I primarily worked with Dominic (who was awesome!) during the ordering process. Not only were my questions answered, but Meta PCs was flexible on how I could pay for my beast of a machine. Unfortunately, the machine was shipped just in time to run into some dicey weather, so it arrived a wee bit frozen (I got the water-cooled option) and some minor leakage due to the machine being tilted a little bit too far. Alen took my call and was super supportive while we waited for the machine to thaw and dry out. I was also helped out by Will and Luis during my time of need! And I was a bit needy. Honestly, the whole team was super supportive. They communicated via chat, text, phone, and mail. Basically, matching whatever method I was using at that moment. I'm glad to report that it has defrosted and it is a thing of beauty. I couldn't be happier!

Upon entering Red Seven, I noticed a long table full of fruit and veggie trays, appetizers, snacks and desserts. In a corner of the store was an actual bartender who was ready to serve up cocktails, beer, wine or soft drinks. Michael greeted me promptly, directed me to a spot where I could rest my computer, and invited me to have a drink and look around while the install technician was finalizing his preparations for the evening's event. That's when I noticed the low prices of their computers. The first system I came across was $250, with others dipping below the two hundred mark. When I initially walked in, Michael was with a customer, so I listened in to their conversation as I browsed. Michael seems like the kind of knowledgeable salesman who doesn't just want to make a sale, but wants to make a fit. When the install area was ready, Chris came out to the store floor, and Michael introduced me to him. Chris carried my mini-tower to the technician area, with me in tow. We chatted for a bit as he removed the side panel and looked inside, where he found some of my handiwork (a secondary hard drive hanging by the ribbon). Immediately, he went into a bin and retrieved a hard drive housing, and secured my hardware. Chris is a very personable guy, who enjoys making music using his computer. He even let me check out a few of his tracks when I asked about them. Michael ordered several pizzas, so I indulged while watching masters of Ubuntu showcase the new product on two of Red Seven's floor models. The place got pretty full, with several attendees being from a retirement community. That's pretty cool. An hour an a half later, the install was complete, and I now had several desktops available within a spinney cube. If you go down to Red Seven, they can show you exactly what that means. So you ask: What was the charge for this service? Not a penny. Because this was a release party, they provided this service free of charge, while providing the attention one would pay top dollar for. Trustworthy, Knowledgeable, Personable, Affordable. If these all sound like good traits to you, then check out Red Seven.

Mr. Barton figured out the crux of the problem at lightening speed. He explained that the problem wasn't something worth paying for repair. Not only did his honesty not earn him any money, but he gladly recommend some excellent laptops and even sent us the links on Amazon! By the way, we have taken that laptop previously to two local repair shops. We were totally ripped off at the first one and the second one installed upgraded parts but had no solution for the speed problem. Since I retired and my I-phone was connected to my work PC, I needed my I-phone to connect to my home laptop and Microsoft with regards to the calendar and contacts. Also, our Cox provider sold their email part of the business to Yahoo so we needed Yahoo to work with our Outlook. The first tech we had did his best to handle our situation. He did resolve our email issue, but after he left, there were problems with our contacts and calendar. This was nearly a 3-hour appointment. We set up another appointment a few days later and Josh W was sent out to tackle the issues. He was able to resolve our contacts and mostly resolve our calendar issue. I was very relieved. My phone still isn't in syn with our laptop, but we'll work on that during our next visit. I've worked with a lot of IT professionals both at work and home. It can take a while to find the right fit for the problem as IT techs have their different areas of expertise. Josh W was the right fit for this issue and we appreciate his methodical review and resolution. We highly recommend you start with the 4-point review before dealing with your issues. We weren't clear that the 4-point review of your systems only takes about 10-15 minutes and it then warranties the work. We did the 4-point review on the 2nd visit. Josh W made recommendations to expand our hard drive so it will work better as well as recommended a better back-up solution that what we currently have. We are on the road to getting our IT needs "buttoned-up." Thank you, Josh W.

