Mike was great to work with. He was up front with all the prices and was in constant communication with me. He stayed with in the budget discussed and gave me additional services, free of charge. Once the work was completed, he thoroughly explained all of his work and gave advice on how to properly maintain my gaming machine. He was always polite, respectful and demonstrated high levels of expertise. I would highly recommend him. read more

Short story: I paid them $300 to get a gaming PC back up and running. It broke again within a month. Same issue. He agreed to repair it under warranty, but after multiple weeks, and additional expense, they weren't able to fix it. When I lightly pushed back about the delays the owner threw a tantrum and told me to come get my machine but he was only giving me back half the money. I'll spare you all back-and-forth details but scroll through the reviews here and see how he responds to negative feedback. He's dismissive and lacks maturity. That's him. That's what you get. If you're cool with that type of behavior, have a computer issue that's easy to solve, and lots of time to get it solved, then AIT could be a good fit for you. If you want a professional that can confidently solve your issue in a reasonable amount of time, then you might consider other options. Edit: Look no further than the owner's rambling response to this review for evidence of my points above. Zero accountability, its always someone else's fault he wasn't successful. read more

Here's this persons idea of good business. Took my machine cuz it wouldn't boot up. He said it was trash. Sold me a new machine that I later learned was a 2004 Dell. When I couldn't update to win 11 this was his response: Good afternoon... That machine is a refurbished Dell professional PC we set up for you for a discounted $400 budget in September 2024 ... We can perform a clean upgrade on that chassis to Windows 11 and add extra RAM that windows 11 requires for an additional $150 cash budget .. Let us know what you decide to do... Once we complete this additional IT upgrade work that machine is good for next 4 - 5 years to use in a secure manner.. read more

Mike is great to work with. I had him check my work PC for a hard drive problem. Unfortunately it was old and damaged and was not able to recover my files, but was able to update my computer to a windows 11 and it is running great. Will use Mike in the future. read more

I work with IT Service providers and I can't thank Mike enough for the outstanding service he provided. He was able to recover my photos from a damaged hard drive quickly and efficiently, which meant the world to me. What truly set Mike apart was his compassion--he was incredibly kind and supportive during a very difficult time following the loss of my son. He made sure I had everything I needed and handled everything with care and urgency. Mike was professional, empathetic, and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him and Advanced IT Solutions to anyone in need of reliable and thoughtful tech support. read more

Brought my computer in for operational issues. A lot of system drivers were not operating. They preformed a total computer clean up and test. When I came to pick up the computer they set me down and we ran a bunch of tests and system operating functions. Very good experience. read more

Asked for a quote on a new gaming PC build with a used GPU. During the call Mike was quite disrespectful, ignored what I was telling him, cut me off mid sentence multiple times, and insulted my $100-$200 budget. After all that quoted me $400-$500 for assembly and windows install. (12/17) After leaving this review, Mike decided to comment a version of the story with some creative liberties. As I find it hilarious I'll share the details with you, and let you judge. _____________________________________________ My Project What type of service do you need? PC Assembly and Setup When do you require this service? I'm flexible Are there any other details you'd like to share? Will have mostly new parts, a used HDD, PSU and GPU and a brand new case. Would like it to be assembled and have the bios setup if possible. ______________________________________________ In the call I inquired Mike about assembly and bios setup, he was instantly hostile and rude talking over me and cutting me off multiple times (as mentioned above) In his comment he refers to me as "another Yelper person that likes to cowardly fling sh..t on the internet" Love this, just attacking the customer right out the gate He proceeds to accuse me of attempting to fix a Pc of mostly new parts "of course you already spent hours trying to You Tube video fix your own machine" This is great cause not only had the parts not come in yet, but nothing was broken, I was asking about putting it together and getting it running... He then accuses me of being pissed and in a "very cheap or even broke mood" More insults to my $100-$200 budget, you love to see it folks He then insults me one more time "We deal with idiots like you all the time" and defends the the $400-$500 quoted price for a New Build as its "the price a legitimate business has to pay to interface efficiently with the public." To summarize the comments and behavior of this "legitimate business" show a lack of respect and integrity. When asked about a simple build job that could have been just respectfully declined and move on, Mike of Advanced IT Solutions chose instead to devolve into hurling insults and dishonesties to disparage a potential client. I asked for help with a wfi-fi connection issue. They promptly responded & told me my computer was infected with malware. I got quotes from several companies & decided to go with another one. I texted them to tell them I was getting help elsewhere and got such a fantastically rude response it made me laugh. So, I guess the good part is they are quick to respond. read more

