Our computer decided to take an extended nap during the quarantine and we couldn't wake it up. The store we purchased it was not taking any repairs; understandably. So we found this place, called him and he said if I can get there quickly he could take it in for a diagnostic. We are only a few minutes away, so we went. He was very kind, and said he'd take a look and give me a call. Another gentleman came in with a lot of questions so I left. I no sooner got home, Dan called and said our computer came of the coma. A few days ago my computer went to shit. I like to think I'm somewhat tech savvy but this was beyond me, so I hit up yelp and chose Softque for it's high ratings and more so because it's not too far from where I live. After calling the place up and talking to a guy, I believe his name was Chris, they just had me bring it in. He asked me a few questions and we both came to the conclusion that it was probably the power supply. I brought it in and left it with them for a day, got a call confirming it was the power supply and he tactfully let me know they referred to my computer as Chewbacca. Dog hair and dust don't make for good insulation in a computer, who knew. Anyways, paid for the part, paid for the analysis/labor. A little more than I wanted to spend on my computer but it was completely reasonable. Nice, straightforward guys, they got to the point and I got my computer back working good as new. Apparently my laptop doesn't like tea... in the keyboard! I called Dave who was referred to me by a coworker who raved about him! He was able to see me quickly and saved my files on a flash drive. I've had to bring different laptops in to get fixed and they've always done a good job. They've helped me with various computer issues, too. The latest was a couple months ago they replaced the power switch on my Dell, which Dell was really lame to put a power switch on a movable part. All good and new and works great. Also got a discount because I know the owner. Anyway, awhile back, they helped me with issues with my Sony Vaio. Also got my kids' ThinkPad laptop from them awhile back - was refurbished. The guys who work at this shop are friendly and a pleasure to work with when dealing with the stress of fixing your computer. I bought a new laptop and it turned out it had loads of problems with just about everything. I went to the shop and for a nominal fee they helped me deal with the laptop company and the warranty. A few times a company rep showed up and claimed he fixed the problem. The guys checked the computer told me there were still problems and dealt with the laptops company till they were satisfied it was fixed. I recently purchased a new Windows 10 laptop and needed the data from my old laptop, transferred. In April, I brought both laptops in and met with David a SoftQue technician. All within a day, David set up an internet connection, transferred files, photos, set up email accounts and transferred messages. David went a step beyond the scope of work by installing programs that were not part of the software. David followed up on other issues, installing Antivirus software as well as a program that would connect my printer to the internet wirelessly, allowing my printer to scan documents. David was a pleasure to work with, understanding client's concerns and communicating effectively while applying strong work ethics. I don't know where to start! Dave really came through for us. We are a small family owned business and our hard drive went out. OMG!!! Panic set it. On 10/27/2011, I took my computer in to SoftQue because my computer wouldn't allow me to open anything on the desktop, all I could do was turn on my computer, clearly a virus. I also couldn't uninstall OpenOffice. I gave my box to Chelsie. The next day they called and said they could find no virus and that everything opened up just fine for them. They couldn't explain why I couldn't open anything. I asked them to uninstall OpenOffice, so they did and I was charged $59 for this. I brought it home and tried it. Everything did open up for me, however, my internet was super slow and it wouldn't let me click on certain hyperlinks that open new windows. So I still had a virus. A few days later, my computer just went blank and nothing worked again. This time I took it to Red Sevens, who charges less to fix viruses anyway. The only reason I took it to SoftQue in the first place is because Red Sevens had moved 10 miles further but apparently the longer trip is warranted. read more

When it comes to computer repair and sales they are the best. I paid 4, that's right, 4! so called computer repair companies to diagnose and fix my computer when it was getting repetitive stop error screens. Always it would be ok for an hour to a week but it would always do it again. Thank God for Dave because he finally after a year of frustration found the problem. I had a bad motherboard. He was so nice to me and understanding about how frustrated I was after dealing with so many people and paying so much money already.
