Awesome service recommended and friendly service as well!! Quick and knowledgeable with iPhone

I had one of the Samsung fold 5 phones and the screen started to peel and Crack. Then, it made it so that I couldn't use the screen whatsoever. So, since i needed a new phone I still needed to have my info sent to the new phone from the old phone. Since I couldn't actually use the screen I couldn't approve the transfer. I e been to Smart Cell before and they were super fast and efficient. This time was no different. The cost was $150, and I'm not sure if it's a fair price compared to other cell repair places, but i prefer small businesses over someone like Best Buy Geek Squad. It didn't take long for the transfer, and he was able to get everything. Everything! Very happy about that. So money well spent in my opinion. Smart Cell Repair is the first place I think of for taking my electronics in. 5/5 stars read more

I had a very disappointing experience here. I brought my daughter's phone in because the front camera wasn't working. I was charged $50 upfront to "calibrate" the camera and was told there was only a 50/50 chance it would work. Unfortunately, when I came back, I was told the calibration didn't fix the problem and that it was actually the motherboard. Then said I would have to leave the phone for another 7 days, but even then he couldn't guarantee it would be repaired. I understand that electronics can be difficult to diagnose, but I don't think it's fair to charge customers upfront when there's no clear diagnosis or confidence that the repair can be completed. I ended up paying $50 without my daughter's phone being fixed and without a definite solution. I wish the expectations had been clearer from the beginning so I could have decided whether it was worth moving forward. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I wouldn't return. read more

I brought my phone in to fix the selfie camera and they charged Me $50 upfront to calibrate it. When I came to pick it up he told me it needed a new camera and he wanted another $120 to fix it. He should have been upfront from the beginning and not try to take advantage of the situation. Dont waste your time with this guy, he is dishonest. I also had to change a battery but he never told me it wasnt an OEM battery but a knockoff. Every time I went to charge the phone it said unauthorized battery. Look at all of his other one star reviews! read more

Yelpers, highly recommend you look elsewhere if you you're looking to get a cracked screen replaced. I brought in a older iPhone for a cracked screen replacement and overall it was a quick process. I got in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes and the new screen worked great at first. I found them via Yelp quote and they were very responsive. Although they weren't the lowest price, I decided to go with them due to their responsiveness. However, a mere four days later their replacement screen cracked! All I did was set the phone on my countertop. My phone even had a protective case. While I understand the screen was an aftermarket product (and this was also made clear to me by the person fixing it), it should be able to withstand being placed on a countertop. It wasn't even dropped or anything like that. It was normal everyday use and it clearly should've held up a lot longer than four days. The screen was either defective or the installation was wrong. So I went in this get this resolved and the same person basically told me I was SOL and I had to pay full price to get a new screen. He pointed out that no warranty on new screens was offered. After explaining to him that it broke after setting the phone on a counter, the person was rude about it and refused even consider that the screen was poor quality and/or the install was wrong. This was the same person in the video another reviewer posted. He would not even consider meeting me in the middle somewhere, honestly I probably would've been ok with a discounted price. So yeah, definitely look elsewhere. These types of shops are a dime a dozen and it should be easy to find a place with better pricing AND better service! No idea how this place is rated so high. read more

This owner is rude and unprofessional. I went in this shop to replace iPhone screen protection. He asked me to wait a while until he came out. He quoted the screen replacement $180 and 20 minutes. I was shocked. If he doesn't want the business, he can just say so. I turned around to go to the other shop near by for $20 in 5 minutes. read more

They charge $50 to assess what's wrong with the device. We agreed and when we looked at the credit card charge, they charged tax on top of the assessment fee! Had I known they were so nickel and dime about everything I would not have supported this small business. read more

PLEASE WATCH VIDEO!!!! paid 340 for repair that broke one day later. When quality of product was questioned this was his response, he responded by getting upset calling me all kind of derogatory names in front of my small child. Tried to snatch my phone when I pulled back he slapped it out of my hand hitting my hand all with my baby in arm! I'm disgusted This is not ok I had to contact the authorities This is cheap product and cheap glass used. This guy should not be allowed to do business with this kind of behavior read more

