The Tempe store advertises holiday hours both on Yelp (reset last week) and on Google. But they were closed two hours early. I do think a store should stand by its hours, especially at holiday time. This is the only store that has the battery we need. read more

Avoid this place. There's no reason to come here with SO many other places to buy batteries. Go to any AutoZone and they too will install car batteries. I called on a Sunday and spoke to a monotone human drone. His attitude should have been a red flag but my wife's car needed a new battery (with no warning of course) and this place was close by. The drone told me over the phone what their battery options are and that they install batteries. We get there and the guy's even more of a drone than he was over the phone. The place was dead as a door nail yet he said he couldn't "technically" install it because he was the only one working. Keep in mind we barely made it to this place with the car battery nearly dead. Now we had to cross our fingers and hope the car started again so we could go elsewhere to get a battery installed. The drone just stared at us like he just had a lobotomy. Note to human drone: DON'T TELL PEOPLE OVER THE PHONE THAT YOU CAN/WILL INSTALL A BATTERY AND THEN CHANGE YOUR STORY WHEN THEY SHOW UP! Note to management: Get rid of the human drone that was working on 6/17. He's quite worthless. It was very charitable for you to hire a lobotomized drone, but it just isn't working out. I have taken my iPhones and tablets to batteries plus for years. They have fixed them all from screens to batteries. The key to success is awareness. I say this with kind gloves and love. Just like with any company you will sadly get employees that either simply be trained up or deselected from their partnership with the company. I have ran into two at this location that have turned me away and then I contacted another location saying they actually carry a part and do the service. Yet I still highly recommend the company even though two employees that are new at this location chose the type of money this location wants to make based on their actions. Second for iPhone screen repair, tech was not in but but my punk rock attendant went the extra mile by calling another store for same day service on a holiday weekend. Took my phone to get repaired and failed to repair the lcd and back glass all the edges were lifting and camera did not work. They gave me the run around for 2 weeks and installed a new back glass which still was lifting failed to repair the front screen and camera. Today was my first time visiting this location. Let me tell you their staff goes above and beyond! Robert was the staff member assisting me and I was blown away by his customer service. I've been in the customer service industry for several years and know how rare it is to find someone like Robert. My recommendation is to keep him around for as long as you possibly can! Don't do it. Very unfriendly service. Took too long to get a simple battery installed in my iPhone. The guy behind the counter needs some training in customer service. He made me feel like HE was the customer and I had the service to provide. He even refused to let me on his wifi to make sure the phone was working properly, stating in his unfriendly tone, "wifi is not for customers to use". WTH??? Without customers there is no need for wifi! I wish I would have seen the phone repair store just across the street prior to coming into this place. I've had good experiences at other Batteries Plus stores, but would advise against this particular one. read more

Obviously if you need batteries this would be the smart place to go! You'll find a battery for just about anything , but besides that you're going to find friendly and prompt service. I've been here a handful of times in efforts to replace watch and batteries for my scale in which I have a love & hate relationship with. My Mom's watch took a dump in which we assumed it was a simple battery replacement, wrong! After the salesman chose the correct one and graciously offered to put it in let me know it wasn't the battery, he then recommended a jewelry repair shop. When my scale began acting crazy, fading and blinking I assumed it was giving me a subliminal message to get my chunky trunks off of it, but in efforts to keep torturing myself I went in for more batteries. The salesman recommended a better battery that for a few cents more should last longer, problem solved let the torture commence! Honestly for whatever type of battery you need these guys will have it, with great customer service included! read more

I took it back and they replaced it for free...with a lifetime warranty battery! "If you ever have any trouble with it, just bring it back and we'll get you a new one". Wow! This guy intentionally put in a defective battery into my iPhone. He admitted that he had a defective batch and this was his last battery. He couldn't put the old one back in because when you peel it off you destroy it. When the phone wouldn't charge in the shop he told me continue charging it for a day, then if still didn't work to take it to another branch for a replacement. He was attempting to get rid of his inventory and was using me as his mule. What a waste of time and effort and disrespect to your customer. read more

Went in to find a specialty appliance bulb. I found one close enough and went to pay. The entire time I was in the store the salesperson at the counter was chatting loudly with a customer about the oncoming recession, how unemployment figures are wrong, yadda, yadda, yadda. I waited. I cleared my throat a couple of times. Rolled my eyes. No progress seemed to be made on checking out the guy in front of me, just more talk about the economy. Well, yeah, the economy probably will crash if no one gets around to actually selling any product to the customers. I eventually hung the lightbulb back on the shelf and walked out of the store.
