A couple months ago I contacted the business and spoke to an extremely friendly gentlemen as my iPhone screen was "I thought" cracked and I was trading in for a new device so he told me to stop by. I proceeded to go to the location and he took my phone and less than 2 min later he handed it back to me and he said "no charge" as I guess my screen protector was cracked and not my phone...I was so happy as I didn't have to replace the screen and most importantly he was being honest as He could've told me the screen was cracked and I wouldn't have known the difference but he didn't!! Sam is a mobile phone expert. I needed to replace my Moto G 5G battery because it was having issues. I found Sam on Yelp and took my phone to Sam because of the good reviews. For some reason, the new battery did not charge my phone fully, so I contacted Sam about it and he said to bring the phone back, so he could diagnose it. Brought in an Iphone 11 for battery and screen replacement. Great pricing but the battery and screen are not genuine apple so there is a message on my phone stating "important display and battery message" I was under the assumption the parts were genuine but i did not ask before agreeing to the service. Lesson learned ask if the parts are genuine apple or aftermarket parts. Battery health and charging is no longer able to measure max capacity. 1 year warranty on screen and 3 month warranty on battery was offered so crossing fingers everything operates smoothly. I will update review if anything changes but owner was a great guy and got it done very quickly so here are 5 stars and an honest review. read more

Came through to see if they could unlock a phone I bought through an app (Offerup) from someone who sold me a locked phone on Sprint. They offer this service on the back of their card and it's also noted clearly on their sadly put-together kiosk. I'm standing around the booth looking for someone and this fat guy comes out (probably from his lunch break) and asks me if I needed anything. I explain my situation and ask him if he can unlock the phone I brought with me. He chuckles and tells me it would be easier for me to do it myself calling Sprint and telling them to unlock it for me. Already irked by his response, I tell him I knew that because I went through the process of calling Sprint on 3 different occassions and I was on hold for 4 hours and talked to 4 different agents, only to be denied and told they won't unlock the phone since I'm not the owner of the phone yadda yadda yadda... I came to get my phone unlocked and for a solution I couldn't get out of calling sprint MYSELF. This dude, food in his under-maintained beard and wearing something a middle-aged gamer who still lives in his mother's basement would, continues to tell me it's easier to do myself. Now I'm pissed. Why have phone unlocking services put on your cards and kiosk? I ask him "so do you not want to make the $120 for doing the service?", (since he mentioned the process would take 5-6 days and its a $120 service) and he points out he makes nothing out of it anyway! After continual discussing over unlocking the phone, he rambled on his kiosk and into his pockets for his Android and called a co-worker to tell him details about unlocking the phone I brought. As he spoke into his PC gaming earphones to his coworker, I took a look at the kiosk and noticed the mess it was. There were broken and old iphones (I assume they buy or keep from prior customers) in a glass case, sun-damaged android/iphone cases vilely shoved together to pass off as a display, and a scatter of papers/receipts/unidentifiable trash on his main work space (pertaining mostly of a keyboard setup and a pull out drawer??). He ended up finding a solution for the phone for an $80 fee. He told me that his coworker would bring an R-SIM the next day and he would insert it and "play" with the phone until it worked. I would have to leave me phone over night or for a few days and he would call me on another # to tell me it was ready. I said no to leaving the phone with this slob, but told him to call when the R-SIM arrived and I left. No call until the weekend came (6 days later because I came to the kiosk on a tuesday) and my good friend went to deal with him, since I did not have the energy or will to deal with that sorrowful Imp. My friend climbed back into the car with a working phone and interesting news!! The phone was still not ready when he came to the kiosk AND the same guy was asking for me only to talk about me (a customer) to my friend (another customer). If anyone (INCLUDING the employee of the kiosk) made it this far in this review, round of applause! This, by far, takes the crown on dreadful phone service experiences! This deserves a cookie or a star for being so extraordinarily hopeless, really. ? You guys might find pieces in this dude's beard anyway. read more

I was bothered for a while by the hairline crack on the camera lens of my iPhone 7... I know I can buy that tiny piece of glass from Amazon for $8.95 by putting the glue with a toothpick and heat it up w blow dryer...but do I really want to and risk all the possibilities I could damage the camera itself... One Sunday morning laying in bed, I decided to try the Yelp "Request a quote" feature and the feature also allows you to send quote to multiple business. I sent request to 5 business and all of them replied within 4 hours, the price ranged from $24 to $45 (among Santa Ana, Westminster, Garden Grove and Irvine). This place quoted me $35 and since Irvine is closer and my yelp friend Randy L had a 5 stars review for this place recently, I decide to give them a try. It's a simple task, all I ask for were, 1: Efficiency 2: Safely of personal information stored in the phone My first visit, the guy who happened to know how to repair wasn't on site. So please make sure you call/text ahead. On my 2nd visit, we were able to leave my phone there while visiting 85 c Bakery for their 85 cents coffee Monday. By the time we got our coffee, the repair was done. Later I found the camera has focus issue so I took it back and he fixed it right away. (can't blame him, I had my phone power off so he couldn't test it).
