I stopped here yesterday to replace my key fob for my 2006 Hummer H3. I got it in 2005, & it's still the original fob & battery. The only reason I needed it replaced is because I have a habit of putt my keys in my front pocket & the small piece connecting it to the key ring broke. I was expecting to pay $400-$500 dollars for a replacement. The gentleman who helped me was friendly and knowledgeable. I got super lucky that the had a shell for my fob. It was $30. He was able to just replace the outside & use my current interior parts in the new one. He even checked the battery when I asked him to. He said it was fine. So out the door quickly & a huge cost saver. You can bet I will be going there when I do have to replace the entire fob. read more

I got my iPhone 12 battery and screen replacement here. The customer service was nice and very respectful, but the Apple parts are not genuine so I would suggest not switching that stuff out for iPhone as it can cause problems but otherwise they did return the battery for me and they were very nice if you don't mind not having it non-genuine battery or Apple replacement and that's fine, it's possible my phone charging port could've been bad as well, but my phone was still overheating after using non-genuine parts read more

I needed a new key fob battery for my vehicle so I arrived here at this location at 8:30 AM. The window on their store says they open at 8 AM. The lights are off, the doors are locked. How unprofessional can you get? I have my one-year-old with me and this is extremely inconvenient. I waited 20 minutes out front, and still, no one has arrived. I got my battery replaced several months ago and no issues. All of a sudden I started having touch screen issues. I went to a cell phone repair place and he suggested replacing the screen. When he replaced it he found that the phone had a cheap after market screen on it. I have never had the screen replaced and this location is the only store I've had my phone serviced at. The repair guy suggested that perhaps it got broken while trying to have the battery replaced and it was just swapped out. I guess I'll never know since no one ever said anything to me. But this store is the only place I've had my phone worked on so unless the cell phone fairy is swapping screens while we sleep, this place is responsible for the switch. This store just replaced my Samsung 8S screen, which I had cracked. It was a great experience from start to finish! I booked appointment on line last night, showed up, dropped my phone, and it was done ahead of estimated time. The gentleman that helped me was super polite! I had a previous appointment set with a place in the mall, and when I showed up they told me they didn't have my type screen, and they had called me... which they had not. I am so glad I found this Batteries + Bulbs store! It was a much better outcome, and i even bought batteries, too Also, it was $70 less than what the mall store quoted me! It pains me to have to write this review. I've been a happy customer of Batteries Plus for at least 15 years, primarily for buying replacement batteries for my cars. Typically, the service and customer satisfaction I've gotten from them has been excellent. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite of normal on today's visit. The sole employee working at the store was incredibly rude. He seemed to be very preoccupied and wanted our business--which ultimately lasted less than 5 minutes--over as quickly as possible. (No one else was in the store at the time.) I had brought in a battery for replacement. He immediately began asking about how much the car had been driven recently, and said he would have to put the battery on a tester for 5 hours. I responded by asking if all that was necessary to buy a replacement. At that point, he walked over, got the identical battery and started the sale. I mentioned that the battery had a 5 year warranty, and had been purchased a little over 4 years before. He immediately said, "We don't do pro-rating". Batteries Plus' excellent warranty service is what brought me to the company years ago. I asked him when the policy of not honoring the warranty began, and he said in the two years he had worked there they had never provided pro-rating on batteries. I ended up buying the battery at full price (I wasn't expecting much to be left in the way of prorating anyway, as close as the battery was to the end of its warranty period.) I'm certain I'm not conveying his bad attitude at all well enough, but my son and I walked out of the store wondering what had just happened. All that said, I'm hoping that quality of service and policy is only at this particular location. I wasn't at the location I normally go to for car batteries. This one was simply more convenient to go to at the time. I'll likely continue to do business with my regular store but, sadly, I'll think twice about returning here again. read more

He took the time to look up the connections and ensure they would fit my gate opener and indeed they did. Programmed two new key fobs in less than ten minutes and checked all remotes & door switches and started the car to be sure! All this for considerably less than dealer prices! Brought in an iPhone 6 to replace the screen to the power/southern store. After the screen was replaced, I picked up the phone and it was working for a couple hours, then turned off and wouldn't turn on completely (Boot loop). I took it back to power/southern where they told me to take it to Val vista/Elliot where they have the tools to find the problem. Told me it was unfixable, to get a refund from the power store and pickup the phones from them (this is the 2nd phone that has just "stopped working" due to an "unfixable internal problem" in a row that I have had batteries+ work on). I got my refund, then when I picked up my phone from Val vista, the screen was busted and the kid just says "yea sorry, we dropped it". Don't trust these people to handle anything valuable. They could improve by replacing my phone since this is the 2nd time my phone has fried within 24 hours of them working on it read more

I stopped in the other day and spoke to who I believe to be the owner. I told him what I was looking for and he told me in a very rude manner (we don't carry those) so I proceeded to ask him if he knew where I could find one and again in a discourteous manner said NO! At this point I was not going to alloying this person to be rude to me any longer so I said fine and left. His next RUDE comment was (you can't expect me to know everything) I replied, no but I do expect you to be more polite. Then, as I was exiting the door he yelled ( F- YOU ) to me. I was shocked. The worst! Bought a battery less than 6 months ago, has never held a charge. Wanted to ride, but tired of knowing if it would start or not. Trickle charged for 12 hours, wouldn't start. Took it in to exchange, and was told they'd need to charge and test it to determine a replacement or not. Explained I had charged it 12 hours, and no go. They asked for patience, they'd need about 3 hours before they could test. Not happy. Told them no need to test, I'd buy another elsewhere, if this is the service I can expect. So they offered to sell me a new one. Yes, they were serious. Went to Harley, fought a new battery, and installed. Went for a ride. Got a call saying the battery was bad, they'd warranty it. Are you kidding me? Told them 4 hours earlier it was bad, apparently it's up to me to prove them wrong and get the warranty they promised. Was quoted corporate policy, apparently it's buyer beware, any inconvenience is on you. Will not be back to this, or any location. Should've offered a refund, must be against policy too read more

I go here often, and they always seem to have exactly what I'm looking for, as they have every kind of light bulb and battery imaginable. Their prices are also significantly better than you would find at Target or Walmart, and the customer service is fantastic! Whenever I go in, I am always greeted by a friendly face, and they are always able to answer all my questions. If I don't know exactly what I need, they are able to help me identify the exact battery or light bulb I need. Also, their ability to replace cell phone batteries and replace parts on cell phones has been a HUGE money saver, as it is significantly cheaper to get my battery or another part replaced on my phone than it is to buy a new phone. Shouldn't have come here to get my iPhone battery changed. So the battery they used was not even supposed to be sold at all. It's an OEM brand. I had to take my phone to another location to see why my phone was bulging from the back piece and they had informed me that the battery was about to explode and caused till it to swell from the back. The manager there asked me who did it for me and said it was weird they gave me that type of battery. Good thing they changed it out or I'd be toast, literally!
