This is now my go-to Verizon store. I usually only go in every few years for upgrades, and it can be nerve-wracking not knowing what kind of experience you'll get with different reps or locations. But the Tustin store at The District completely changed that, ESPECIALLY thanks to Aaron working there. He was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely focused on helping me find what worked best for me. Honestly, the best kind of customer service you could ask for. I highly recommend this location. I understand the hesitation people might have about whether a store has your best interests in mind, but this one really does. The team seems cohesive, and the overall vibe is comfortable and welcoming. 5 stars most def And no, im not AI or like work for them. When I arrived, the employee Aaron immediately had a negative attitude. I stayed calm, but he was dismissive and acted as if I shouldn't be there for the issues I'm having with Verizon. I came in to resolve the issue properly, yet I was made to feel unwelcome. Initially I came here after visiting another Verizon location at MainPlace Mall in Tustin, where there was an 80-minute wait but plenty of staff actively helping customers. When I arrived at this location, there was no line -- and no employees available either. At one point, employees went on break, and the only person present said he couldn't assist because he wasn't a manager or salesperson, he's just a host that can check in people, tho there's no one coming in. It was frustrating and disappointing, especially compared to the service at another location. It's honestly not surprising there were no customers here. read more

We came to this store at 3:00 PM and were told to wait until the lunch break was over. At first, we were told 3:15 PM, but then we were told to wait another 30 minutes, with no clear explanation. The store is completely empty. There are no customers at all. Managers and Verizon employees keep going outside, coming back in, walking around, but no one is helping us. We initially spoke to Aaron, who was extremely rude and unprofessional. After just two minutes of communication, we politely asked to speak with another manager, without any insults or conflict. I'm writing this review to warn others not to waste their time. We specifically came here from another location that had a long line, assuming this store would be faster -- but there is no line here because people most likely walk in, realize no one helps, and leave. There is literally only one other person sitting on the left side of the store. That's it. An entire store with no customers, and still no service. Despite multiple employees being present, no one stepped in to help us. Someone else easily could have assisted instead of making us wait. This is one of the worst customer service experiences we've had. We do not recommend this store and hope management pays attention to how this location is being run. read more

I came in here earlier this week to look for a new cellphone provider. Aaron was there to greet me and guide me through the best deals for me. He was able to get me a SOLID deal that bundled our home internet and 2 lines (2 for the price of 1) AND a new 16pro for 5$ a month for 3 years ($180 total). What a crazy deal! Went to T mobile and AT&T where they couldn't even come close to the quote Arron provided me at this Verizon. Came back a couple days later to lock that deal in before it went away and I'm glade I did! Still sorting through some small details with Aaron with our phone coverage; however, I expected some small issues from switching to a whole new provider. Even after the sale, Aaron is informative and attentive. Despite this, I am still being billed / reported incorrectly. This is not acceptable. Called 3 Verizon locations in the Irvine and Tustin area and this location was the only one that picked up and had a very informative rep so we went there for my new iPhone! we had Aaron help us and he was also super informative and patient. He helped us tailor our needs for the perfect phone without trying to pressure and upsell us like some other places. This location has great service! Tried to use Verizon because they own all the towers but their "unlimited" has a cap that runs out around a week even if it's turned off on both phones and mobile hotspot devices, so we tried to get 2 and switch them over the month but then one of them didn't work, the devices give out after about a month of use, by 6 months it no longer turns on and I'm stuck paying off a useless device because I was consistently lied to by Verizon. Eventually moved over to T-Mobile/Sprint as they absorbed each other and guess what, it works! With NO limit. And it's cheaper. If give 0 stars if I could. I've visited this Verizon store multiple times and each time it's been extremely frustrating. Most recently, we were told the waitlist was 1.5+ hours, and even though we arrived well before closing, we were informed they couldn't help us that day and to come back another time. We had called earlier to confirm service would be available, and were assured it would be, yet once we arrived, we were turned away again. This time it frustrated me so much that I told them it was not acceptable to have been told something over the phone and driving over to be turned away. Finally, one of them said "I can just look quick" another representative said "just have them call instead." When we arrived there was only one representative helping a customer and the other representatives were in the back, and they came out when we arrived. I was told there were "6 people in line that were waiting in their cars" but the store and parking lot seemed slow. Didn't seem like a genuine comment. The whole experience feels disorganized and lacking in basic customer service. Very disappointing. read more

