History
Established in 2015.
More Than A Fix was founded in 2015 by Guy and James, two experienced technicians who had worked at other electronics repair shops before deciding to build something better. Frustrated by poor quality and lack of transparency in the industry, they set out to create a shop where integrity, expert workmanship, and fair pricing came first.
Starting in a small suite with just the two of them, the business steadily grew through word of mouth. In 2019, they added their first technician, Monse, who became a key part of the team and officially joined as a business partner in 2024. Our Technician Jack joined in 2022, bringing further talent and support to the team.
Now with three locations and an expanded team, More Than A Fix also began offering home appliance repair in 2024; continuing their mission to provide dependable, honest service across a growing range of repairs.
Meet the Business Owner: Monse M.
About the Manager & Co-Owner
Monse is a business partner at More Than a Fix and has been an essential part of the team since 2019. With over a decade of experience in electronics repair, she brings deep technical knowledge, leadership, and a commitment to quality that helps drive the company forward.
She completed advanced micro-soldering and board repair training through iPadRehab in New York, this training forwarded her ability to handle the most complex repairs, from intricate motherboard work to critical data recovery. Monse not only leads by example in the lab, but also plays a key role in guiding company standards, team development, and customer satisfaction.
As a co-owner alongside James and Guy, Monse helps ensure that More Than a Fix remains known for honest service, expert repair, and a level of care that’s hard to find elsewhere.
