Young kids wanted to argue and be condescending the entire time I was in this location. Will not be returning. Do not recommend unless you must go to an Authorized Retailer. I have been to this store three times. Each time I have felt like sales were the number one goal over service. This last experience was a prime example. I walked in knowing that I wanted a new iPhone 7 or 8 Plus. Of course the manager encourages me to get an 8 Plus (expected). The next up-sell was the tempered glass with lifetime guarantee for $50. Then he tells me I qualify for a $200 trade in on my phone or store credit of $135 toward my purchases. I repeatedly stated I wanted the $200 to reduce my monthly payments. In the end he told me I don't qualify for that because I don't have unlimited data on my phone. NEXT thing, my total just happens to come out to a credit balance of $1.77. He tries multiple times to get me to buy a case for $20. I bought one on Amazon for $10 with over 4,000 5 star reviews. I don't need one. Then when I tell him I have a company discount for 20% off accessories I end up with a credit balance of $11.77. He continues to try to get me to spend that money in the store. He agreed that he CAN put that credit balance toward my current or next bill but flat refuses. When I go to leave he quickly handed me a receipt with a hand written note that says I have a $10 store credit. So basically, this store owed me $11.77 and refused to give me credit toward what I owe. He is forcing me to go in and spend $10 in his store. I will never use this store again. Good luck to those who do. Second thing to note, while I was in the store the other sales guy was trying to help an older customer. She is frustrated that she doesn't know how to use her new phone and is getting upset. His response to her was, "But everyone knows that you just flip up for the shortcuts." What kind of respect is that. She doesn't know. Karma, they need to learn to be kind and helpful at this store and work harder not to rip off customers or the reviews will close the doors eventually. read more

The staff in this store is truly amazing. They are super helpful and very customer oriented, always thinking in a best interest of the customer. I had major issues with my phone, had to visit store two days in a row and spent significant time in the store, which allowed me to witness first hand how great the employees are. Starting with Ashley, who was super helpful in setting up my new phone, discovered all kind of discounts and got me best possible deals. I walked out the store with brand new phone, without single data and apps lost and all for almost 600 dollars savings (after I traded my old phone). It was seamless and very professional. All while attending to other customers, greeting them with positive attitude and with same eagerness to help and do the best for them. Previous day I visited same store, and it was very busy. Shayan was the only one working and was juggling between so many customers with smile and grace, even some customers that were very demanding and rude. I was truly impressed by his composure. I also got a chance to meet Caitlyn, store manager, who was demonstrating same behaviors as Ashley and Shayan. It clearly shows that she sets a tone! I don't think I will every be going to any other Verizon store. They turned super stressful situation into pleasant experience. This is not a corporate store but has a license to sell for Verizon. They can be informative and service faster than regular stores. Caveat Emptor. They will charge for unexplained services if they can get away with it. They promised me a higher trade in value for my phone, failed to explain the fee structure for setting up the new phone, did not return follow up calls. read more

WORST EXPERIANCE EVER!! I spent 3 hours at this location trying not to burst into tears, get arrested or go ape sh*t. First of all, this is NOT a Verizon store location. They are an authorized retailer. Had I known this, I would have NEVER stepped foot in their store. The lack of professionalism and customer service is astounding. I've never felt so taken advantage of and ripped off. It has left me with NO new phone and $500 dollars that I am "HOPEFULLY" getting refunded... the suspense continues. I clearly asked several times what this transaction would cost me and in the end it was nowhere close to what was verbally communicated. Needless to say I wanted to have everything refunded and returned. NOT even going to mention that the "new" phone which wasn't even sealed in a box didn't even work. I got to my car and couldn't make any calls. My gut feeling tells me I'm in for the run around. As another customer said, "only go to a Verizon corporate store" this place is a complete rip-off. I cannot believe that this is even legal. Very deceiving to post the name "Verizon" on a store but in small writing claim "wireless retailer". The average person who has been a Verizon customer for over 10 years wouldn't understand that unless you learn the hard way.... LESSON LEARNED. The Oger of a manager who was in the store pretended he didn't hear me be upset and continued to ignore the situation. I'm beyond outraged. I have reported everything to Verizon and I will continue to report them and blog about them every opportunity I get. CROOKS! Degenerate CROOKS! I recently purchased a new iPhone at this store and found the service and knowledge of the two reps I dealt with (the first one by phone, the second in-store) to be exceptional. They handled everything, from ordering my phone--and receiving it within 24 hours!--to providing me with the accessories I needed, explaining everything to me, and transferring the content of my old iPhone to the new one. One of the worst customer service experiences ever. Should have known walking in when we saw the sign saying it was an authorized dealer. My wife and I came in on Black Friday to upgrade her phone. We were told that her current phone was going to have close to a $100 value for the trade in and that since she was eligible for an upgrade that her bill would remain the same. We went through the process and then we were told that their system was down and they couldn't process any new phones at the time. It was approximately 2pm. They took down our number and said they would call us when the system was operating. At 7pm they called us so we drove back. We sat there for 2 and a half hours until 930pm, half an hour after closing, only to be told that the system broke again and that we would have to come back the next day. All the while we were in the store we noticed how rude they were to customers... Making snarky about people as they left the store. Flash forward to today and we received our first bill and it was wayyy more than expected. Called Verizon and it turns out the phone had actually no value for the trade in and there is nothing they can do to keep the bill down as the store promised it would be the same monthly amount. A complete waste of our time and money. Don't ever go here! read more

