I actually wasn't able to get my phone working, but ProFix did a great job trying. I had an older HTC that was dead for years. Figured I would have Julio take a look at it, and maybe replace the battery. At least I could retrieve pics and items from the hard drive. He ordered the battery and 'hotwired' it to the motherboard. It didn't work right away. Then I asked if I could leave it with him to charge, and maybe see if something would change. A few days later and the phone didn't respond. It was an 'oh well' moment for me, but Julio put the effort in. He didn't charge me for the battery or diagnostic. Very knowledgeable, professional, and overall good business. After three years and not a crack, I dropped my Moto X just right and its screen smashed into sooo many pieces. It was completely non-functional. I called around and evidently they only made around 8 of the first gen Moto X, because no one in town had the part and it would have to be ordered in (I tried them all.) I decided to make the most of it and just go unplugged for a week, so I took my phone into the place that quoted the best price, ProFix. I was all prepared to be out of touch with the world for a week when the dude at ProFix asked if I would like a loaner phone while mine was waiting for parts. Yes please. Saved my butt. Even though I was all prepared for 20th century living, I actually received a couple important calls that week that would have been bad to miss. Btw, texting on a flip phone is absolute hell, but still better than nada. One small issue, but not enough to cost a star, is when I first showed up it was during business hours and the door was locked. Wasn't sure what was up and almost left, but the owner showed up right as I was about to leave. Looks like it might be a one man show, so maybe cut him some slack if he has to run out for lunch or something. Probably investing in a "Back in 5 Minutes" sign would be a good idea.