I HIGHLY, highly, highly recommend RAD computers to anyone in need of exceptional customer service AND affordable prices!! Although mine took a bit longer to fix than their norm (over a week due to many hiccups since my laptop was a bit ancient), I was still beyond pleased with Mark and his awesome fiancé Brittany. They are attentive, kind, and professional. They understand the customer and truly put their needs first. If you are a Mac user, such as myself, I figured I would need to go somewhere else that would cost me an arm and a leg, but RAD computers proved their expertise in technology and were able to help me out promptly. The same night my computer decided to fail me, Mark fit me into his busy schedule that same night and eased my frustration by informing me that they would be able to handle the situation within days. Plus, they have great insight on additional products that would enhance your technological needs. Communication is via text and email so it is pretty convenient. The only suggestion I would like to provide, is to stay on top of emails just a little bit more, but I know how busy you guys are so that's why it did not deter me from leaving you 5 stars and expressing my gratitude towards you BOTH! Trust me, if you are in need of any computer service, this is the place to go!! On top of that, they are very nice and genuine people that are fun to talk to as well. I never use yelp but had to because of how great this place is. Mark helped me more then he ever had to. Very professional and personal at the same time. Goes above and beyond for customers. Is up front with you and honest by telling you if you need things or not. Review- A while back my screen was cracked (the plastic covering, not the led) and mark looked into it to find the cheapest way to fix it. He found out that to replace the plastic, heat treatment and other factors would need to done to get it done that would take a lot of time. He found a couple options and one was finding 1 of two parts known to just switch out for a reasonable price. Not only did he save the receipt to show me what the costs were, he tolded me if I could find one cheaper, he would. I have never seen someone that shows you how much things cost for the people fixing your laptop. After he got the part he also cleaned the inside of my laptop from dust and smoke build up (from previous owner. I bought it used). Mark also answered questions I had such as upgrading the ram and HD size. Then he showed me how to do it as soon I would not have to pay for installation. Basically mark was being a friend trying to save me money when he could be charging me for things I was willing to pay for since I didn't know how easy it was. I will only go to mark for any computer problems first from now on. read more

I recently had trouble with my computer shutting off for no reason (that I knew of). They were close by where I lived, so I took it in on a Saturday. He worked on it while I was in the shop. It took no time at all for Mark to diagnose what was going on & help me get the problem resolved. As he worked on my computer, he told me everything he was doing and was very informative. Turns out my computer needed a new power cord (and eventually a new battery). Mark even pointed me in the direction to get a inexpensive power cord, which fixed my problem asap. To add to how great the service was, he didn't even charge me for diagnosing the problem. This is something that never happens. All the other computer places I've taken computers to in the past, charge you for even looking at it. I'm really grateful and glad that I found such a knowledgeable and friendly business. I don't normally write reviews (bad or good), but I had to send out praise to the level of customer service, knowledge and speed that Rad Computers (and Mark) provided. I had to write something, so that if someone was deciding where to take in their computer, they would take it to a great business and not get taken by some of the scams that are advertising in Phoenix/Tempe area. I cannot thank RAD Computers enough for helping me with my laptop problems. They really are Resourceful-Affordable-Dependable...For months it has been freezing up and giving me error messages. Then I found Mark on a neighborhood message board and reached out with a question. Not only did he get back to me immediately, but he turned out to be the Owner of RAD Computers in Mesa who is in the process of opening a new shop here in Maricopa! Mark responded to my home the next day and immediately got to work identifying and correcting my issues. He ordered me the part I needed on the spot and then spent extra time showing me how set up, organize, and update my emails in Outlook, free of charge. After my parts arrived, Mark returned to my house and installed everything, cleaned up all my photos and unused applications, increased my memory and instructed me on how to maintain my system. He even programed two universal remotes for televisions that I had just set up, also free of charge. Mark and RAD Computers in a matter of hours eliminated all the stress and frustration I had been dealing with for months. I recently had the pleasure of working with RAD Computers to build my content creation rig, and I have nothing but praise for the exceptional service and expertise they provided. Paul was the mastermind behind the build, and he kept me updated every step of the way. From start to finish, Paul's attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction was impressive. One of the biggest challenges we faced was fitting my ridiculously large RTX 4090 video card into the small case I provided. It's a real tight fit, but Paul rose to the challenge and found a way to make it work, all while maintaining excellent cable routing and aesthetics as much as possible. The end result was a beautifully crafted machine that runs like a dream. