I've had my PlayStation 5 since the console first launched, and up until recently it had been running great. I was installing the case normally, not dropping the phone or using excessive force. When I contacted the store, they told me I was being "too rough" while putting the case on and refused to honor the warranty. Instead, they offered me only a 50% discount on another screen replacement. A properly installed screen should not crack from the normal process of putting on a phone case. I was very disappointed by how my concern was handled. Rather than standing behind their repair, they blamed me without any evidence. I had a problem with my laptop computer that wouldn't charge -- I suspected that the charging port was broken. Instafix was one of the few places open on Sunday with a real person answering the phone. The guy was friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. The guy was very fair and honest. He did some of the analysis right in front of me, testing the power supply with a voltmeter. He looked up the part he needed and gave me a price on the spot. I walked in first thing in the am with a dead-screen phone. They were quickly able to determine that the phone was still working and it was 99% likely a screen issue. With some creative thinking, the manager helped come up with a way to get a replacement screen into the store on the same day, even though my phone is an older device and normally it would take 1-2 days to get a replacement screen shipped. I had a crack on my Iphone and had it fixed by them. The charge was $258.59. One week later, the screen cracked again. I did not drop the Iphone or damage it in anyway. It cracked by itself. I included the pictures of the cracked screen. The owner said there was a 90 day warranty for the screen. I then took the Iphone to him, showing the cracked screen. He said he wouldn't do anything. He said the screen wouldn't crack by itself. I didn't do anything to this phone after it was fixed. It broke on its own. It broke because of the poor job he did installing the new screen. My HP laptop Spectre which would not start up even after two trips to the tech shop in Irvine and a lot of money out of my pocket. Fed up, I went to Instafix on Portola. Wow what a difference. I explained to them the problem and that the laptop has been previously worked on by another shop. After a quick discussion, I dropped off my laptop and wow on the same day I get a call back and he told me the problem and issues and that in 20 minutes he can fix it. Instafix Foothill Ranch was able to fix my Lenovo laptop. Unfortunately, it's a common problem with the frame separating from the screen at the hinge. I guess especially on lenovo's, with the flip screen, It's a risky procedure because the screen can crack but this guy did a fabulous job. Price was in line with other stores across the nation. My iPhone 17 Pro Max was not working. It would not charge or turn on. I took it to InstaFix and I felt confident he was going to fix it.
