I rarely write reviews but when you receive this kind of exceptional service, you have to. I called on Friday to have my golf cart batteries replaced and was given an appointment for the following Tuesday. I called based on a friend's recommendation and I am so very glad I did. The technician - Ian - called first thing in the morning to verify my address and his arrival time. He was right on time and after checking the cart over, got right to work. Before replacing the batteries he completely - and I mean completely - cleaned the compartment to look like new! After installing all six batteries I received a lesson on maintaining the new batteries and the cart in general. He was beyond courteous and pleasant. As all cart owners know, this is a pretty big expense but when done so well with such professional service, it makes it a great experience. Great job Battery Guy! I got 6 new batteries in February 2021 from The Battery Guy. I'm currently having issues with needing to charge my batteries twice a day. On calling The Battery Guy, I was told they'd charge me $85 for a service call. The batteries were to have a 12 month warranty. The Battery Guy is amazing! We have a little "gadabout" trailer we were interested in converting the 12 volt battery to double 6 volt batteries. Six volt batteries are sometimes hard to find. I needed to replace my 48-volt battery system in my golf card and called The Battery Guy for a quote. I also called other companies to get a comparison and finally decided on the Lithium-Ion battery, set an installation date almost 2 weeks out. A little disappointed but could deal with it. A few days later, Bo, called and said that he could do an earlier date which was great. The day of installation, the crew was on time was completed within 45 minutes. After the crew left, I inspected their work a little closer and found the mounting screws were not adequate on one side of the battery. I also found that after 4-5 hours of charging the meter showed 47%, continued to charge overnight and found that the charge was still 47%. Being concerned I called and spoke with Bo about my issues. He said the battery may be bad and they would be out the next morning to replace it. The next morning Bo arrived and found that the connector was bad from the factory which needed to replace the charger. Bo immediately went to his shop, brought a new charger and replaced it. He secured the battery properly, plugged it in and immediately started charging and was reflected by the meter. I'm completely pleased with the new battery and especially with the rapid response to my issues! Great job, Bo! I would definitely recommend their business to my friends. read more

Sean came to put new batteries in our newly purchased golf cart today. We bought the cart which is in pristine condition except that it had sat in a garage for the past 3 years and the batteries were stone cold dead. Just had new batteries put in my golf cart by this company and could not be happier with the service I got. The young man that installed the new batteries was so nice, very courteous, and spent time telling me the correct way to keep the batteries in good shape, and make them last longer. When I called to make the appointment they were about 2 weeks out. They called a few days later and had an opening the next day, which I really appreciated. They called to give me a 2 hour window on arrival and were right on time. I have used this company before, and I will definitely use them again. All Talk! Contacted this company to replace the lead acid batteries with RoyPow Lithium in my Columbia ParCar Golf cart and was told they could do it no problem. We text back and forth and was put off by such stories as batteries will be in on Thursday and he would call back to schedule the work, once again attempted to contact Billy by text on a Friday (no answer) and then again the following week, with no response. The following Friday once again i was told the batteries would be landing Monday and that he (Billy) would be in contact with me when he got into office; haven't heard from him since. Might sound like a good deal price wise, but I had to go elsewhere as this company was lacking in any pre purchase customer service. read more

Bought Trojan batteries for my golf cart from this business in early August 2019. A Battery Guy installer arrived and removed my old watering system for the old batteries which they were to replace during the new cart battery installation. This was included in the cost of the new golf cart batteries. I was promised a new battery watering system and it's been 2 months since the new battery installation. Still not installed. Have called twice and I have been promised that they would be in contact with me to install the new system. This company must be having cash flow problems and not fulfilling what they said they would do. Over promise and under deliver! They broke my windshield while transporting my cart. 5 weeks later all I've gotten are lies and empty promises about when the replacement will be available. They say they'll be out with the new one on a specific day and time and then they no show, no call. This has happened at least 5 times now. They can not be trusted at all. read more