In October, I switched my home internet from COX to Verizon's 5G Home plan. As a loyal Verizon customer for over 7 years with an unlimited mobile plan, I was offered the 5G Home plan at a locked-in rate of $45/month -- which seemed like a great deal. However, the experience since then has been incredibly frustrating. In late January, we discovered that we were eligible for a free one-year Disney Bundle promotion. It was still active on our account, so we activated it. From that point on, every single month, we've been incorrectly charged for it. Each time, we contact customer service -- spending over an hour explaining the same issue. They apologize, say it's fixed, and promise we won't be charged again. Yet the charge always comes back the next month. We've spoken to reps via live chat, phone calls, and even visited a Verizon store -- but no one has been able to permanently resolve what should be a very simple, straightforward issue. It's extremely disappointing that a company like Verizon cannot handle a basic billing error, especially after so many attempts and confirmations. At this point, I'm seriously considering switching to another provider. Verizon needs to do better. read more

Hands down, the best Verizon experience I've had in the 25+ years being a Verizon customer. I broke my phone and wasn't sure whether I wanted to upgrade my phone or submit an insurance claim. Aaron discussed all options and I decided to go with the upgrade. Keep in mind, my phone was broken and I had no way to retrieve any stored data on my phone, and I didn't have anything saved to the cloud. My screen was busted and all images were black, essentially my phone was blank screen, but still powered on. Through some miracle, Aaron worked his magic and somehow screen-shared my phone to his computer and through endless attempts trying to navigate through a broken blacked-out broken screen, was able to eventually transfer my data to my new phone. I thought I lost everything... Thank you so very much for your patience and determination to help retrieve my data and treat your customers the way you would want to be treated. At the end of the day, it was as if I never broke my phone... Everything was transferred as if nothing changed, and on top of it all, he also reduced my monthly bill... New phone, lower bill, no out of pocket cost... 100% service!!!!! Thank you! read more

I waited 10 min and even he saw me but turned his face and keep talking on the phone. Writing a review on behalf of my boyfriend who came here and said that the team was unhelpful, provided more questions than answers, and didn't offer any solutions to existing problems my boyfriend had. He wanted to get off his mom's plan to be on his own account. We saw so many plans online that offered Hulu/Disney plus bundles for unlimited data plans and they said "this plan is no longer available" when it's STILL advertised online as an option. I've been with Verizon for 20 years. Recent upgrade experience went smoothly, but we rejected the protection plan for our 5 phones + 1 watch on multiple occasions. Finally, they told us that they'd give us one month protection for free because they've seen too many folks have something go bad in the first month -- telling us, of course, we can always cancel after the first month. The next bill summary provided to showed $0 for protection as represented. When the next bill came, however, it included the monthly fee for the protection for the month that it was supposed to be no charge, as well as the upcoming month (which is fine). Presumably the hope was that I would not bother to review the bill. When I disputed the charge, Verizon said that both charges were valid, they don't have the authority to comp the protection for a month, and there are not any notes in the file to confirm that the first month would be comped. Thus, despite rejecting the service several times, they simply forced it on to the bill and charged for it any way. Poor business practice. read more

Frustrated and mad I went to the Verizon store at the District and was greeted by the manager who told me I had to wait 20 min as there were other customers ahead of me. 20 minutes was nothing compared to the hours I spent on the phone. But after only 5 minutes, the manager came back to me and stated he would try and resolve my issues. 10 minutes later he had my phone activated. And the whole time I was there I noticed the manager made sure that anyone who walked in the door was greeted and taken care of. I love this place!! read more

I had a surprisingly good experience coming to this Verizon location. The manager was easy-going, and I really only had a question about the trade-in value of my iPhone 12 Pro (it wasn't much) and to possibly see upgrade options. The location itself is easy to find as it's near one of the main entrance points to The District. The store looks very modern and well updated, and reminds me of a genius bar from Apple but with Verizon accessories and an assortment of phones. I was impressed with how they have working displays up (for example, I was able to place my phone on a mag accessory and it immediately began charging my phone since it was hooked up to power) and all the associates seemed busy with helping other customers. After checking in, the manager didn't upsell anything or try to convince me of changing my current plan and simply laid out my trade in options. Unfortunately, I did not qualify for a certain promotion due to our current service plan. However, I was still happy that I received good service and could take more time to myself to consider trading in or just buying another phone on my own. read more