Please avoid this place, I have suffered over two months to solve my problem. But they never keep their promise. They are only getting a one star because I had to do it. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!!!!!DO NOT START SERVICE HERE. This store is not a verizon store but a third party vendor. They charge a $100 activation fee that means absolutely nothing Verizon will charge you again $ 30 on your bill. I'm currently in the process of filing a COMPLAINT with the FCC. Verizon is also saying that they are scamming people and it is being dealt with by them as well. We have also let the Spectrum Mall know and they are looking into this as well. I don't know why on this site they are even getting reviews that are good must be friends or employees writing them. If you go out to google and bring them up you will see lots and lots of really bad reviews. Their only response is to give you an email address to write to. I have sent a compliant and have not heard anything back. Just a big run around. PLEASE BE AWARE AND DONT GIVE THEM BUSINESS THEY DONT DESERVE. read more

If you want Verizon I would recommend going to the one in Tustin. This one in Irvine scams you adds fees and other things. R just make sure you see the receipt don't wait for you to get it in your email. I upgraded a phone and started a new line. I was told these charges were included in the set up fees. I am really confused by the solution given to me by a representative named Cory. He told me that if my family and I exceed the limited internet usage, there'll be extra charge. I asked him what the limited internet usage is, and he said that I could just dial #data on my cell phone to look it up. That makes no sense at all. Are you kidding me? The representatives in this branch have little knowledge or care about Verizon's services. They initially told me that upgrading my phone would mean monthly rates and then all the sudden asked for $190 upfront. When asked why other lines on my account had to pay $0 they didn't know or care to come up with solutions. After calling the customer service line in the store and getting a $100 credited to our account to match the deal on the other lines the manager said we couldn't use that credit in store! Turns out the $190 was the cost of a "bundle" including accessories, we have the option of paying just the tax... Which was $90. I'm sorry? Wasted my time for 40 min then tell me I don't have to pay $100? Funny part? The taxes aren't even that much. I went to the Heritage Plaza location and paid $60. Oh man, I should have read the reviews here before make a visit to this place. First, They DO NOT explain fair enough to make their customer understand their bill. I asked them detailed summary sheet for my upgrading to new phone and they just gave me price sheet with phone and accessories. No monthly payment details. Second, They snort at you if you try to RETURN a phone. I got a new phone but it was having some tech issues so I tried to return it. but the manager thought I was trying to make BS excuses and then he told me to comeback after trying to fix that issue. If you want to spend countless amounts of money in one day come here. From hidden fees to set up charges, this place made a fortune from its unaware customers. The representative was terrible. They were misleading and blind-sighted us. Verizon is a great network and if you want to switch to them go to the one in Lake Forest or Tustin. Horrible! Totally lied to me and never explained what I signed up for. I have filed a complaint with Verizon corporate and KNBC consumer affairs. Asked Verizon what I could do about this store and told basically could complain to Manager but not much else. When you hand a client a tablet to sign, it would be nice to give an explanation and a copy of the agreement before signing. Asked for a copy and was told they would email it. Didn't happen. Found out my "free" upgrade was that I would be purchasing the phones at full price. Verizon, you need to close this store. read more