We came in with a complicated case (to us). My daughter is a senior year biomedical engineering student. Her MacBook Pro was running iOS and windows, it contained all of her research, projects, an in-process patent pending medical device. This laptop basically held all documents for her future career, it wouldn't allow her to so much as log in and it was not backed up. We were not taking the situation lightly. We came to Mike because he is a straight shooter, professional, reliable, trustworthy and quite frankly the best around in the greater Phx area. There is never a need for a second opinion when dealing with Mike. Mike ordered a new laptop for my daughter and transferred everything over from her old device identically. We are beyond pleased. Advanced IT solutions you are the Gold standard!!! You are appreciated beyond words and to say you saved the day is an understatement. Thank you. read more

Will insult you if you want repairs instead of an entire new system. The owner even suggested a proper fix, being a replacement boot drive, and then immediately reneged, yelling about crowbars and wallets. Also a liar, claiming my PC was a decade older and that Windows 10 has already expired (not until October 2025). Everything was about trying to sell instead of fix, and after admitting the repair wasn't worth his time he became more abrasive, following me out of his hole in the wall shop with its beat up old furniture to continue yelling. Ultimately I just bought a cheap boot drive at Walmart and had Best Buy set it up, all for the same overall cost this guy had reneged on. His website is a slickly produced packet of corpo lies being peddled by someone without a scrap of actual professionalism. read more

I recently found this IT firm while searching YELP. Our banking accounts were hacked. The bank required us to closed our current accounts and open new ones. They also supinated that our computers be cleaned. We had four computers, two were old and two we used. Advanced IT Solutions wiped clean our old computers and had them recycled. The two active computers were cleaned. Mine had malware. The intruders most likely entered through my wife's email. Mike's education on how to keep our computers clean was outstanding. I feel better about our computer security going forward. read more

Amazing service. Highly recommend. I went to a different IT place that wasn't very helpful. Growing up, my parents got our family a nice computer and we had tons of photos stored on it. Including ones from milestone moments like weddings, graduations, etc. As we got older, we all started to switch to personal laptops and iPads and had moved the old PC to the shed in my parent's backyard. Over time, I started to miss some of the old photos as we had that PC before the cloud days. After enduring several hot Arizona summers in the shed, I grew nervous that the computer may have become too damaged to retrieve the old photos. I purchased a new power cable, and a VGA to HDMI adapter for me connect it to my current monitor and try to retrieve the old files but had no luck. The computer powered on, but I wasn't able to get it to work with my monitor so I was losing hope on retrieving our old files and photos. This was when I decided to leave it to the pros and reached out to Advanced IT Solutions via Yelp after putting in a job request. Mike had replied back to me and was realistic about the chances of the hard drive still being readable. He was optimistic as the Dell computer my family purchased used really high quality hard drive components. He told me that if I go through them, there is no charge if the hard drive isn't readable and if it is, he told me a flat fee price which I thought was very reasonable compared to the quotes from others (large first hour fee, followed by fees every 15 minutes afterwards, etc.) In the end, he was able to retrieve all the files and photos and placed it on a flash drive for me. He even confirmed to me that the flash drive he gave me is the only other copy as I was a bit weary of there being potential copies of our data going around. My family and I are ecstatic to be able to view these photos again and have already backed them up a couple of times now to be safe. I'd highly recommend Advanced IT Solutions and look forward to using them again in the future if needed. read more

I needed help with a new laptop I had bought. I looked under computer repair in Yelp and chose Advanced. Mike was not only able to set up my computer the way I was trying to do and failed, he gave me a great demonstration of everything and made sure that it was to my satisfaction of how I wanted it. When it came to the bill I was very pleased at how reasonable his costs were. I highly recommend this to all my friends and to any of you out there on Yelp. read more