After being with AT&T for over a decade, I decided to switch over to Verizon because I heard good things about their service coverage. I had no issues with AT&T. I just wanted to try something different. Here's a BRIEF summary of my experience with Verizon: I made the switch on 9/10, and on 9/21, I decided to cancel my contract. I understand how Big Business works. But as business continues to grow, so do the customer needs. It's difficult dealing with multiple people and having to reiterate your issue. If I am being honest, customer service (on the phone) was very frustrating to deal with. I had to talk to so many different people. Some were helpful, but there was 1 or 2 individuals that gave me the impression they just wanted me out of their queue. In the course of 3 days, I spent over 4 hours talking to a customer service agent. The last agent I spoke to redirected me to a "porting department" in which they could not transfer me over to. I had to dial out, but get this- it was the number to a Medical Device company (wish I was joking! Verizon Corp, if you're reading this, Pull up my account, call are recorded, right?). I had to jump through hoops before Amal finally provided a resolution for me. Amal's service went above and beyond. Honestly, had I just gone in-store to set everything up. I wouldn't have canceled with Verizon. You know what's funny? I was on the phone with customer service when they actually told me that I could leave the store. They even went on to say, "they can't help you." Amal figured out the impossible! I don't know how, but I'm sure glad he did. I know we're moving toward a "virtual" work space/community, and online shopping/delivery is a convenience. But there's something about customer service and handling an issue in-person vs. on the phone. There is more human connection and empathy. It's a different vibe when you're on the phone. The other person can't see your facial expression or hand gestures. It makes it more difficult to empathize. They couldn't fix my phone, but they did what the Apple Store didn't which is look into my phone and realize it was still under factory warranty. Traded in 3 phones but the store lost or didn't send 2 phones to Verizon warehouse and now I'm stuck not getting any credits for the trade ins that's worth $2k. I dropped off my phones in person to make sure i get full credits instead of mailing out. The store manager Omar received the trade ins, checked the phones are all in good condition. Told me all is good but no credits after 3rd bill. Contacted the store manager several times and he said no worries. Will show on 4th. Nothing. All approved by the upper management and the issue is all resolved. I will see all the missing credits applied on the 5th bill. Nothing. Verizon Corporate store that can't do the job right and can't fix the problem ?? Avoid at all costs unless you want to give away a couple thousands dollars. Having used the Verizon service for more than two decades now I've never seen such an unprofessional, lazy and incompetent staff as Jason and Omar. This guy Jason looks totally checked out and indifferent about his job and customers. I was at the store to upgrade two of my lines but for whatever reason he said he is unable to do it because there's an issue with the system and said I have to Verizon myself to resolve the issue, repeatedly saying "I'm just a sales guy." When I asked for other options such as paying for the new phone in cash he said he would have a manager come talk to me and then disappeared to the back of the store, leaving me there waiting for 30 minutes. The manager never showed up so I asked other staff to talk to one. When the store manager named Omar finally showed up he said he wasn't aware of this and told me he would put me back in line so I can wait again for a different salesperson and start all over whereas he was walking around, chatting with people about random stuff and cracking jokes. He was not any more helpful as he told me to come back the next day if I don't have time to wait longer. At that point I left the store knowing these people are useless and uninterested in helping me. I'll never come back to this store. read more

I'd give zero if I could. Showed up on a Sunday afternoon as a walk-in. Three or four workers standing around, maybe one customer, but they all insist there's no room for walk-ins because it's booked up for appointments. So we schedule an appointment for 3 pm on the following Wednesday. What a joke. We show up at 2:45 just in case they can squeeze us in early. A guy "checks us in" quickly, telling us we're early. 35 minutes later, and 20 minutes past our appointed time, with no eye contact, acknowledgement or peep out of any of the four or five guys working that day, we left. No one even raised an eyebrow. They did all seem to be helping people, but some were walk-ins, and none of them had made an appt for 3 pm. One guy even spent several minutes talking with a walk-in about how he couldn't help them with their problem, which was several minutes longer than he spent not helping us. We'd had good customer service at the Verizon store in the Marketplace, but they're closed for some reason. Almost makes me wanna switch to another carrier. I will at least go to a different location for help in the future - unless they all close too. read more

I had Verizon for over 10yrs. Honestly, I thought that everyone's technology was on the same page, so I switched to Sprint since it was cheaper. Boy did I regret it!! Quite possibly the best customer service I've ever had in store. I want to give an incredible shout out to the store manager Amal. Also Ken for his help as well. Had an issue where I wasn't getting trade in credit for my old phone. I called their online customer service. Absolute disaster was on hold for over 3 hours, transferred to different departments, told they had no paper trail of me turning in my phone and then the representative proceeded to hang up on me. (This would happen again.) I went into the store fuming and pissed. But a knight in shining armor appeared in Amal. He put himself in my shoes and proceeded to hunt down a paper trail of me turning in my phone at any time with this difficulty he could have merely shrugged me off and said they never got it, but her persisted and found the serial number to the phone I had . Turns out the store did receive it and the warehouse never took note of it and therefore a submission ID was never created. Now because of how awful the corporate structure that is Verizon is setup they do not allow stores to issue promotional credits or trade in credits, Amal went to battle with me calling representative after representative to explain the issue. We spent close to 4 hours and it was truly a biblical display of David versus Goliath trying to battle the Verizon online support which had zero interest in taking accountability to just help us with the problem. I thank Amal from the bottom of my heart in helping me through it all as even he said he would be frustrated in my position. Can't thank him enough and I've never been more impressed with a store like this Verizon location. Bravo! read more
