Terrible service. We had an appointment scheduled for 4:00 PM and arrived on time. We ended up standing at the check-in desk for about 30 minutes before anyone even spoke to us. After that, the manager told us there were 13 people ahead of us, even though we had a confirmed appointment for 4:00. In total, we spent almost 1 hour and 40 minutes here and were never helped. Complete waste of time. Employees keep going to the back room, coming out for five minutes, then disappearing again for half an hour. There is absolutely no organization or respect for customers' time. It honestly feels like the entire office operates this way. Very disappointed. The manager, Johnny Vasquez, made my day! I was having a tough day but when I walked in I was greeted and helped by Johnny who had the most positive energy. I had to trade in my phone but there was a system error. Instead I would have to ship it out, I was frustrated because I did not have time to go home and do that. To my surprise, Johnny said to give him 10 minutes and it would be taken care of. He took care of the logistics, printed the label, got the box and packed the phone so I'll I'd have to do is ship it off. The home internet service is great until about 4pm. It slows WAY DOWN and what is supposed to be 5g becomes 1 bar at 4g. Sometimes I can't even watch tv because I can't get a signal. I have reset my modem, added an exapensive router, placed the box by a window and it still sucks until about 11pm. Get it together Verizon! read more

Worst customer service! Walked in to check in, couldn't tell who even worked there. Not a single greeting. But sure let's pay premium for this service and get treated like we need this service. The guys working had no decency to say anything to us while we were waiting to find out where we were in the check in line. Other people were waiting and no common courtesy or any sort of customer service. I've never experienced anything like it. Do employees get training on customer service? We were so confused as to why no one was being helped or who the employees even were. It was a terrible experience. I came into this Verizon store and checked in as number 11 in the queue. I waited patiently as the list moved, and when it finally reached my turn, the screen showed I was NEXT. Instead of helping me, the staff skipped over my name completely and assisted the fourth person behind me. No explanation, no acknowledgment. It was frustrating and felt completely unprofessional. I had waited my turn, and the queue made it clear I was next--yet I was ignored. I ended up leaving because it didn't seem like anyone planned to correct the mistake. Tried to get a new phone. They only ship it and won't ship to the store so you can pick up there. Was supposed to come Thursday got pushed back to Friday. I work nights. I waited all day for the phone because you need to sign for it which they didn't make clear either. Missed it by 30 min because I had to go to work. I, like many others, am terrible at updating and upgrading my mobile device and even dread having to go in just because I already know how much of a pain it can be to transfer information from the old to the new. However, when it comes to personal customer service, hands down this Verizon branch was able to exceed expectations. DJ, my assigned associate, was not only knowledgeable but experienced with exactly the situation I was in, and not only was able to explain subtle differences in phone varieties, but gave realistic insight to what I actually needed for my day to day use. Once a choice was made, and the decision to move forward on transferring information came through, I expected a long wait time (mostly because my older model device was on deaths door). However, after some intent progress, DJ was able to make the lateral move to my new device bearable and relieving. I'm thrilled with my new phone and all it's new features to play with, AND even more thrilled at the extra aid DJ provided to help with my streaming services and plan. I arrived at 6:50pm for my 7pm appointment to upgrade my phone and used the link that was text to me to check in. For some reason the kiosk in the front of the store showed my name as a walk-in, but I was at the top of the list. In the app, I was also at the top of the list and could see that 10 walk-ins from as early as 1pm were still being helped, so I thought that the wait shouldn't be too much longer. A greeter came to check on me at 7:20pm and told me that 2 people were ahead of me that have been waiting for more than an hour. I told her that I had an appointment at 7pm and she said that she'd check up on that and left without giving an ETA. At this point, I thought that there wasn't a point in making an appointment and the line system was flawed. I continued to wait until 8pm; no one came to check on me and there were no changes to the waitlist, all of the customers were still being helped. I asked the same employee what the ETA was and she told me 20 mins. Then I went and sat in my car for 20 mins before coming back into the store to see no changes. A specialist finally finished with a customer at 8:30pm and came to help me. He apologized after finding out I had an appointment at 7pm and took care of everything I needed in less than 10 mins. They need to figure a way to prioritize the short appointments because my wife waited 40 mins a week before to drop off her trade in. read more

I went to this location with a very difficult warranty vs. insurance issue. I was met at the door by a very pleasant manager who gave me every "assurance" (NPI) that she would make my day better. I went in to for a trade in yesterday and the team was incredibly helpful and the process was seamless. I had no issues during my transaction and the team explained my new bill clearly. While I was being helped, a woman walked in without an appointment. She hadn't even waited 10 minutes when she demanded she be provided with service before the gentleman that walked into the store before her. She associates kindly requested she wait her turn and they would be with her in a moment. She again demanded immediate service. While I was interested in switching providers, Verizon also proved that they have poor customer service. While it's good that that they have a check in station, it's poorly maintained. Another bad sign was watching a customer argue with an employee. That gave me a vibe that maybe Verizon isn't what they used to be as a provider. Absolute worst. Untrustworthy people and systems. We walked out of this store with a piece of paper that said our bill should be 170/month. It was consistently way over that - we have had so many visits and phone calls - each time we go to the store (or call) they say somethng like "yes, our mistake - it is corrected in the system" - it never ever is. Verizon is an untrustworthy company - worse than AT&T (which is quite a statement). Scammy sales people and systems that dont work. Terrible experience. Very disappointed in their customer service. Verizon sold me a defective phone that was set up by them. The sales rep and manager both did not want to assist in fixing the phone. They had no problem selling me and setting up the phone however when it came to taking a look at the phone they did not want to. I'm going to begin with the positive ending...George was a doll to work with. Here's the negative and let me preface this with saying I've been a customer for probably close to 20 years when Verizon purchased the other company. I went in only to purchase a portable charger for my phone. I will admit that maybe I should've known which one would be compatible with my iPhone, but I did not. I did not have an appointment because I went in there only to buy the charger. I waited an hour to be helped. I had to keep going up to somebody to ask where I was in line because the board they used to have up showing where you are in line was no longer there. The greaters at the front unfortunately do not have access to a method of allowing people to purchase anything. Also, they don't have product knowledge. I was really disappointed with this visit . Worst customer service of any store I have ever been to! I bought a new iphone 16 pro here. They were supposed to call me when the phone arrived. I never heard from them. It was impossible to reach them by phone as your calls go to a service, not the store. Finally, I went to the store again. Jon was complacent and completely worthless, so I asked to see the manager, Ben. He wasn't much better. I told him I would not accept the phone now and returned it plus the items I bought additionally to support the phone...case, cable, screen saver, etc. Ben completely messed up my account so that when I went to the Verizon store in Tustin, they had a hard time figuring out what the Irvine Jamboree store had done. Other customers in the Tustin store said they started at the Irvine Jamboree store but their experience was so awful, they walked out and ended up at the Verizon Tustin Legacy store. I went yesterday to get my phone hooked back up to Verizon after a factory reset (went to Europe and it freaked my phone out). They not only did they put my phone on the server but spent time with me getting me signed into my Google account - which wasn't easy. 3 different Verizon staff were helpful, and finally the senior one was able to get me signed on.