I highly recommend Advanced IT Solutions and Mike (the owner) for the most professional, respectful, and knowledgeable computer service! I was hacked and witnessed my computer being remotely attacked at 4 am, despite being turned off the night before. In shock, I watched the bright screen for only a minute while a "ghost" scrolled through multiple files with a cursor and opened my bank accounts. I shut it down and unplugged the battery back-up. I reviewed several services for computer repair (large and small businesses) and then called the closest to me. Several businesses were eliminated quickly because they really did not understand what the issue was or they inidcated it would take 3 weeks to get a complete assessment. My call to Mike - who actually answered the phone and listened to my description of the event - was immediately able to reassure me that he had seen this multiple times and described how he would remedy the problem in only a few days, and at a reasonable price. He was the furthest distance from me, but the drive was worth it because he immediately took my 2 infected computers and provided reassurance that was sincere, alleviating my stress and panic mode. Although he said the malware on both computers was "the worst I've ever seen" and extraction of files very difficult, he was able to clean them and reload files, update the operating systems, and add an antivirus program and cleaner for future protection. They were ready to pick up in 2 days! I remain amazed and relieved by Mike's ability, his unrelenting kindness and reassurance. There is no need to worry about turning on my computers now. They are performing better than when new. If you are searching for reliable computer service in the future, do not bother calling anyone else. Mike and Advanced IT deserve 5+++ Stars. read more

I am so happy that I found Mike & Advanced IT Solutions. My gaming computer was having multiple issues and Mike eased my worries immediately. He was professional, accommodating, fair and knowledgeable. My large amount of stress was eased and I quickly learned that my computer was safe in his hands. When there were still some unknowns, Mike made it possible for me to loan out another gaming computer in the meantime, which was above and beyond for me. The overall value of his service was exceptional, and I have comfort in knowing who I will bring any of my future IT problems to. Thank you for gaining my trust when it was broken, Mike! I found Advanced IT Solutions on Yelp and I couldn't be happier with the quality of work and EXCELLENT customer service! Our laptop needed a full factory reset and Mike was there to get us rolling and even set us up for full functionality and long term success. Not only did he restore the computer to good as new status, he pinned some really great apps to the dock and even took the time to demo all the features we didn't even know it had. He made sure we were aware of the security features and how we can guarantee the best performance possible in the future by doing routine cleaning. He also gave us some pointers on what to avoid and how to increase the devices longevity. I'd definitely recommend anyone with a tech issue to check them out. You can get tech support from anywhere these days but getting great support AND awesome customer service is almost impossible to find. I'll definitely be calling Mike whenever I have any computer or IT needs! read more

One word - compassionate. Losing your job sucks. I was wrapped up in a round COVID influenced lay-offs and furloughs earlier this year. My employer did all they could, but it was ultimately a necessary move for the business. They were gracious with their severance which included allowing me to keep the equipment I was using to work from home. The 2016 MacBook Pro I used for work was starting to slow down with all the administrative bloatware on the device. I considered doing a factory reset myself, but was advised against it after another colleague tried it was unable to get past the remote management tools installed by the IT team. I shot Advance IT a message through Yelp and had a response within a few minutes. I gave Mike a buzz and explained my issue. He was empathetic to my situation and confident he could restore the device to out-of-the-box default. He quoted me a very fair price and I dropped the device off later that day. Mike and team were communicative throughout the process and within a few days I picked up my device. Not only did they get the computer back to factory operating state, but they threw on some lifetime licensed anti-virus and system cleaning software. As an added touch, I appreciate that they even gave the device a decent cleaning that was badly needed or the keyboard, display, and housing. When I picked it up, they even had some recommendations on where to sell the device and a fair price to ask. Can't recommend these guys enough - they led with compassion and service while delivering quality work. read more

UPDATE: the owner's response was expected, abrasive and rude. Completely unprofessional. I was there and paid cash for a piece of equipment. The guy can't take criticism constructively, rather blaming a competitor. This guy is East coast abrasive and a jerk. No empathy and speaks to you like you're an idiot. He asks questions like you're a 5 yr old and overpowers the conversation. He told me everything I did or was doing wrong with my laptop as if to scold me instead of focusing on the solution. He's also very creepy and couldn't stop focusing on my breasts. I left there feeling icky. read more

Typically I'm the guy helping people with their computers at work, except when it comes to hardware issues. That's where I know enough to trust someone else to do the job for me. My laptop had slowed down over the years, but for the last month or so it was a total unusable brick. That's when I called Mike at AITS. He was confident he could fix it, reassured me it was worth fixing (since it's pretty old), and managed to get all my files off the old hard drive after he replaced it. Better yet, the laptop runs better than ever now! The price was reasonable and he had it done in a couple days. I'm very pleased with the result. read more