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my experience with RAD Computers. You know that horrible feeling when your PC crashes and you are without email, google searches, internet et al, - so anyway I find this guy owner MARK BUSH and drive to his shop with my HP desktop. Walking in I expect to wait forever, but NO, he takes the box, pops the back off, starts running diagnostic software, checks it out thoroughly and has it running great in a few minutes. And then won't let me pay him saying "we offer FREE diagnostics" Long story longer, I've been back THREE times and each time he fixes it or tells me the exact issue, and then says "no charge" I'm like dude! here's five bucks buy yourself a burrito! (that's because one time I called and Mark said "I'll be right back, I'm going out to get a breakfast burrito" So, you've got computer problems? Take it to 2655 W. Guadalupe Rd. #1 in Mesa, AZ and you won't be sorry = these guys are the real pros! and they only charge you when they have something to fix. IT"S FREE, just let them tell you what is wrong. I've been around builds, repairs, and accessory issues with computers for over a decade now and there are 3 reasons RAD Computers is my new 'go to' spot. 1) Their first concern is giving a thorough/complimentary diagnosis and making sure repairs are even necessary in the first place- which saves me $50-$100 right off the bat every time. Incredible. 2) Mark's attention to detail is incredible and he is a true expert with an endless range of computer knowledge, repair scenarios, and product recommendations (if needed). You'll notice this immediately when you walk in. 3) His service is extremely prompt and his prices are unmatched. Like any penny pincher I've looked around the valley numerous times over many years because I am NEVER satisfied with the prices, service, and reliability of other companies i've experienced. I wanted to give RAD Computers 10 stars, but Yelp will only let you choose 5 :( I found this place on Yelp, because the liquid cooling system of my desktop computer failed (it's a gaming computer with an i7-3930K 3.2GHZ, but I actually use it for work to run microclimate simulations). Mark is absolutely fabulous! Super friendly and knowledgeable and he truly cares about his customers and their computers! He switched my liquid cooling system to a high performance air cooling system (less maintenance, very quiet) AND overclocked my machine from 20% to 31.25% so that I can run my models even faster. Pricing was transparent and extremely affordable. RAD computers were also flexible about pick up and drop off times and locations. Mark provided excellent service all around and I highly recommend RAD computers to anyone looking for computer service!!! I wont write that much this time, as I have another repair, after which I am entitled for another review. I used google service, to see where I could take care of my problem, thinking about next day. But I got reply almost instantly when I enquired about my problem to RAD Computers. I should point out that this is my first time ever, using PC repair service as I can pretty much take care of my computers, so I really needed professional help. I brought my PC to Mark in about an hour and I cannot tell how much amazed I was, about his knowledge and his patience, when doing his work. Couple hours later, I went home with my issue taken care of. It was $2K laptop and I was little nervous about whole thing when issue arose. As a comp sci student whose laptop suddenly broke mid-semester, I've never felt so compelled to throw my money at an establishment. I sent the same message requesting a quote to many different laptop repair places and they were asking for up to twice of what Mark was asking for, saying that my motherboard could be damaged when I knew it was in fact a fairly simple issue. They said that it could take up to 2 weeks because the parts had to be "special ordered". Mark had the part delivered to him the same day that I requested the quote and he had my laptop fixed the same day that I got it to him. It now works better than it did before it broke. The best part for me was that he streams while he works, so I watched my baby get fixed live from the comfort of Twitch chat. This summer, it was June or July, I called Mark about upgrading my old, clunky computer. It is now November, and I am still so thrilled with the work Mark did that I'm taking the time to write a review. Mark took the time to really listen to my needs (half professional, half gaming), he offered suggestions, and then he did some of the most brilliant strategic shopping to keep the cost of parts low. His rates for labor are more than acceptable, and he is also a genuinely nice person (even my cats like him!). RAD Computers more than met my expectations - they exceeded those expectations. I have now moved out of Mark's service area, but I would make the 45-minute drive to work with Mark again when it comes time to re-upgrade my machine. I was on vacation and noticed the battery in my MacBook Pro was swelling. I contacted