I can't say enough about Rob. My computer was running as slow as molasses. It literally took over a minute to open a program. I ran every diagnostic and optimization application I could find. I had the Windows Auto Update button clicked on and was getting updates. So the next step was going to be to blow my brains out! Fortunately, Rob came to the rescue. He remotely took over my computer and began working magic. First, although Microsoft said Windows was up to date, it was actually years behind. He changed settings, deleted unneeded programs and processes, and pretty much did major surgery over the internet. My computer is running like new! The cost was a very reasonable $75.00. I can't say enough good things about Rob and the service he provided for me. My laptop was starting to have several issues and I thought for sure I would need to purchase a new one. But before going that route, I thought I would look up a few computer repair places. I had no desire to use the Big Box store repair. I've used them in the past and always felt I was being ripped off. They take forever, you never speak to the same person twice, charge too much and do not explain things very well to those of us who are not tech savvy, such as myself. I read some reviews and decided to call Rob and I know now that I made the right choice. I spoke with him on the phone, told him the issues I was having, and he was confident that it was my hard drive that needed to be replaced. My first thought of course was, Oh S*it what is that going to cost and would I be better off just purchasing a new one, so I was quite thrilled when he gave me the estimate of what it would cost to repair. I dropped off the laptop on a Saturday afternoon, and he phoned me the next day, to tell me it was fixed. He doesn't normally work on Sundays, so I was surprised and thrilled that he was able to get the repairs done so quickly and allowed me to pick it up on a late Sunday afternoon. He also cleaned up the computer, the fan, and doubled my ram. The fact that he fixed it so quickly, got my computer working more efficiently than ever, AND did it on a weekend was amazing. I can't remember how I found Rob several years ago, but I'm glad I did. I remember hiring other computer "professionals" in the past. I always looked at the price first. Once a repair place re-installed the wrong software. Another time a repair place was too snobby to fix my computer because he thought it was an inferior brand (I fixed it myself). I would give Rob 10 stars if I could! Last night Rob again came to my rescue! I had just returned from vacation and my computer was doing all manner of bizarre things with programs taking an incredible amount of time to load and some just buffering endlessly. Rob has done computer service for my business for many years and has ALWAYS made a quick diagnosis with a fix for EVERYTHING. He was able to log in remotely (and it was after 9:00 PM when I called him) and within about an hour had removed all the spyware and other problems. Everything had been running very slow but Rob did his awesome magic and fixed the problem. I would never consider calling anyone but Rob for any/all computer issues.