I was trying to find a Mac Pro for my daughter and Aubrey and Mike at Advance IT Solutions we're both amazing. Aubrey found the best computer that fit our budget. She made sure it fit all our requirements. The communication was great from the very first contact. They set the computer aside for us and set an appointment for us to meet them. When we arrived the computer was all set up and customized for my daughter. They even gave us a 6 month hardware warranty for peace of mind. They gave us a mouse and mouse pad and of course a power cord. But then Mike took time to walk my daughter through the whole computer and how it was set up and some important points about virus protection and how the computer operates and how she can keep it running in peak performance. And so much more. I was blown away at how nice and friendly they were and how they really went the extra mile from the beginning to the end!!! When I am ready for a computer I am going to see Mike and Aubrey. If I have any problems with my equipment I know who to call! II called this company last nite 10/14 (website says open till 11:00, No one was available to take my call.) . Today 10/15 9:00 they guy was out jogging, was rude, abrasive and not really interested in what I was telling him that IBuypower technical support told me. He kept telling me He deals with this issue and really wasn't interested in my business. Not happy with this company. I would not use this company at all. I actually hung up on him. Please read the response from this owner. My Grandson has Autism that is why I had to handle it for him. I will keep making reviews now especially because of the owner rude response. Horrible company. BTW - I just dropped the computer off to be repaired by a reputable company. Response from the owner This woman called our office this morning because her grandson is unable to converse about his own $1500 IBuyPower 2 1/2 year old gaming machine that has a serious overheating problem.. So Grandma has to take care of it for junior ..... What does that tell you? When she contacted our office blind last night at 9pm in an online inquiry we promptly replied to her we were offsite working at a business client site .. We provide IT managed services for numerous prominent East Valley businesses and they always take precedence over some residential inquiry especially on a Friday night... Then she calls us this morning and goes on and on about what IBuyPower tech support told her to do.. We highly recommended she send the chassis to them and have warranty repair work performed... She doesn't want to hear that so she habitually keeps repeating herself at least 3 or 4 times to the point I couldn't listen to her anymore on a nice rare rainy Saturday morning... We recommended she go to Geek Squad or Data Doctors and let them deal with her nonsense.. We always try to avoid the " crazies" .. Cynthia, PS you're blocked from any future IT service and we expect you'll just keep making unhinged phone calls and in the meantime junior fries his expensive gaming machine and it becomes a boat anchor ... Terrible! I brought my computer into Mike to have him download all of the photos from it it as it was a computer from 2008 and I couldn't turn it in. He told me he was able to download over 350 gigs photos and we scheduled a time for me to pick it up, BUT when I called to confirm I was on my way, he told me it was confiscated by an attorney with a "Judges order" and he told me our business was concluded and hung up on me. I will be going in with a police escort to find out what he did with my computer and over 10 years of family photos. This guy Mike is not be to trusted. Where is my computer??? It is absolutely my computer, you released it to a scammer, they tricked you, there was no "attorney" I'm not involved in a bitter divorce, I'm stunned at your behavior. You were super nice to me and visa versa. You are the questionable character. All you care about from the beginning was making sure I left a good review but you gave my computer to a woman who tricked you. If you would have called me I would have told you that the woman with red hair that you probably gave it away to is not part of our family and we have restraining orders and police reports against her. read more

I would give these people a zero if I could. I was just trying to explain a problem with my computer when constantly being interrupted by an employee (who would not identify himself) who said that I had no business interrupting his morning coffee (it was 0800 and the business says it is open at 0700). He then stated that his business was the only IT/computer repair company that could do anything at all to fix my problem and oh by the way he said if I walked in the door (they don't do onsite business assistance) that it would cost me a minimum of $250. If this organization does not want to serve this market then SHUT the Premises!!!!! Kevin More great news from the front! You saw the UNTRUTHFUL scathing review by this person/owner Mike on my person as an individual and frankly I am appalled that he did not try to reach out to me and apologize but instead he blocks me. I wouldn't mind trying to have another conversation with him as I could use such a service in the future that he claims he can provide. I didn't block him like a vindictive buffoon might. However, I am afraid that Mike is an irreputable person who treats many people this way. I wouldn't trust with anything posted on this website either. Who knows, he could have had friends and relatives fill out positive reviews for him; we have no way of knowing unless we could contact his references directly.