AppleCare, and as all Apple Stores in AZ are CLOSED I was referred to a third-party provider. (Insert panic). As a member of a networking group, I reached out to Mark for an estimate and turnaround time to repair. AMAZINGLY AWESOME experience. Not only was Mark SUPER responsive, he ordered the replacement part I needed so that it would be here when I returned. I went into a store to buy a new monitor for my laptop, when my computer screen stopped working. They recommended I try to have it fixed and recommended RAD computers. I talked to Mark (RAD computers) and he said it would be $120 to replace my screen, but said he would like to check out my lap top first. She spent an hour taking my computer apart, finding, fixing the problem and putting my computer back together. It turned out to be a bad connection. The problem was fixed, while I waited for half the price of the original estimate. Mark seemed vary knowledgeable about computers, and fixed the problem while I waited. I've been working with Mark of RAD Computers for over five years. When I brought my PC to him for a tune-up, Mark recommended that I change to a "Solid State" drive due to its robust engineering and reputation for saving data. A year later that same PC met with a wall and was destroyed. When I brought the ruins to Mark, he removed the Solid State drive and installed it in a new PC. No data was lost! If not for Mark's suggestion, I would have lost stories, I'd written, as well as irreplaceable business documents and personal information. I cannot recommend Mark's services enough. Without a doubt, some of the best customer service and professionalism I've experienced. AND over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend!!! RAD took the extra time to explain tech issues in an informative, non-jargony way. He spoke with technical accuracy and clarity, an art to do so with the sort-of technical level of understanding with a customer like me. Mark is a fantastic technician, great guy to talk to, and offers fantastic rates. He's available in the morning, afternoon, and evening, which means that you can drop off your computer according to how your schedule works. He'll fix your computer as quickly as possible and has no problem explaining what exactly is wrong with your computer. The customer service that he offers is fantastic and he's a great guy to talk to. He might even give you some computer tips. He genuinely cares about his customers and provides quality service with fantastic rates. I purchased an inexpensive new laptop for home use and quickly found out it was so slow that I could barely use it. After reading all of their great reviews, I took the laptop into RAD where Aaron explained what the issue was and how he could help. He first backed up all of my information, swapped out the existing mechanical hard drive for a new SSD drive, loaded all new Windows 10 and put my information back onto the new drive. He even threw in some office software! The laptop is lightning fast now and works better than I had hope for. One day my laptop just can't be turned on at all (most likely the board or the power supplier issue) and I started to look for computer repair service. I actually just want to recover my data and did not care if the computer can be fixed. I went to another store at first (which also has pretty good rating on yelp). After two days they told me all my data are fried they are done there's no way to recover blahblahblah....Fortunately I did not give up and took my laptop to RAD and Aaron identified the problem within just 5 minutes and eventually recovered all my data. Mark picked out my parts and built my PC and did a fantastic job! Not only does it run perfectly (it's been a few months and I have not had a single problem with it), but it also looks super sexy. He made the decision to put the LED lights on the outside and it looks fantastic. Plus, his girlfriend gave me homemade pumpkin cheesecake when I went to pick it up. Talk about stellar service! While I do some updates myself like a power unit, memory, and GPU; when I have to deal with HDs and…read morea Motherboard I like to have a professional do it to make sure no data is lost and no conflict with Windows arises as I have seen some funny things arise during updates. My new GPU was slightly too large for the case I had so it was time to move things over to a new case. Jay was on site within an hour to pickup the old tower and the new case as well as the new GPU. The new case had only so much space for my old HDs as it was better suited to SSD drives. It also did not have space for a disc drive so I opted to just go with our external drive when needed. Jay went over all the HD options and I decided to get a new SSD set and make the jump a bit sooner than planned. I had the new set sent directly to him and he had my data moved over. Usually when I get a PC back after updates there is work to do in order to get back games, drivers, contacts, links, or e-mails. This was not the case as the system was ready go to the moment I fired it up and the speed increase of the SSD was very clear to see. The communication along the way was great and the price was very reasonable. Whenever we need work on our systems beyond our normal updates; we go to Hart as we get fast and quality service at a good price.

At some stores, the tech kids will talk down to you, condescending about your lack of knowledge in electronics, and you can sense they are impatient in dealing with you.
