I've heard of service charges on cards but cash? Right off the bat we were greeted with a friendly smile and warm hello and we're immediately put on a list to be helped. After maybe a min tops we were directed to meet with Christophe who was awesome! He was not only friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful he was also very charismatic and gave us impeccable customer service! The only reason I gave them 1 star was because you couldn't give NEGATIVE scores! I will NEVER shop here again. This is NOT a true Verizon store. They're a FRANCHISE store that only purchases products from Verizon and re-sells them on Verizon's network. Their RULES and Verizon's TRUE stores have a different set of rules as far as returns and warranties go, etc... Today I attempted to return a product that was sold to me under false pretenses. I have a Pacemaker/Defibrillator and purchased this product to use with my medical device, so they could check it remotely. I don't think that it was done INTENTIONALLY, at least I HOPE it wasn't done intentionally, but after today I'm starting to wonder. This week I had an appt where I was told what I had purchased will not work with ANY medical devices. These devices transfer data (via the Fax theory) and these wireless home phone devices don't work like that. When I tried to return it., UNOPENED & UNUSED, the manager called 911 on me, AFTER I had agreed to ANY charges he had to charge me for taking back the product. But I'm just not paying for something for 2 years that I not only don't really need, but that the product doesn't do what I NEED it to do. I don't know about you, but I can't afford to pay for something that is actually WORTHLESS to me. He tried to intimidate me with all these re-stocking fees as well as his threats of my losing another discount, on something else etc... When that didn't work, he made the decision to call 911 on me for telling him "Then he could KEEP the sonofabitch". I said that immediately after he REFUSED to take it back and told me there's NOTHING he's going to do to help me. At that point I picked up the box, moved it to the other side of the counter... DROPPED the box... (it dropped hard but was NOT SLAMMED), when I said... "You can keep the sonofabitch then!" Let me also note that there was no one else in the store, just me., so I did not make a scene in front of any other customers. Next thing I know he's telling me to "...leave the store or he'd call the cops". Not being intimidated by a "CELLPHONE SALESMAN", I told.him I wasn't going anywhere until I get this handled. (I was also on hold with "Verizon Customer Service" at the time, who had previously TOLD me (20 mins earlier) to take it back to the store and if I had ANY problems returning it to call them from the store where they could speak to the manager) In the meantime the manager (Zach) decides to CALL 911 and in about 5 minutes, 3-5 cops show up, while I'm still on hold sitting in a chair not saying a word! The cops walk in and ask him what the problem was, and he tells them I was throwing stuff around and cursing at him. When I chimed in to the cop and said... "I'm a real problem over here huh? ONE of the 5 of the "Doughnut Brigade", decided he was going to try to GOAD me into something so he could cuff me. I didn't fall for his trap, so the hairlip didn't get his satisfaction But the bottom line on this issue is that this manager didn't want to deal with the problem and due to his LACK of "Customer Service" skills, he called the Police on a customer who had been with Verizon less than 30 days, with 3 OTHER devices connected to my account. So, for a couple of bucks, he chose to piss off a BRAND NEW CUSTOMER, that very easily could've LEFT Verizon cuz AT&T, T-mobile and Sprint are ALL paying early termination fees. AT&T's begging me to come back. VERIZON corporate itself was GREAT! They ended up working with me and decided it was better to make a customer happy over a couple dollars than it was to call the COPS on him. VERIZON itself is WONDERFUL and took care of the problem IMMEDIATELY. Even they were appalled at this guy calling the cops. I will continue to be a Verizon Customer... But BEWARE!!! This store is NOT a Verizon Store. They're a bunch shysters selling products under Verizon's name, that ARE NOT BEHOLDEN to Verizon's Corporate Rules, Policies and Business Standards! Instead take the time and travel ACROSS I-10 to the CORPORATE Verizon Store on 54th Street in Chandler. But do yourself a favor and PLEASE STEER CLEAR of this store! You'll be sorry if you don't... Gowireless aka Verizon here in Ahwatukee is a good store. Wireless Consultant Christine is Awesome! She was not my original consultant, I wish she was though. Christine went out of her way to take care of me on my return visit. I had ordered a Driod X and she was able to help me with all my questions.