Dropped off my Samsung S7 tablet to have cracked screen replaced. When I picked up tablet all looked OK, upon use at home found on white pages only the screen was wavey. They immediately ordered a replacement screen and now tablet is working properly. They even replaced my screen protector. During this process the technician was polite and gave excellent customer service. As a business owner myself this is the type of customer service all business owners strive to get from their employees. read more

I thought everything was fine until my phone broke again less than 2 weeks after bringing it here. I should've known that it was shotty work since I could see the glue through the back glass. I Couldn't go back to have them replace and had another company swap out my back glass again. The second company that replaced it showed me the crappy way they glued the back glass and how much glue they got in the phone and on all the ribbon cables in the phone. Yet they didn't use any glue I. The middle of the glass so of course it broke. No to mention All this glue messed up the power button cable and now my phones power button doesn't work. Go elsewhere, save yourself a headache and the extra cost of a second repair and now a phone that doesn't function. read more

What a day, ugh. My day was having a few bumps and then I dropped my iphone and... My phone screen shattered, and my iphone lense began to fade into a small sea of big bold black swirly lines. By the time my phone is being attacked by black scrolling forms it is after 5:00 pm and I am in Tustin, California. Thankfully, I located Smart Cell Repair in Tustin. The owner, Shawn was able to fix my iphone screen in under 30 minutes. Shawn politely completed my iphone repair with a smile on his face, a wonderful personality and in a timely manner. Thank you, Shaun. read more

Sunday afternoon emergency kid's iPad screen repair!! Thanks guys for such a huge save. Appreciate the professionalism.

Phone was taken back 4 times, buttons didn't work after being "fixed". Horrible service was offered a free case and screen protector for a positive review. Most these reviews are fake. Owner snapped at me on the phone and said that "I'm the problem". Just ended up buying a new phone. This was around a year ago. (THEY ALSO DONT USE GENUINE APPLE PARTS.) This was confirmed by apple technician. read more

BEWARE! Do not have anything done to your phone here. Came in for a simple cracked screen replacement. Nothing else was wrong with my phone other than a cracked screen. After the screen is replaced, the ear piece suddenly does not work and they wont take responsibility for damaging it. On top of that, they say the battery needs to replaced and a list of other things. They will try and SCAM you! I don't know his name but he was extremely rude thru the entire process. He yelled at my mother to leave his store because she "doesnt speak English!" Take your business elsewhere. read more

Came in to fix an iphone 11 front screen and it only took 20 min. It was fast and reliable

Requested a quote through Yelp and got a quick reply. I was able to drop off my XS Max for a battery replacement and back and front screen repair the very next day. Got it back later the same day and the phone is working good as new! read more

Good place for fast and efficient iPhone battery replacement while you wait. Located in Larwin Square, Tustin.

DO NOT GO HERE! My phone needed the cracked glass replaced. When I picked up the phone, my phone wasn't working (it was functioning perfectly before - just needed the glass replaced). After troubleshooting with my carrier for over an hour, it was determined something happened during the "repair". I went back to the shop and the guy (same guy from the video in past review) kept saying it was a carrier issue, a line issue. Asked if I was sure I paid my bill. Started calling me derogatory names & my young daughter was with me. Stay away from this place! read more

I'd give 5/5, but i didn't end up needing his service. That being said, he was recommended by a friend who was satisfied with the service. Also very responsive with Yelp DMs and negotiable for price. I appreciate his patience with me. read more

I needed to get the front glass of my iPhone X replaced before trading it in and this place was only one of two stores near me that performed the glass only refurbishing/repair service. The price was cheaper than an aftermarket screen replacement and this method definitely looks original. I didn't have time to stay for the repair so I dropped it off to Shawn. I told him I won't be back for a few days so they can take their time if they wanted to. He gave me a call the next day but I didn't go back until a few days later. Once I got the phone back, I inspected it definitely looked original without any frame or bezel issues. Satisfied with the repair, I then packed it up and shipped it out at the post office down the street. I must say, Shawn was very police throughout the entire process and made me feel confident that the phone would be repaired right. He'a a good guy in my book. read more
