The bill they gave me differs from what my credit card account states. Sneaky!!!! The total cost was $438 to replace a hard drive. That is ridiculous. I am self-employed, I cannot leave my laptop somewhere for a day or two. I called a friend and he logged into my computer and fixed what I needed in 5 minutes. This was the best customer service experience I have ever received in tech. The apple store quoted me at $1300 and sean completely repaired my water damaged 2017 macbook pro and was able to recover all of my data for just $400. My computer was under reasonable use conditions and slightly dirty when I gave it to him. He returned it back in sparkling condition having cleaned thoroughly the interior and exterior.
