Went here to inquire about my bill and potentially end my 20 year relationship with Verizon because our bill was really high. Instead, I ended up upgrading my wife and my devices to the iPhone 16. The Verizon Rep, J, explained what a great deal it was and we should definitely do it. Okay, fine. Went and upgraded it. The Verizon rep initiated the transfer of data by placing the mine and my wife's phones on top of each other, and, while it took a couple hours to get everything done, we were happy and on our way. Couple of weeks go by and we notice that there are pictures missing from our camera rolls, specifically from our daughter's birth. I got back in and take a closer look and I'm missing 4 years (2021-2024) worth of photos. When I inquired about the lack of photos, J didn't really have an answer for me (to his credit he did text me back and tried to help). He explained that this "never happens". The problem I had was when he went back and told me that he always reminds his customers "multiple times" to check their photos and information before he wipes the old phone. The problem is...he never did. He fuckin lied to cover himself. I know it's my responsibility to know whether my photos were synced to the cloud, backed up, etc., but it wasn't on my mind because I wasn't planning on getting a phone that day. A reminder before wiping the phones, a heads up, or some sort of like hey you should check your camera roll because when I wipe this phone it's irreversible would've been really nice. My wife is still currently missing chunks of months from her camera roll and I am missing years. Apple had no response either, but the rep from Apple was pretty incredulous at the fact that Verizon rep would wipe and take it so fast without making sure that everything was all set on my end. Lesson learned. Always go with your first instinct and don't trust salesman that have been "doing it for 20 years". Really wonderful service at this location! Gunner was very helpful and fun to work with. He presented different options for renewing our service and helped get the phones up and running. It's so nice to now have a Verizon agent we know we can call or go to for help. (He even called each of our family members a few days after to make sure all was going well!) I had not been to this location previously and just needed to quickly switch out my son's IPhone. For some reason it wouldn't turn on. I did end up going in with the rest of the family and had a wonderful experience. We walked in and Nick came right up to help us (family of three on a family plan with 5 lines ). He had my son's phone working within seconds . Since we were already there we browsed and Nick was very knowledgeable about our current promotions and about all the features on the new iPhones as well as the new Samsung phones. A full professional staff there to help and give you options. My son wanted an old school iPhone with the home button. My old phone was breaking down. I had to get a new one. The sales rep who helped me assured me the upgrade fee of $35 would be waived as I had been a loyal customer for 14 years. Came into this location because I was having trouble with my SIM card on my iPhone 13 which wouldn't allow me to have service. Harshal assisted me in getting my phone fixed and he also showed me options to get my phone upgraded to a new iPhone 15. They had a great trade in offer which i did. The storage size and color I wanted they were sold out of so Harshal put his number in my phone and told me he would reach out as soon as it can in probably within the next 3 days. 1 day later he texted me letting me know that my new phone arrive and that he would be there til 8 to come in and pick it up. I was working and unable to come that day so I reached out to him when I was free to come in and make sure since he was already providing great service to use him in the pick up and set up of my new device. I cannot rave enough about the fantastic service I receive from Nick P at the Verizon store. I went in for a family phone upgrade and Nick talked us through all plan options. With this being a family update it took multiple visits with each member to switch the phones. Nick kept in touch and followed up to ensure he was there when we needed him. Nick was courteous and thoughtful through the whole process. Nick asked questions and listened to what I wanted never making me feel bad for not selecting a service or discount. BBB complaint against with authorized dealer for Verizon This store. Please do not go to this store. I am a new customer who just switched from T-Mobile. I walked in to return my mobile devices to get my account rebates/credit. As I walked in the store the staff profiled me, disrespected me all after I produced the physical devices in their packing to send back. All they had to do is tell me to use the slip, box it and ask if I needed anything else. They are hostile and lack integrity. The company running this store should be ashamed of the people they hire. They should not be authorized to use the Verizon name to do business if this is how they treat customers. Most important factors was the two managers on staff were disrespectful. I sent this also to the BBB to look in to this and if possible communicate to Verizon that they have a third party reseller tarnishing the company name. If I did not know the difference I would have left Verizon as a company. But I am clear this is a 3rd party reseller that has very little character. I can't not recommend this store enough. This is not a corporate store, it is a third party, and does not properly honor Verizon's promotions. We purchased an iPad at this location as part of a promotion. The wording in the promotion stated that we should have received a $100 "instant credit" but we were assured by the sales associate and the "manager" that we spoke with that it would be honored by Verizon as a rebate. After speaking with Verizon they confirmed that it should have been an instant credit and now this store is giving us the run around. Especially if you're a store dedicated to one carrier you should know what you're doing. The supposed manager that we were dealing with at the store was rude with us when we questioned it initially and I should have walked out then, lesson learned.
